• OfficeJet 6700 Premium: Unable to connect to the server

  I used my 6700 for almost a year and a half to work on a secure server of company where I couldn't use many features. I recently brought home, and now I use it on my personal network of houses. I followed the instructions on reprint the code of request but were unsuccessful. I constantly get a message that my printer is unable to conect to the server. My network wireless printing has been set up and I was able to print from my phone, laptop, & office. Can someone help me please my claim code?

  Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.

  I see that you are unable to activate the services Web on your HP Officejet 6700 Premium e-all-in-one printer. I would like to help.

  When users encounter this type of problem, I usually suggest from scratch with the radio of the printer and webservices configuration.  You can clear all of these parameters in a swoop by the factory default restore * your printer.

  Here's how:

  * Note that this step resets the setting up your printer wireless, address ePrint and other custom print settings. If you have created a custom address @hpeprint.com it is permanently erased. For more information about custom addresses ePrint, click here.

  • The printer's front panel, press the Setup/key icon and then tap tools
  • Select Restore to factory settings

  Then, touch the wireless icon () and run the Wireless Setup Wizard to restore your network connection.

  Make a note of the IP address of the printer.  Then, follow these steps to configure a manual DNS:

  • Enter the printer's IP address in a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer) and press ENTER to go directly to this page.
  • Click the network tab.
  • In the submenu on the left, click Networking.
  • Then click on the network (IP) address.
  • Click Manual DNS server.
  • DNS preferred as 8.8.8.8 manual entry
  • Auxiliary DNS server entry as 8.8.4.4
  • Click on apply to finalize this change.

  Then, press the icon of Webservices () and reactivate your webservices (necessary for scan to e-mail, ePrint and other features).

• DSC: IO custom Server: on the change of entry

  I wrote a custom server IO VI using the DSC Module.  Using NI DSM, I see the server status is 'Active '.

  Once again using DSM, I change the value of the control which is supposed to trigger the VI to run, but it does not run.

  What Miss me?  I managed to create several periodic servers custom, but it is my first "on entry changes.

  Note: I do not use 'notification of change in value of the shared variable' in this entry change VI, because 4 of the DSC training lesson leads me to believe that the mechanism is not necessary.

  Someone at - it examples of both types of custom servers?

  Well, I got it to work.  Got a new server very simple working code.  Then removed original project, recreated library IO server from scratch, added back into a project, and now it works.

  Still, I'd like to see examples of both types of customized servers to see how to handle error conditions. Lesson four said "make sure that VI is robust enough to handle/recover from the error, but does not give examples."

  We have following the architecture,
  
  database server: sql server 2005
  Server Foundation (OS = windows server 2008): HSS, EPMA, Manager Calc, EAS, EIS, provider's server, planning
  Essbase Server (OS = windows server 2008): essbase
  
  After you apply the patching EMP 11.1.2.1, we apply after Electrodes for IE 9 compactibility i.e EMP 11.1.2.1.600 patches
  
  1. patch 14119724 (Workspace)
  2 14142678 patch (Shared services)
  3 patch 14224664 (EPMA)
  4 patch 14464109 (planning)
  
  After you apply above patches, all users get error when opening planning web form through the workspace of all client computer.

• Wired conection loses sight of the files on the server, but can be crazy with success

  Suddenly, while accessing the files via the wired network connection, do not see the server unless you perform a restart.  However, I can still ping the address successfully.  It's a Win 7 computer accessing a sbs2003 server and it is the only network that does this.  I changed cables even tried a different network card.  which seems to be related software like everything else works fine.  This seems to be intermittent.  I can see the other computers on the network, is that the server who is affected.  What should I do to correct this?

• My mail downloads from the server twice, sometimes three times, also all in my address book duplicate email addresses. Can I have a virus, or y at - it a problem

• Failed to connect to the server. Why?

  I can receive emails. When I try to email a message says connection to the server has failed. Check the settings of the server.

  Go to your email provider's website and find out what the settings are supposed to be.

  Go to Tools | Account settings. Scroll down to the last entry in the list of Auditors, "outgoing (SMTP) server. Select this option, select your email provider's SMTP server and check the settings. If there is a disparity, click on edit and modify as needed.

  There is another way. I just try and avoid it.

  • It is essentially a compact manual.
  1. Create a folder in Thunderbird and copy all mail in the Inbox.
  2. Go to the menu Tools (alt + T), and then select account settings
  3. Select the server to the account settings (or if it is a local folder or a problem of global Inbox of local records)
  4. On the right at the bottom of the screen will be a local directory. Click Browse.
  5. In the window that opens on the right click on the highlighted entry and select Explorer. This should open windows Explorer to the folder that the file in question is
  6. Close Thunderbird by clicking Cancel on all Thunderbird Windows, you opened, and then the X
  7. Delete the Inbox and Inbox MSF files
  8. Restart Thunderbird
  9. Copy your mails to Thunderbird created when he started toward the top of the Inbox.
  • Thunderbird has its own javascript engine, it is part of the program.
  • Reinstall Thunderbird will not help because the problem is with your profile and who is unaffected by the resettlement process.

  I use a shared variable of the network to control a loop in FPGA in cRIO 9073. 1 for a month, the program was runing without any problem, but suddenly, the VI is thrwoing an error

  "HEX 0x8BBB0011 connection to the server has been disconnected.

  The error or warning occureed while writing the following shared variable

  \\NW-cRio\NW Library\NW_Force_cal

  \\169.254.106.130\NW Library\NW_Force_cal ".

  A screenshot of VI is fixed, the NW_Force_cal is highlighted.

  After the VI has been shut down and restart the VI took over running without problems. This kind of unpredictable behavior is very difficult to manage, I lost data in real time during 12 hours of recording because of this problem.

  Please suggest a solution for this problem.

  The error has explained the issue.  The network had problems that led to the server being offline.  How to solve this problem is to understand what is meant by "real time".  It's just another way to describe a deterministic calculation.  In other words, the program ensures that everything will happen within a predetermined period.  Order things to be deterministic, they must be controllable.  The most obvious way to break the determinism is to prompt the user for entry.  As we cannot guarantee clearly not the user will respond within a given period, can no longer call the deterministic program.  In this case, we have a more subtle break of determinism.  Relying only on a network will break determinism.  It is not simply a way to ensure that the network is not getting hit harder than usual.  In this case, the network was down for a period of time long enough to raise an error.

  Here's where we get to fix things.  Once the error has been generated, the code to do with it?  The wire of the error is not used for anything else.  I expect to raise an error and stop the program.  Clearly this isn't the desired behavior.  So, why we do not use the wire for an error handling?  In case of error, you can connect the data locally.  When you cover the network, you can clear the log to the host PC that you usually use to collect your data.  This command removes the dependency of your network for the code works.  With the help of a more robust code solves the problem with the relatively easy error management.  Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing anyone here can do to ensure your network never loses connectivity.

  I have one of my servers HPOV NNMi 9.23 restarted this morning and NNMi is loading is no longer.  I see the following errors in the newspapers said:

  The command line, I can ping localhost without problem.  Not sure why NNMi begins not at this point.

  Turns out be the permissions on the file/etc/hosts.

  I want to CustomPasswordFilter.dll to work without having to restart the server system.
