Configure BI publisher 12 c

Hi guys,.

I try to configure the schema editor BI on the OEM database for 12 c and the script, configureBIP, application of user management server password. I don't know what it is can someone help me pls?

Thank you

It would have been a password entered during the installation of the EM.   If you have selected a simple installation, it may be the same as your pwd sysman.   Otherwise, this would be the password for the weblogic administration console, user name is typically weblogic.

  • Account publish and subscribe to SOA Suite

    Hello

the event driven network Publish and subscribe how do I know that it uses MQ or QA or JMS . ?

    Thank you

Below are the main advantages of NDA instead of JMS Messaging:

To interact with the SOA components via events EDN

Typing with XML support inherent in the fort.

Easy to use: simple type definition event, configuration of publish/subscribe (DTC) and you are ready to deploy/run.

No need to manage objects JMS administered, for example in queue, connection factories, etc. - This is true in 11 g. This is true also in 12 c scalability becomes a necessary concern unless an additional heading of JMS with change of the event-to-JMS mapping.

Publishers of PL/SQL (database) (if based on QA) supported.

    Hi jllprpl,
Thank you for using Microsoft answers Forums.

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums!

Unplug all external devices connected to the computer except the keyboard and mouse.

If you do not have a Vista installation disc, try the following steps:

You can start your computer in safe mode and use the system restore feature.

    Start in safe mode:

Make sure that there are no floppy disks, CD or DVD in the computer, and then start the computer.

Use one of the following procedures, depending on your situation:

If a single operating system is installed, press F8 in the boot of the computer. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, turn off the computer and then restart it.

If multiple operating systems is installed, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start in safe mode, and press F8.

In the display Advanced Startup Options, use the arrow keys to select the option of safe mode you want and press ENTER. The advance options will work.

    Use the system restore feature:

Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

On the System Restore page, click Next.

Select a restore point in which you know that the operating system works, and then click Next.

The restore point should be a date that precedes the first time you experienced the problem described in the Symptoms"" section. To select a date, use her choose a restore different option and click Next.

If you are prompted for the disk to restore, select the hard disk on which the operating system is installed, and then click Next.

On the confirm your restore point page, click Finish.

When the restore process is finished, click on restart.

If the steps above did not work for you, try the steps below:

Try to run a Startup Repair tool, we will have boot from the Vista DVD and get RE Win and choose Startup Repair from the menu.

    1. Insert the installation disc.

    2. restart your computer.

    3. If you are prompted, press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.

Note: If your computer is not configured to start from a CD or a DVD, see the documentation provided with your computer. You may need to change your computer's BIOS settings. For more information, see BIOS: frequently asked questions.

    4. choose your language settings, and then click Next.

    5. click on repair your computer.

    6. Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.

    7. in the Startup Repair Options menu, click Startup Repair

Restart your computer. everything should work from this point well.

You can check the link below as well:

  • Can I use Lightroom Collections as my iMac screen savers?

Before the release of Aperture 3 to switch to Lightroom I used Aperture 3 Albums for screensavers in my iMac by selecting "System Preferences..." "Desktop and screen saver.Screen Shot 2015-07-11 at 10.24.44 pm.png

How can I use my Lightroom Collections in the same way?

    Cliff

Simply create a folder for your screensaver jpegs (you my already have one) and then configure the Publishing Service on your hard drive connected to this folder.

It is a special type of collection that keeps track of changes in the edition or metadata. It will show images changed to publish again and allows you to keep track of your images in screen saver all in one place without using a regular collection.

  • How can you specify which pages appear in the Android to an application version and not every existing folio?

My adobe account is configured to publish on an existing iPad app. I am trying to create an Android app, but some of the features of our iPad-designed problems do not work on various Android tablets. So I've created specific to Android folios that eliminate these features. These slips are the same dimensions as the iPad folios, however, Android applications, I create recognizes that all published as downloadable folios on this tablet (designed by iPad or Android-designed). That I don't want.

