Hello

Please select a good connection to your equipment (computer, printer) existing and set up this way by using the instructions in the next book. You definiteley need drivers for both computers before you try anything. Check the CD that comes with the printer.

I have a laptop (compaq) running vista, wireless to a PC running XP with a connected printer. It's weird but I see the network, I see the pc and search for posting a link to a printer shows all available printers on the laptop (that I want to) when I try to link to it on the laptop message appears saying 'Windows denied access. Looks like that you share the printer in the XP box. Did you also install printer Vista drivers for this printer on Vista computer? If this isn't the case, you need to do.

I'm just trying to set up my new printer Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless.  I got to the step of installing the software, but there seems to be no cable supplied to connect the printer to my computer.

I can't currently connect via radio that I expect a new wireless router be delivered.  Is this the way onlt connection other than buying a separate USB or Ethernet cable?

    Help, please.

Ethernet and USB cables are not usually provided with most of the printers that you need to choose a cable with a length of favourabel to you. You can go to a hardware/computer store and buy a USB A-to-B cable. I'll post a picture of the end of cable just to clear any confusion.

  • I installed a driver for my printer Hp Officejet Pro L7380. How to connect the printer to the computer that works with windows vista?

I installed a driver for my printer Hp Officejet Pro L7380. I can print from my computer and it detected that it, I can't scan anything on my computer because it is not connected. I have tryied Conect it but can not select. So my question is, how I connect printing to computer?

Specify that you are trying to scan a document Hp Officejet Pro L7380 to your Vista machine.  It has only a single computer attached, or is it a printer networked with other computers?

If you have installed the base drivers and not the additional software that allows scanning etc so maybe it's why you fail.

    Have a look here.

    Software & Driver Downloads
    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=2093&LC=en&cc=au&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=3198092#n190

It might be possible with just the base drivers, for other software, such as your Photo editing programs, including painting, for import documents or images from the scanner.  Windows Fax and Scan can be able to do.  When you go in such programs are there options scan and they see your scanner?  If this is not the case, try the full download.

If you want to of HP to make scanning programs, you may need the-base drivers and software (larger download).

For my HP ' All in one ' works like a scanner, it was necessary for me to download all drivers and software.

  • trying to connect a printer to my computer 2nd

Hi, I'm trying to connect a 2nd printer to my computer can you help please

Get new win 8 drivers from the printer support site.

Or from Windows Update or maybe MS Update Catalog.   Manufacturers seem to be delegating the distribution of driver to MS, especially for printers.

Yes. Try to install the printer and let Windows handle drivers of development.

If it does not try to download from the manufacturer's website.
I have good luck with all the universal drivers out there.

  • connection for printing from a computer wireless with a connection cable to the router usb printer?

Produst name: HP Officejet Pro L7555.

    Works with Windows 7.

A new router and the modem was installed when Comcast installed our wireless connection.  This of course did not work with the current setting of the printer.  The printer is connected via USB cable to the router.

Are you sure it's a USB and not an Ethernet cable?  I bet it's in the affirmative:

    1. disconnect the Ethernet cable.

    2. on the printer: Setup > network > default settings.

    3 reconnect the Ethernet.

Now, remove the printer in Control Panel > devices & printers, then add it again like this:

  • After you have reinstalled windows 7 on my computer hp laptop, internet wireless does not work. Any help please?

    I have a HP Pavilion g7 - 1205ev laptop with Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium edition.

I bought a new hard drive, so I had to reinstall Windows.

After installation, the laptop cannot connect to internet by wifi or Ethernet. After trying the troubleshooting it says that windows do not detect a network card installed properly.

In the Device Manager, I see that there is an exclamation to these exact components:

    Standard VGA graphics card

    BCM20702AO

    Ethernet controller

    Network controller

    PCI device

    PCI Simple Communications controller

    SM Bus controller

Download all these somewhere? And of course I'll upload them to another PC that my laptop will not at all online.

I also tried to run Ubuntu from a flash drive on my laptop and the Ubuntu uses the Internet very well. (If this information is useful at all)

Can someone tell me what to do? I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.
