Configure task tasks simultaneous/queue of customer?

At this moment I can highlight several virtual machines and perform an operation on them (for example, to migrate Dastores or Suspend / Power On), but the tasks all run them simultaneously, which really hurts performance (all LUN SAN FC thrashes for a stop and users start to complain). In extreme cases the tasks even begin to expire and fail.

Is there a setting in the Client that will force it to occur in the order of the tasks (e.g., a depth of 1 queue)? Currently I'm right click on each of the 373 MV one by one and wait for everyone in the end, who is getting old fast.

Not that I'm aware of use the vSphere Client, there is a maximum for each type of operation that is defined in the maximum Configuration of vSphere for vCenter or ESX (i).

Although the only way to create a queue is through a script approach where you can either kickoff n-tasks and wait to send more, or perform a sequential operation.

All the tasks in a rejected State are listed in the table of ITO. Also on standby and waiting are here, but you can query to simply rejected. Then you can either start over in bulk

    retryTasks (long [] taskInstanceKeys)

or try one at a time

    retryTask (long plTaskInstanceKey

  • How to configure Task Scheduler to run the program when the connection is established

I want to use the Windows 7 Task Scheduler to run a program IMMEDIATELY AFTER a dial-up connection is made to the internet.

How can I configure the Task Scheduler in Windows 7 to do this, please?

I am familiar with the Scheduler of tasks with the command line parameters.  Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

FYI: If an example is needed, Microsoft Security Essentials can be configured to update virus through this path with the argument definitions:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Essentials/MpCmdRun.exe SignatureUpdate

Maybe someone can use it to show how to configure the Windows 7 Task Scheduler to update MSE virus definitions, once the connection dial-up was made?

Otherwise, for example, another program to run once established a dial-up connection would be OK, thanks

    Hello

Scheduler of tasks is time driven.

For order-driven event, you need a script.

Question like that is much better treated in the TechNet IT Pro Forums.

    #1. Oracle WebCenter content personalized WLST orders - 11 g Release 1 (10.3.6)

Yes, this can be set via WLST, but I don't know if the change will be written in the cfg file. You can use the manipulation of file to change this value.

    #2. See #1

#3. Don't believe there's a WLST for this, but you can use the file manipulation technique that I mentioned.

  • How to assign a task more than a custom scale

    Hello

the subject must say all this. I read in the data of two transducers on two separate analog input channels. The two transducers are calibrated and I want to process the data in its units nationwide. That's why I used the "DAQmx create Scale.vi" to define the slope, the name of the scale and the yintersection and so on. "" However, when I attribute the scale to the 'DAQmx create Channel.vi' I do not see how to apply the two scales to one of the tasks.

I would be very grateful for some advice. Your comments are appreciated!

    Manual

You can use two different functions of DAQmx Create Channel. One for each. Just thread the task from one task to the other.

  • Update the task details in the customer web vCenter

I'm getting started with vCenter Orchestrator sorry if this is a frequently asked question.  Is it possible that a vCO workflow can influence the State of the task when called in vCenter?  I'm developing a workflow that is a combination of several other workflows.  It would be useful for people who start the workflow as a task from the web client to vCenter to be able to see that, secondary workflows, the task is currently running.

    Thank you

    Andrew

There are in fact! For each element of your workflow, see the 'Info' tab, if there is a checkbox "Status Business", place a check in there and then in the text box, put what you want your user to see...

Then, in the vSphere Web Client, while monitoring the execution of workflow, you will see this status of company in brackets:

  • a node property to return the configuration of the task a DAQmx

Tasks in this project are preconfigured in MAX, but once the operator needed to enter and change the sampling frequency, that I would like to add a routine to start to check the sampling rate of the configured tasks. I know that using a DAQmx property node can return task names and channel names, but what I could use is a property node to return the sampling frequency of the task. A knowledge of a way to do this?

If you place a property on the block schema node, connect it to your task control. Right-click on the property node, and then select the DAQmx Timing (class select DAQmx-> DAQmx Timing). Then select the sample-Rate property > clock.

