Connect a Toshiba TDP - T8 (projector) to a Satellite Pro P100 PSPA4E

Can someone advise have installed the NVidia driver but without success.

Asked Toshiba Tech support no better.
Advised to visit their help center projector (£1.50 / min) needless complete waste of guy money knew less than me.

Purchased two items at the same time, but are completely incompatible or so it seems, what should I do.
Toshiba seem to be incapable of any suitable option!

Any one out there can help please.

Hello

As far as I know the Satellite Pro P100 support the
-Port VGA (monitor)
This 15 port pins you allows to connect an external video monitor to the computer

-Port DVI (monitor), this is optional and not supported by all Satellite Pro P100
This port allows you to connect an external video monitor to the computer via a DVIcable

-S-video output port TV
This s-video out port allows you to connect a TV to cable s-video computer vista 4 pins.
This port returns the NTSC or PAL signal.

I put t know what port/cable from the projector supports, but generally, it should be possible to connect this projector to the VGA or DVI port.

Good bye

    How can I do?

We have a Sat.Pro P100 on our boat for navigation (and movies on the night watch) with the monitor above the deck. And exactly what it should achieve Fn + F5? Some of the answers as soon as possible as we sail supposedly tomorrow. Thank you, Sue

    Hello

the maximum resolution of your screen is 1024 x 768, so then the connection from the screen to your machine and power on it then you should get a picture on the external display.
Maybe you have to push this button of automatic setting on your screen when the power. And if you can not get a picture at the start, it must at least be able to switch the screen with this FN + F5 combination when you reach the windows desktop (this key combination is to switch between the internal/external screen). Otherwise, you can also try to switch to the screen by clicking to the right on your desktop, then click on 'Properties', select the 'Settings' tab, then activating it the external display.

Please try and give feedback if it worked.

  • Satellite Pro P100: losing picture on external monitor when using the DVI - D connection

    Guys,

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 940MW LCD TV and a Satellite Pro P100 (Geforce Go 7600), recently I bought a DVI - D cable to link them together.

Now the problem is that when I connected to 1400 x 900 LCD TV screen goes to a black screen several times (usually when there is a lot of activity or I'm resizing windows to the maximum to the minimum).

Now, I would have thought it would be the LCD TV doesn't do not signal or refresh rate however I connected using a VGA cable and its fine - no problem just no matter how much I minimize my windows or put a lot of activity on the screen. To complicate matters even more, when I run the screens in "Dual screen" mode instead of "Clone" if I put one of them 1400 x 900 to 59hz in 16 bit it works fine...?

Can someone help please that it made my head that I can't understand what the hell is the cause!

I've included a list below all the different resolutions / screen modes I tried it and the result.

Thanks for your time & help.

    Hello

I hope that you have enabled user s manual supplied with your device. On page 148, you will find a very interesting picture on the supported display resolution.

I have to be honest with you and say that I am no expert DVI because my LCD doesn't have this port, just HDMI but if I have understood you as soon as you have problem with a resolution of 1440 x 900 only. This resolution is not listed as supported, and I presume that it is not unusual to have a problem.

Sorry, but I think that you should use maximum supported only resolution 1280 x 1024.

  • Satellite Pro P100 - unable to connect to Internet via LAN

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro P100. Model no SPSA4A-005002

I used my recovery disc and erased from my computer, because of a virus and now I can't connect to internet via cable but my wireless internet works perfectly.
Its quite dead there is no lights on the back of the laptop where I plug in the cable.

    Hello

Your network card is properly recognized in Device Manager?
In your case, I would try to update the LAN driver. You can get the latest version here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

In addition, you check the version of the BIOS. The most recent version must be installed and load default settings here.

In the worst case, it s only a hardware problem and must exchange the motherboard together :(

  • Drivers Toshiba for Windows XP Home edition and VISTA fpr a Satellite Pro P100 - PSPAH

    Hello.

I need help. I bought a Satellite pro P100 - PSPAH with Vista Premium Home edition version of recovery. Now, I want to install a second operating system such as Windows XP Home edition on this laptop. The problem is that Windows XP Home edition did not find 3 drivers. For sound, LAN and another device. For this reason I update my notebook with the latest chipset drivers, but the problem is still there. Vista now has problems with the drivers, too. I can't find the special driver on toshiba home page.