Is there a way to specify which will publish the folios of what version of the app? My research shows that I needed to create a whole new folio size and specify the size when creating my controls rendering app and setting. But of course, to do this, 'you must publish at least a folio [in size] for [this size] may appear in the context menu.» (From the page on the configuration of the refunds, a limitation which seems counterintuitive and, well, stupid).

    Thoughts?

In this case, where the sheets are the same size, you must create a separate account of publication and publish Android folios to this account. Point the viewer Android on the new account, rather than on behalf of your iPad.

"Renditions" will not help you because they depend on the size of the pixels, and you are publishing the folios of the same size for iOS and Android.

  • BIPCatalogUtil.sh export problem

    Hello

I have just installed and configured BI Publisher 11.1.1.7.0 and trying to export some reports of my catalog, so I can save them.

Me seems to have all the details of the environment and of the correct connection and the BIPCatalogUtil.sh utility connects OK but it does not find my reports in the catalog.

    Environment

    export PATH = $ORACLE_HOME/clients/bipublisher/bin: $PATH

    Export BIP_LIB_PATH = $ORACLE_HOME/clients/bipublisher/lib

    Export BIP_CLIENT_CONFIG = $ORACLE_HOME/clients/bipublisher/config

    export JAVA_HOME=/u/app/java/jdk1.6.0_18

    Order

    $ORACLE_HOME/clients/bipublisher/bin/BIPCatalogUtil.sh - exportFolder catalogpath = / + files shared/lettus/app1/beep subfolders = true excerpt = true overwrite = true basedir = / tmp/tim

    Error

[exportFolder] connect to http://dev.MyServer.com.au:9704 / xmlpserver using tdaniel

    > > Command error: exportFolder-> exportFolderContents

    > > oracle.xdo.webservice.exception.InvalidParametersException: PublicReportService::generateListOfItems failed: because of the path of the folder [/Shared files, lettus, app1, beep] does not exist!

I have reports in the folder when I connect in BI.  By default, after installation, my catalogue of BI has two main folders to which seems to be the highest level:

    + My files

    + Folders

    So I created:

    + My files

    -Shared folders

    -lettus

    -app1

    -beep

    MyReport.xdo (etc.)

My path to the folder is correct according to what I see through the browser.  Must I see in BI Publisher in the browser to map directly to a catalogpath for BIPCatalogUtil.sh?

Any ideas on what I'm missing?

    Thank you!

    Tim.

    I thought about it.

I use "/ lettus/app1/beep ' for the catalog path and it works.  Don't know why that is in the shared folder in the tool, but I've not referenced "Shared folder" anywhere.

    This one works:

    Order

    $ORACLE_HOME/clients/bipublisher/bin/BIPCatalogUtil.sh - catalogpath =beep/lettus/app1/beep subfolders exportFolder = true excerpt = true overwrite = true
    BASEDIR = / tmp/tim

The way I figured this out (should have think about that earlier) was just to extract with = catalogpath / and see what happened.  The output showed me what he saw in the catalog.

    See you soon,.

    Tim.

  • Completely appalled by Adobe

I worked for a year in order to develop an application, and it was released at the Apple Store using InDesign and DPS.  This week, I created put in replacement for Android.  I have everything configured to publish Google game.  When I went to publish using DPS I discovered that I can publish only in iOS, not Android.  I have a creative cloud subscription, which costs $56 per month. I called Adobe.  The sales guy just told me that to publish to Android I need a corporate account and the cost is $ 40,000 per year!  OMG I am a person, application development.  I don't even $40,000 a year.

This means that I have to cancel my subscription to Adobe and find another method to develop applications so I can try to make a living.

I am appalled with Adobe.  I have been using their products since 1986 and I'll stop supporting their products.  I don't teach it even more!

Can someone please suggest other software platforms for me to look at to develop applications.  I know some codes, but do not really want to fight with coding; I just want to use software that makes the coding behind the scenes and pack it so I can download to Apple and Google.  Is there a program that will take my already developed portfolios and convert into api files?

