• Confused on iTunes files

  In my iTunes folder on my iMac, I have some confusing subfolders.

  In my iTunes folder Music under my user name, in addition to my music folder where most of my music is stored, I also shows the following as I dig:

  I don't know why there are a few records artist on the right. They include only a few titles in these files.

  Among other things, it shows a Unknow Album folder. This folder has more than 300 titles, for the most part, identified by numbers, not names. I can click on them to hear each track, but I would just delete them. I suspect that these are several tracks for some reason any. Is it safe to delete all of these numbered tracks?

  No!  Do not delete them.  They are probably not duplicates.

  When you add titles to iTunes normally, iTunes creates records artist and Album according to the tags embedded in the track.  If the tags are missing, iTunes uses "Unknown artist" and "Unknown Album."

  I found this script that works great with iTunes automatically duplicates deleting. Something that I had wanted for a long time.

  I use Lion with the older version of ITunes, so I really need this script to work.

  It is an import script that helps me sync my music library to my home office with my nightclub iTunes library.   The only problem I have with this script is that it does not keep this last recorded double track.  I want to keep the last tracks because sometimes I replace a track with a better record of video or audio clip.  I would like to change this script to just base duplicates on the artist, Album artist, and name.   I hope that someone with apple great capabilities of script can check the script and help me adjust.  I tried to contact Randolf who created the script, but he did not.   Here is his magnificent scenario.   I'm sure that many people will find this useful.   I hope someone can help me.  I am very limited in my applescripting.

  OK, first of all, I was a Match iTunes and subscribe Apple music, but before not to renew iTunes game, I asked and he said that if I keep my subscription to Apple's music, I would not lose my iCloud library.

I think that the information and the difference between the two services is not well explained, and now I think I'm losing all my songs matching (and many of them is not the access point) if I knew that I would lose all my music matching, I would never opt-out Match, but I read several article about it and they all said that I keep my current AP I will not use my corresponding music and everything what I lose is free of DRM.

  So, is anybody here had this problem before and there at - it a way to get my songs back?

  Connect the phone to iTunes on the computer that you sync with and click the music option. Uncheck the option "Sync music" and sync. This will delete all music from your device.

  Then go back to the music option and select what you don't want sync'd music on your device.

  you select duplicates. Just change of

  This will select everyring but duplicates. However, it is not effective. All you need is:

  3. on the original layer change fill to zero

  4 put the underlying layer in a new group

  5. Add a mask to regroup and paint as you wish

  With regard to questions 2 and 4: iTunes does not automatically "load" all the files in the folders.  You can do an analysis of initial unique optional optional when you install iTunes, which will add all are compatible files in the iTunes library.  After that, files not added unless you take action to add.

  How can I duplicate an existing selection into a single folder so I can have the same playlist in another folder where it does not yet exist?  Example: I have a playlist called 'My favorites of Flamenco' in a folder called 'World Music '.   I don't think that there is some other way to make a new playlist where you want an addition to the content from one to the other.  If you want the new playlist are kept synchronized with each other, you can make a smart playlist containing the content of the first playlist.