  • High sampling rate for 18 strings in a single task - DAQmx

    Hello

My current experiences require the acquisition of 18 channels (6 HAVE custom voltage with excitement, voltage AI 12) data at a sampling frequency of 50 kHz. My question is if it is faesible using a single cDAQ-9172 chassis. Used modules are 2 x NI 9237 and 4 x NI 9215.

The previous researcher on this project used 2 different Renault to do this, but I was hoping that I could reduce it to a single DAQ to simplify the synchronization of all channels.

I wrote a *.vi (attached) to do this and write to a TDMS file using a structure of producer-consumer; However, when I run the * .vi, I can run for minutes, but the number of samples recorded for the PDM is rarely more than 100 k. Subsequently a buffer size error (attempted to read from the samples that have been overwritten) with less than 200 k samples ever record. I checked the max sampling rate (using a property timing node) with the configured task as in the * .vi and it shows a maximum of 235kHz.

I can't say if I make just the structure of the producer consumer incorrectly or if I ask too much of the cDAQ-9172 unique?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    See you soon

    Bart

    Hi bart.s,

TiTou speaks sampling aggregate not simultaneous, so sampling rate 50kS/s is the same for all channels.

I see the problem in the loop of the producer. If your sampling frequency is 50kS/s/ch and you read that a single sample/ch you will lose data because the producer loop cannot run so fast. You should read more than one sample. I recommend you also to move your tracing to the consumption loop code and work with larger amounts of data.

The second problem may be with the error handling in your loop of consumer. Merge the mistakes of loop of consumer and producer and also add a few general for two loops off if the error occurs (for example, using local variable).

  • Customize the process task notification

Our goal is to send a notification to the Group of users (members of a role) when a Siebel account is created successfully.
To accomplish this, we used the functionality inherited from IOM to send a notification as follows:
-create a definition of custom Type of enamel = "Provisioning related" using OIM Design Console - Process Management - Email definition
-Add the definition of email above to the configuration task using the Console Design IOM - process management - definition of the process - process of Siebel - tasks - create user - Notification

This works as expected except the following questions:
    1. the definition of the enamel contains more than one field of type Date, which are displayed in the English format (e.g. June 8, 2012) we would like to analyze the date values in a different format (for example, 2012-06-08).
We have already tried to change the attributes of definition Email language/region values ' en / U.S. ' ' it/IT', but the notification stops to send until go back us to the original values "en / U.S.; is this a know bug or a configuration of miss?
In all cases, the language/region is related to the date format?

    2. a few values of attributes in the definition of e-mail must be "transformed."

Any suggestion how to solve these problems?

As a solution, we have coded a Java Plugin that sends notifications (in this case, we can write the content of the e-mail, as we hope) by e-mail and relax this Plugin by a manager of events, but only for events associated with the user of the IOM (CRETE/CHANGE/DELETE/etc...); We have no idea how to trigger the same Plugin/event manager for Siebel events into account. Is this possible? How?

    Thank you and best regards,
    Gabriele.

    Hello

Create a new task in process called Notify. Fix a process task adapter that has the java code to send the required notifications.

Seibel Create User task--> answers tab-> > select the success of rest--> in the generate tasks to add the new task of Notify.

    No plugin is required here.

  • HP Thinpro: Can I create a rule task which will not reboot the workstation if the write filter is activated?

I am trying to send a rule HPDM task that synchronizes the system clock to an NTP server every day at a specific time. With Scripture filter off it works fine, but with it enabled system restart to commit the filter. I don't want to restart (I'm fine with the change being lost during the next restart) but I do not see where to put this option. When you send a manual task, I can choose to send little matter the State of the write filter. Is it possible to do this for a rule task?

    Thank you

    Dave

HPDM a global setting (default settings applied to the rule task and manual task) and the task parameter (the one you saw when you sent the job, applied to a manual task only) to work with tasks.

You can find a global setting through tools-> Configuration-> task settings

Please note: once you have changed the global setting, all tasks (include the manual task) will be default use this configuration unless you specify one in each task editor dialog box.