This decision by Adobe to stop supporting the DPS one user changed my career and cost me thousands of dollars.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thank you

    Deb:)

Read this thread at the end of the editing simple of DPS. All competing products and alternatives are discussed here.

Alternatively, you can submit the application of a form of consultation Adobe | Request for consultation for your specific needs. I think you can do better than the $40 K. Here's another thread that explains the new pricing what is happening with DPS?.

  • DROP TABLE performance

    Hello

could someone share advice on improving the execution time of the abandonment of the tables?

I have a blank table with more than 200 columns and it takes 23-25 s to drop. Smaller tables take something around 0.1 s of course. Problem is I have let fall from thousands of these tables and then re-create them. The recreate itself takes not more than one second.

What is the origin of more time? Is it because of an implicit validation in the drop table command?

I tried this with almost identical times noarchivelog mode. I also tried different settings and commit_logging optimizer_mode, none showed any usable results, but I'm still at the experimental stage. The goal is to minimize the execution time once I need to run the entire batch, perhaps in the course of running several sessions can work to be faster (while times are maybe longer), don't know yet.

Here is an example of output:

Translates into a decline of almost immediate table, why is this? Does this mean that the longest execution time has been only because the table has been preserved in the trash?

If correctly, I assume you're on Peoplesoft, you should try turn off the recyclebin before running the script generated by the application Designer, or purge the first recyclebin which could be huge because of the mechanism of migration of Peoplesoft.
Or probably better, in the configuration settings, tab "Alter", check "Alter in place" instead of "Alter by changing the Table name". "." The first will modify the table, to create a temporary table (fill in the former), drop the old, then rename the temporary table.

And don't forget to add crazy missing "when sqlerror exit" at the beginning of the script, otherwise you could have a very sad surprise.

Can you check the ATG/home/./... /CIM/log/CIM.log and post the error here?

Or maybe just drop the schema and try again to create.

  • IOM - reconciliation event notifications

Hello. I have a client who asks if it is possible to configure notifications to e-mail for the failure of the reconciliation events.
As much as I know IOM does not provide this functionality, and a possible solution would be to handle this via a scheduled task that reads these recon events and send notifications. Is this correct or IOM has no OoTB functionality for that.

    Thanks in advance.

    Version of IOM: 11g

IOM have OOTB functioanlity for this. You can either configure BI publisher and using the query, you can retrieve data for failed recon events and schedule the job posting this daily report to the Manager.
Or you can configure directly to schedule a task to find the recon events, as you already do.

    Kind regards

  • Typekit fonts in preview of Muse

Hi does anyone know how to see typekit in Mode Overview Muse fonts?  It would be really useful.

I looked around on the web and it doesn't seem to be a solution at present.

It's a pain to the publication to keep every time I have adjust a size or an attack.

More, after awhile the published site looks like 'broken' after several "publishes" and I have to wait until the next day to the version published browser update - I tried to empty the cache of the browser etc. and who does not.  So sad.

Muse is a great product.  I would use more, but I am cautious when using Typekit fonts until they are more 'transparent' with Muse.

    RP

    Hello

I assume you are using the workflow initiated Muse (http://museinsider.com/how-to-add-typekit-fonts-to-your-muse-site.html).

The following steps can help with local preview (file > Site overview in the browser), but not in preview mode

    1. Add 127.0.0.1 in the list separated by commas of the areas with your Typekit kit is configured. Publish your kit.

    2. When you preview the site in the browser, the URL can read something like http://158.39.223.181:33333/Preview/website-1/index.html. Replace the number preceding the colon by 127.0.0.1 (http://127.0.0.1:33333/Preview/website-1/index.html).

Please let me know if it works.

  • iOS Provisioning Portal. Help!

    Hello

I'll upload my first multi-question application to the AppStore, but I found a number of issues.

