conditioning PDM output

I have three open TDMS files and then the data is saved on my hard drive. Is it possible to control when the saving action begins and ends?

Moreover, I can combine three TDMS files into one with separate strings?

Your question: can I combine three TDMS files into one with separate strings?

Answer: refer to http://forums.ni.com/t5/DIAdem/Appending-tdms-files-problem/td-p/1121142
----
You can concatenate large TDMS files using the Windows command prompt (you can choose to delete the files TDMS_INDEX or concatenate them in the same order):

copy/b "C:\temp\0.tdms", "C:\temp\1.tdms" + "C:\temp\2.tdms" "c:\temp\merged.tdms".
----

Your question: is it possible to control when the saving action begins and ends?

Answer: Sorry I don't understand your question. There is only "TDMS Write", not TDMS write Begin/End. You might put 'TDMS write' in a case of "True" (not the case 'False') of 'Structure box. You can set the terminal 'Structure Case' selector to control when to save data to the PDM file. Does make sense?

  • RH5.1: Empty folders in the conditional text output

    Okay, know that I use RH 5.1, and is not likely to change anytime soon.

    I use conditional text to support a customer-specific systems, so I don't want any mention to a customer of the aid system aid system another client, even folders.

    The TOC is fine - if a folder is empty, it is not generated in the help system. The problem is that empty folders (with the names of other customers on them) are always in the folders on the drive of each user. My job is to do not forget to remove the empty output files after I generated the system and before I promote in the help system in the construction of the client software.

    Is it possible to do it's automatic? I really want to remember to do this for the rest of my life.

  • For loop within a while loop

    I have for loop within a while loop... admission to the for loop N comes from the VI selection... the while loop I a condition essentially statement it stops just after to finish all the iteration in loop...

    Entrance to the N loop is bascially driven by a local variable... that's the problem Iam having:

    When I press the Start button to run the program... regardless of the output of the select VI is gives the N of the for loop, then the loop starts and then ends in place... and when the output of the select statement takes a different value (the N of the loop for) loop not work until I restart the program again... What can I do so that the for loop runs again for another value of N, the RUN program button is enabled.

    2 then I can see (some) it happens all at once. This thing does nothing?

    3. local variables can lead to race conditions.  Output in Angle position may be a race condition, although is probably not what you wanted to do.  What does the wired local time at the moment present terminal meter? 4. having more than one Dequeue function on the same queue will lead to unpredictable results.  When an item is removed, it is removed from the queue and is not accessible to any other Dequeue function.  In parallel loops, you have no way of guessing which Dequeue will seize any particular element.

    5 use Boolean reverse instead of Select with wired False to true and true cable at the entrance to false entry. Better, just make the case of forgery in the structure of the case within the for loop the real deal. No required reversal.

    6. I was not looking for to determine the logic of the code within the structure of this case. It seems I could have posted a much simpler way to do this several weeks ago.

    7. use multiply from the Digital Palette rather than a node form multiply by 4 or 1.8. Uses less space BD and is much easier to read.

    8. as has been suggested, learn how to work the machine architecture and the State of producer/consumer.  They can make your life much easier.  Do not try to convert immediately to these models.   It's too much bite to at some point.  Learn how they work first.  Make a few simple examples.  Then rewrite this program in this format.  Probably faster than fixing what you have now.

  • Bug of output conditional Boolean autoindexing

    It's a little subtle, so I apologize in advance for the possible confusion.

    Start with a While loop and conditionally autoindex a scalar:

    Example 1

    As noted, the Boolean result is a scalar.

    Now try the same thing with a loop (DO NOT REPLACE THE WHILE LOOP above by a For CREATING a BRAND NEW LOOP FOR loop):

    Example 2

    OK, so now the Boolean result is a table. Cool, that's what I wanted with the While loop above, but could not achieve.

    Now you can play with replacements:

    In example 1 above, replace the While loop with a loop For. Here's what you get:

    If you CAN produce a Boolean scalar value in a loop For, but you have to go through a While loop to get it.

    Now replace the loop in example 2 by a while loop:

    All right, here's my table Boolean output. But I had to go through a While loop to do.

    I'd say it's a bug, and the Boolean result of conditional indexation should be a table (not sure if there would be any how to have it be a scalar; last exit value?).

    Tested by LavBIEW 2013 SP1 64 bit

    Sam is correct: the conditional Terminal is not out of the loop for. When you "dragged through" the sequence you actually create an output of indexation of array of Booleans (unconditionally). Click on "cleaning chart" and you will see this. (I guess it might be a bug that LabView allows two nodes to overlay on the same place in the loop).

    Moreover, you can always get a scalar to a loop for. right click on the tunnel, set it to "last".

  • can I use instead of conditioning of analogue output signals data acquisition to provide voltage outputs analog?

    Hello guys,.

    I have a general question regarding the units of packaging such as the USB-9263 analog output signal. If I can use it instead of data acquisition to provide an analog voltage output?