    Jens MFG

    Hello

I understand your problem at the moment that I also prefer XP instead of Vista operating system.
Vista needs simply too many resources for laptop and all applications and 3rd devices are not 100% supported by Vista.

But what say man seems to find compatible drivers on chip manufacturing sites.
Download and install a tool called Everest or other similar hardware diagnostic tool and try to find out what LAN and sound chips are used in your laptop!
Then, you can search drivers Intel, Realtek, etc... pages

You know the website driver Toshiba Canada?
    http://209.167.114.38/support/download/ln_byModel.asp

There you will find also some Pro P100 series. Try these drivers. It's worth a try.

  • How to connect the Satellite Pro P100 to Hifi

I've got Satellite Pro P100. How to connect this laptop to stereo
It's probably easy, but what I can say... Call me stupid.

I have head that comes out of the headphone jack, it connects to my friendly hifi.
Ill be there is a unpleasant hissing in the background. Trying to hook up my boys in head mp3 player, and that works very well.

Any chance of some help... Thank you

    Hello

To my knowledge, you can connect the satellite Pro P100 to HiFi only via a cable 2 RCA Audio Y adapter. To my knowledge the laptop doesn't support the S/PDIF audio output so you only to use an analog audio port.

You can also buy a stereo adapter with 2 x cinch sockets to connect the laptop to the stereo. This card can be plugged into the headset jack

    Check this box:
    Stereo adapter

I think you should visit the nearest dealer of portable. It can show you the right and taken in charge of cables and adapters.

  • Satellite Pro P100: Can which digital cable I use to connect the stereo

I just bought a new P100 and think generally that it's great.

However, if I plug it into my stereo via the headphone to the front of the computer, then it is very noisy. I read somewhere in the manual that this Jack is used also in digital form - weird! Is there a way to transform digital or I'd be better connection on my external (stereo only) DAC. If this option is ideal so what cable should I - nothing about this in the manual or on the Tosh site. I use a stereo plug for cable twin phono right now.

Any advice from someone who has connected to their own hifi would be appreciated.

    Bill Mac

    Hello

The headphone jack offers the possibility to S/PDIF which allows to connect the laptop to the hifi on digital channel.
You need a simple cable S\PDIF. This cable you can get from each computer/laptop.

Simply visit this dealer and ask for this kind of cable

By the way: try to disable the option of its virtual when the laptop is connected to the stereo

    Hello

I m not 100% sure if this might help you, but I noticed a similar problem on the Tecra M4 anchored to the multiple dock Tablet.
The update of the BIOS helped solve this problem.

In addition, an update of the graphics card driver would be desirable.

  • Satellite Pro C850-15 q - failed to connect to projector

    Hello world

I'm unable to connect a Toshiba Satellite Pro C850-15 q Part No.: PSKC9E-01JOOHEN to a projector, laptop computer does not wish to duplicate the screen for the projector.

The laptop worked without any problem with a spotlight for months, but its only today that it is unable to connect to a projector via a VGA cable.

So far, I have tried to use the laptop on different different projectors, but will not work on any.
I have used different VGA cables, uninstalled the driver display and then reinstalled the latest driver, updated chipset and bios but nothing seems to work.

Physically, the VGA port seems fine, I tried to project using FN + F4 and the windows key + P, the two options do not work. I have also a right-click on the desktop, properties, all the eyes of correct parameters, also sought to graphics options right click again this sounds all very well.

The laptop is running windows 7 32 bit.

Suggestions as to what to try next?

    Thank you
    Darren.

    Hello

What exactly happens when you press Fn + F4 (or only F4)?
    Other function keys work correctly?

The laptop seems to also support the exit HDMI port.
Are you able to connect the laptop to an external monitor and the output video using the F4 function key?

  • Cannot connect by Satellite Pro projector if more than 3-4 m cable

We have several laptops - and we have never had any problems that they might know an external projector.
The length of the cable is normally around 10 m.

Our Toshiba Satellite Pro laptops can only connect to an external projector if the cable length is less than 3 to 4 meters.