With the DPS workflow, I had no problem, but when it comes to certificates in the iOS Provisioning Portal a lot of questions have been raised.

The first problem I had is I downloaded the manual (Adobe iOS edition Companion Guide... January 31, 2013) but it was already out of date because they have changed the look of the page and there are things that do not match.

Following the steps described at best, I created the following certificates:

    -Certificate of development (.) REB +. P12)

    -Certificate distribution (.) REB +. P12)

    -Development mobilprovision

    -Mobilprovision distribution

I also have Push certificates (because I want to add new publications of the app in the next few weeks and I would like to inform people):

    -Aps development.p12

    -Aps production.p12

After all this, I created the application with the application Builder of DPS.

The first problem I had was the Push certificate 'aps_development.p12' failed. It breaks down and I don't know why.

Without adding the push option, I could finish the process, download and try out on my iPad App. It works and I can add publications.

My questions, not to mention the problem with the "aps_development.p12" are:

-For the application next to several question that I create, do I have to recreate all the certificates or only some of them?

-In the iOS Provisioning Portal, I had to also create an iOS App ID, this ID App has anything to do with the product ID that is configured to publish a Folio?  What do I need to create one for each publication that goes inside the app, or just one for the issuance of the multi-app?

I would appreciate your help as I need to publish this app on the App Store as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Thanks for responding.

It wasn't the problem. In the end, I managed that a technical service man call me and connected to my computer remotely.

Finally, I was able to solve my doubts.

    Thanks New Delhi!

  • Flash site that includes a flash drive

We received a flash site in a record that includes a drive on the inside as well as a .exe. (included in a picture in this post - these are called 'start' and 'start.exe').

We wonder how we can do the same with a website flash, we have designed so that the customer can receive a DVD or CD-Rom (or the directory itself) and open it from there because it includes the drive inside.

Our question is - how is this done?

    Thank you

P.S. by the way - what's the .exe for? (we use Mac only - it will be used instead of "start" when you use a PC)?

    flash_site.jpg

I don't know much about Macs except that I believe a .exe is the equivalent of PC to a .app of Mac as you thought.

I don't know what you call a player, but I don't see one with the exception of a javascript file named checkPlayer.js (would most likely be used for the html page).

What I imagine is that the start file is the main file you are using, and he calls in various .swf files that appear to be a site with various sections.

Exe/app files could be considered in the drive of files as each is a file autonomous, able to play on a computer without the need of Flash player.  So if you have created a site you may have the boot file of the vehicle to see to whom you have sent all of the files.

So for OTN do you the same thing, you take any fla file you used the main file of your site and in the publication settings configured to publish a projector to win and a Mac projector of this file.

  • Beginner Flash... Insert SWF into the web page and create the 'play' button

I try inserting and SWF in my Web page.  I have 3 problems, 1. I'm new to Flash and are not at all good at it yet. 2. how to say stop at the end of the sequence and insert a new button "play"?  3. what should I do to put on my Web page.

I know that these aren't the answers Yes or no, if I appreciate even to pronounce on the best way to learn Flash for me.

    2. it can depend, but ENCs, you are probably using the timeline, very probably, that you just need to put a stop(); command in the last image to stop at the end.

    To play again, your power button code must understand something like: gotoAndPlay (1);

How the button code is depends on which version of Actionscript using your file.

    3. When you publish your swf file, I also Flash publish an html file (configure you publishing settings).  You can then take this html file and copy the embed code that it contains your page file html web.  You will have to perhaps include a javascript file, as well to make it work, and you can say that looking at the head of the HTML code Flash created... that code head must also go to your page file web html and the javascript file must be placed according to how your html code targets there.

You might do better just to get the html page that Flash creates working first for you.  He could find how to move into your web page more easy.

My opinion: the best way to learn Flash for yourself is to simply dig in and keep him home.  You will lose hair, sleep and your mind as you will, but eventually, you get used to that or you defeat.
