  I just downloaded and installed ODI. I wanted to create the master repository in Sql Server 2005 (service Pack2). I gave the following string for SqlServer: / / < servername >: 1433; selectMethod = cursor; databaseName = odimaster; integratedSecurity = false. I also entered a valid user name and password. Apart from that, I copied the sqlJdbc.jar file in the OraHome_1\oracledi\drivers directory.

  Hello Amol,

  If you are using the same connection details like when you configure the repository but simply by changing the name of the base, then in theory this should work.
  It gives you the same message if test you for other databases.
  How you start the topology are managing in the start menu?

• FTPS (ftp over ssl) to the master repository connection. HPDM

  I'm trying to configure the MR for FTPS (ftp with ssl). When I test the connection in the repository editor he fails to connect with the current FTP connection. The shared connection is successful.

  I can successfully connect with the Filezilla client for the FTP site.

  The Filezilla give a warning of a certificate not signed, when I click ok it is properly connected.

  Configuration information:

  Site - FTP is hosted on hpdm (2012 R2 server) with IIS server.

  Can someone tell me how to configure the repository Editor to connect to the ftp site?

  HPDM wants you to use port 990 for ftps and not 21.

• Repository of MUD - cannot retrieve a project

  Hi all

  I configured the repository of the MUD. I took the previous developer and have never worked on it, so I don't know how it has been configured.

  Now I have to work on that and I cannot perform checkout (multi-user > Checkout). I received a message "repository does contain not all projects.

  I'm sure it should work like this, because when I open it offline, it can be read only (I assume that it is sufficient to say that it is configured for MUD, is that correct? )

  Everyone met such a problem? No idea how can I work on it with mud?

  You must open your master SPR of MUD in offline mode (not read-only)... then Yes, take a copy of your master of MUD on your open office - define your projects, then copy it over the original master of MUD - or if you want to "Worlds away", Archives of the original master of MUD; Name your new on a little differently, and then save it to your folder of MUD.

  ODI 11 g (11.1.1) with Database 11g r2
  
  I created the Master repository (odimrep) and
  repository (odiwrep) of work, created from topology
  Before the next step, during this time I was able to connect to connect to the repository of work and able to do all the work
  
  
  
  I then created the repository of topology (odierep) running, successfully created.
  After that, I could not able to connect to the repository, work, I get the following error message

  It shouldn't really create any problem, if you create a working repository two differenct IDs. But the error messages you gave says, it's something to do with the repository IDs. Usually, we get this message when trying to migrate the code ODI within environments. However, it does not rise as an error message, just gives information and asks us if we want to save the new code repository work. We just need to say Yes and continue.
  I suggest to all again, re-create repositories again. Maybe something went wrong when creating repositories.

  Yes, by default, Weblogic Server DO NOT need any RCU (repository creation utility) to download or install. On WLS, you can deploy J2EE applications developed with the Eclipse IDE or JDeveloper. If you want to use Fusion middleware components and to develop Fusion applications, then you need this RCU installed and configured. Some components of the merger are like WebCenter, IdentityManagement, SingleSignOn, SOA, WebCenter Portlets etc.

  1. If you use FusionMiddleware or SOA Suite, it is necessary to install the regional coordination unit.
  2 RCU is nothing else than to the database scripts to create ets tables to store information for SOA/BPEL stuff.

• Getting error when installing repository creation utility (RCU).

  During the installation of the remote control, I was getting the Error Invalid Username/password on the database connection details screen when I give a Userid sys. on the database connection details screen, I tried to login with the user sys but failed so I used the user of the system, and it connects.
  Then on screen components, I was getting the error below.

  The RPM of PHP Oracle is now included in Unbreakable Linux Network, so you can install it using up2date on Oracle Enterprise Linux server. You must subscribe to the chain of "addons" for this.

• How to configure the browser Processflow

  I installed OWB 10.2 successfully and configured the repository on that, later, I installed the OWF2.6.3 and configured that too for the process flow. I am able to run the process flow and everything works fine. the only thing that I was not able to do so far is to set up the browser to stream process, where I can see the progress of process flow and we can accelerate if necessary,
  
  I'm trying to get help on the NET but no use, please help me with some resources that I can use to configure this browser PF

  Hello

  Why have you installed OWF 2.6.3? You must have UAS 2.6.4 for OWB 10 g R2.

  Here are the steps for a correct installation:
  1.) install Oracle Workflow Server (CD Companion: products)
  2.) configure Workflow Server (see installation guide)
  3.) install Oracle Workflow Middle Server (from companion CD companion products)
  4.) UAS-critics make a user to owb.

  Seek to create process flow of additional information.

• Oracle DB 11 g 2 controls prerequisites failure (packages) - Oracle Linux 6.5

  Once again stuck with questions during the installation of 11 GR 2 DB.

  I had a problem of size of Swap which are now resolved.

  The Universal Installer now says that some packages are missing.

  My package files are up-to-date, I used the commands below to check it.

  1. SH - 4.1 # cd /etc/yum.repos.dExpected value: libstdc ++-3.4.6 (i386)
     Real value: missing
     SH - 4.1 # rm-f *.
     SH - 4.1 # wget http://public-yum.oracle.com/public-yum-ol6.repo
     SH - 4.1 # yum clean all the
     SH - 4.1 # yum makecache
     SH - 4.1 # yum update

  I checked using the comand bellows

  SH - 4.1 # yum install compat-libstdc ++ - 33 - 3.2.3 *.

  Setting up installation

  Now how the version (i386)?

  What follows will make all the necessary software, changes to the kernel and configuration account oracle for you, provided you access Internet access and/or configured accordingly - yum repository configuration file which seems to be the case:

  Su - root

  yum-y installoracle-rdbms-server-11gR2-preinstall

  If the installation is successful, and there are still warnings of the Oracle Universal Installer, simply click the checkbox ignore and everything should be good. Oracle 11 g 2 is too old to see on Oracle Linux 6.5, system libraries are moving too, but are always compatible.