    What shall we do?

    Hello

    > Our Toshiba Satellite Pro laptops can only connect to an external projector if the cable length is less than 3 to 4 meters.
It seems that the video signal is too weak and he cannot reach the appliance connected to the end of the cable.

I found this info useful on this page that explains this behavior:

+ A normal PC, notebook or tablet PC VGA signal is not designed to operate on long cable runs. +
+ You can find only one kind of PC or laptop will work with a long cable to projector, and another type of PC or laptop may not work. +
+ However, this does not mean that the second computer is down. +

    http://www.RM.com/support/TechnicalArticle.asp?CREF=TEC333092

    _Solution: _
The VGA signal must be amplified before it can be sent to the bottom of a long cable. These symptoms are all indicative of weak signal problems (or bad wiring).
You should always use an amplifier VGA (active), Terminal VGA box (active) or a switching VGA (active) unit when you use along the VGA cables

  • Satellite Pro L300-152 - unable to connect to TV, projector or a external monitor

    Hello
    Peuvent some please help?

I bought a Satellite Pro L300-152, model without PSLB1E-01R015EN with Vista 32 bit a few months ago to replace an old Toshiba laptop not.

The problem I have is that I can't connect external devices such as TV, projector, or a monitor.
I used another laptop in the past with my TV and projector and have had no problems at all. I connected via the VGA port, as it is the only port with the exception of USB. Using a VGA cable, I tried all the settings that I have used in the past, but with no joy.
I did the setting in the display settings and the FN + F5, but nothing comes up on the external screens except no signal.

I tried to solve this problem for months and need help, please.

As much as I know at this time the European Toshiba page provides the version of 1, 50 - WIN update of the BIOS for this model of laptop.

  • Satellite Pro U400 Win 7: flashing projector connected to Dynadock U10

I have a number of Dynadocks U10 and Toshiba Satellite Pro U400 laptops.

They are used to allow our teachers to move from one room to the other without having to connect and disconnect several cables. We use a vga connection to a projector for the external monitor.
Everything worked pretty well until we put Win 7 on laptops.

Now, at random intervals, the external monitor will blink.
I tried the most up to date drivers and software found elsewhere in these forums.
If I plug the projector directly into the laptop, the flashing stops.

Can someone please help avoid losing me my mind completely.

    Thank you.

    > If I plug the projector directly into the laptop, the flashing stops.

I think it means that the VGA of Dynadock pilot must be upgraded to Win 7 compatible version.
There is nothing wrong in using a direct connection to the laptop, so I think there must be a problem with the driver Dynadock.

The latest Dynadock graphics card drivers can be found here:

  • Satellite Pro L300D started crashing when you are connected to the projector

Hi all, I have a Satellite Pro L300D, have since January. In March of this year, it developed a problem.
He began to turn the power on and off screen until I got the blue screen of death and had to reboot the laptop, also BIOS crashed. He was sent to Toshiba and got sorted.

I use the laptop in the Church for the presentation to the powerpoint, we use a projector that connects to the video output on the laptop, but it has now begun to crash whenever I connect the projector to your laptop.

Can I use the powerpoint, switch to the view of presenters and show the presentation of 30 minutes, then the screen goes black for about a second, the laptop and the projector off, then when they come again, I get a message saying that the display driver has been restarted, little after that the screen turns off, and then market / stop about six times before that I get the BSOD.

Also, if I show a clip AVI or video during the presentation, it will crash soon after or even before its done.

Have updated the drivers for laptop, I always get a message stating all the drivers are up to date and I am quite at a loss to know what to do next.

To be honest, I'm so fed up with it that I am almost to the point of buying an Apple Mac Pro and away from Windows-based computers all together, my friends have macs and they never have any problem.

Someone at - it an idea on what could be the problem?

    RGS
    James

    Hello James

Can you please tell me what mode you are using for the presentation?
Is that what this duplication mode (the same image on the LCD screen and the external device) or something else?
Do you have problems if you use the single external device (LCD screen is OFF)?

Movie files can be problematic if you run on laptops LCD and try to switch to the external display while the movie is running.
