  The BIOS is your only option, the operating system can't help you because it is not aware of the world until it starts.  This is what is for, the BIOS at startup of the operating system.

  BIOS is basically your only choice, but given that you don't have it, you're kind of stuck.

  Why not try the waking state?  Windows 7 has sleep very reliable performance.

  Hi, I'm trying to implement a system which measures the voltage and current for a source variable voltage at variable temperature. The program acquires 5 pairs of voltage and current data. The problem here is that the source voltage is changed by manually changing the value of the variable resistor. What I want to do, it's somehow pause program automatically once the loop (to acquire 5 V and I data pairs) is over.   Sam put you on the right track.  You certainly do not need while loops inside while loops.

  You can accomplish what you want to do with a while loop, a structure of matter and structure of the event.  The while loop is the external structure of most.  Inside it, you have the structure case controlling the State in which you are.  Inside of a State, you have a structure of the event.  The structure of the event will want to have an event for the stop button and the Start button, but also a timeout.  You'll want to browse your measurements with the help of a State, or of States according to the duration of your measure.

  Thanks for posting. You can check the updates installed from the Add/Remove Programs window in Control Panel. There will be a box at the top where you can check to view installed updates. There are also third-party programs available that will do the same.

• Updates not configured correctly restore changes (stays on and will not shut down)

  When I turn on my computer laptop windows vista, the screen «updates not configured...» "stays on and won't. Seriously, I was sitting there for five hours, trying to make it disappear. I tried to reboot in safe mode, last known good configuration etc. I don't have a Windows Vista disc, but I really need all the files on the computer for school work. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, it's almost time review and I would be devastated to lose all my tickets!

  What happened when you try to start in safe mode?

  Method 1
  I suggest to disconnect all external devices except the mouse and keyboard and check if you are able to boot to the desktop.

  Method 2
  You need Windows vista disk inorder to continue further troubleshooting. If you use a computer Original equipment manufacturer (OEM), I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of your computer for Windows Vista disc. Once you get the Windows Vista installation disc, you can try the steps from the following link.

Symptoms is the cursor turns into auto-scroll to move the only mouse will scroll the pages upwards or downwards.   I understand that your system stops automatically hibernation mode. We will work together and try a few steps to solve this problem.

  I suggest you to turn off the Hibernation of the control panel settings mode and check if the system shuts down normally. Please, try the following methods and verify if they are useful.

  Method 1:

  Disable hibernation:

  (a) press the Windows key + X, click Power Options.

  (b) in the window Power Options, in the left pane, click the option of choose what the power buttons .

  (c) click change settings that are currently unavailable to the top.

  (d) once done, under the stop settings section, uncheck Hibernate .

  (e) click on save changes to allow the changes to take effect.

  (f) restart the system and check if the problem persists.

  If the problem persists, try the following method.

  Method 2:

  Disable hybrid sleep and check if it helps:

  (a) press the Windows key + X, click Power Options.

  (b) in the Power Options window, click change plan settings for the power option currently selected.

  (c) in the Edit Plan settings window, click on the link change advanced power settings .

  I have the design of textbooks and convert to ePub recomposable, broke up. These ePub files get formatted then can be used interchangeably on the printed text. A book that I am currently in conversion is a literature book where there are lines of text with the overall line numbers so that teachers can quickly refer to a specific section of the text.

  All the line breaks in the ID file are defined just by the edge of the text box. So the text box change sizes, all line breaks would also change. Isn't a problem until you need to keep these online breeze in recomposable text and add up the numbers in.

  
  What I'm looking for is a way to insert automatically the line breaks in these LONG sections of text in the right places. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do that?

  Using Adobe Muse CC 2015 on a Mac, I created a Web page for my company (www.unafilm.de).  I used a horizontal menu in the master page to the layout of the pages of the subsites (news, movies, about, contact, etc.) to visitors. Everything works well except a menu items which is supposed to display an another 25 points / subpages.  They expand nicely, but I can show all because the height of the page does not take into account the length of the drop-down list. So, I can only see subpages on this particular menu point that allows at the height of the page. The page does not extend and I can also not scroll down.  No idea why? Thanks in advance.

  Is nothing, that you can change. It is simply how browsers work. Unless you want to annoy your customers with a browser window resizing script (bad idea), the window is not adapt. 25 menu entries using is perhaps not the best idea at first, anyway.

  OK and I think v1.1 solves this problem. Testing, sorry, more tests can prove me wrong. The array must be initialized in the body of a function, otherwise, it gets recreated in each call to the script object. So I created a form (aka the global variable) variable to contain the initial data. With each release, event, I added a call to a function called checkData() that validates the entered value (either selected in the drop-down list or a custom text entry) does not exist.

  I am adding new values to the form variable and recreate the table of the form variable. This works very well for this use case, but I would discourage that adopting a form with several drop-down lists and/or a lot of data related to each dropdpown. You should really use data binding and put the processing on the server.

  • Because the initialization event again fills the drop-down list with the default Larry, Curly, Moe, the drop-down list loses 'tailor-made' entries on the reopening of the PDF file.   This really requires a server solution or a rights compatible form that allows client-side XML import/export.