    Thank you

    ELA

    Yes, the 9263 can provide 4 output channels analog voltage (+/-10 v range) with up to 1mA of current drive. Looks like: it refers to the short circuit of conditioning of signals and some protection against overvoltage. Link below is the User Guide:

  • Inconsistent output in project values. Possible race condition.

    I have a big project and saw many. I recently made some changes to the highest VI (do not remember what the changes were however) which led to a very strange test results, from time to time. I have a VI sub entering the model number off the coast of the ASE and outputs of an enum. If the Subvi outputs 2, shall be read as a 2 to the topVI. About 20% of cases, it generates a 0. At the higher level, the output of the Subvi connects to a typedef cluster that contains the typedef enum.

    I thought about it. It turns out that it wasn't a race condition. Where I placed my probes and where I put breakpoints, it looked like the data that has been taken out of the subIV and the data in the top VI did not correspond to the top. It turns out that the DUT has a firmware which sometimes returns incorrect data.

    you could also create the entire string first and output that:

  • Conditional code of liquid to the output an image if webApp field is empty

    Hello world

    I have a webApp where one of the input fields is an image. If the image field is not completed then I don't want the image to display. Here is the block of code that is on the page of details webApp template:

    < div class = "booking / details" > {tag_image detail}

    < side >

    < style p = "" border: 0px; "class ="nice-date"> {tag_Event Date} < /p >"

    < / side >

    < / div >

    The tag {tag_image detail} is the field in the Web application which is filled if there is an image available, but as mentioned if the field is empty so I don't want a symbol of broken image appearing in the browser.

    I changed the above code by encapsulating code liquid around the tag {tag_image in detail} as follows:

    < div class = "booking / details" > {% if this.} Image! = "" %} {tag_image detail} {% endif %}

    < side >

    < style p = "" border: 0px; "class ="nice-date"> {tag_Event Date} < /p >"

    < / side >

    < / div >

    When I was reading the conditional code of liquid, he says to a collection under the label of output module. For example:

    collection = "myimages".

    I pulled out the following code to the module on the page of list of events:

    < div > < span style = "" line-height: 1; "> {module_webapps, 21018, one, 4 real, 1, date} </span > < / div >"

    But since the image that I'm trying to focus on the event details page I don't know if it will work. So I was wondering if someone could tell me if I just need to revise the module_webapps above tag to be as follows:

    < div > < span style = "" line-height: 1; "> {module_webapps, 21018, true, 4, 1,collection ="myimages",date} </span > < / div >"

    The above would be correct? Sorry, only to learn any liquid, and it's very confusing.

    Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Hello

    A few things.

    {tag_image detail} is the name of your image.

    This will make an image wrapped in an anchor by default.

    You can use the pure liquid output to make your own HTML code that you need.

    This leads to the main question why your liquid does not work.

    Your custom image field is called a precision of image and you just 'image' in your liquid.

    You have {% if this.} Image! = "" %} {tag_image detail} {% endif %}

    In programming, such as access to a file JSON with topic containing more then one word your liquid must be:
    {% If this.} ['image of detail']! = "" %} {tag_image detail} {% endif %}

    If it was a single word, lets say you want to copy the name then it would be

    {{name}} You don't need the 'that' bit.

    The ideal output would be something like:

    {% If this.} ['image of detail']! = « » %} {{name}} {% endif %}

    Note: This implies that your domain image is - detail of the Image / picture of detail

  • Conditional text in the output for the Responsive HTML5 file structure

    I am looking at transforming our old help .chm help Responsive HTML5. I'm looking blog a William van Weelden on the subject (fusion Multiscreen HTML5 help). I hope it applies to sensitive HTML5 as well.

    My question is about the structure of output folder. Its structure looks like this:

    merging_html5_folder_structure_output.png

    merging_html5_folder_structure_merged_project.png

    My application is available in two modes (Mode A and B of the Mode for example). Therefore, I have conditional text in sections Mode A and Mode B. should create folders of output under each child for each mode project? If so, do I have to create them in each folder profile screen so (so far, I don't know what profile I need other than the desktop).

    I use RoboHelp 11.0.4.291.

    Reactive help works different from Multiscreen (it's easy!). See: http://www.wvanweelden.eu/blog/2014/03/18/adobe-robohelp-merging-responsive-html5-help

    With the help of reagents, you have only 1jeu of content for all devices. If you want 2 different CBT applied, you will need to create two outputs.

  • Conditional tags - how to exclude files from the output

    Hi all

    I am trying to exclude certain topics (books) of the generation by applying the conditional tags. It works very well and these books are excluded from the table of contents; However, section files are not excluded that the output size is exactly the same. The items I must exclude are huge video tutorials. It seems that HR changes only the TOC when applying conditional build tags.

    Any ideas how to ensure that the files of excluded topics are not in the output?

    Thank you

    Hello

    If the subjects are actually excluded or not depends on exactly where you added the conditional tags. If you haven't been tag elements of the table of contents, all that is remove entries from the table of contents.

    My suggestion is to wipe the table of Contents formatting per tag and add the tags to the subjects themselves. Then, they should be excluded. And when they are excluded, they will disappear also the table of contents.

    See you soon... Rick
