  I used all-in-one HP Photosmart 2610 for years without change. Now everything is print spooling with non-descript "error" when it is in the queue. I can print the test page for the utility and I can print via the usb connection to my laptop which has supposedly the same software and updates. I uninstalled and reloaded the software updated and get a message that the software has been installed successfully. Install HP works OK and the dashboard widgit working to show supplies. But the printer in the printer/Fax preferences poster "information not available" when I check for supply levels.

These components will not be loaded and some features related to your device cannot be accessed ".» I downloaded the latest version of the software and reinstalled my original software CD and cannot always my computer to print.

  Your printer needs to have an ethernet port in the back, where you can connect a LAN cable. You will need to connect a LAN cable to a free port on your current modem on the back of the printer - this should establish an internet connection.
