  The only solution is to save your documents, if possible, then wipe and reinstall the computer.  While they controlled the computer they could literally do anything for her, and all the data on it is in peril.  You must also have your friend (s) to the police, banks or financial institutions that may be involved and let them know what happened and see what steps can be taken to mitigate the risks.

  I can get time NIST in day format using the rt_nist_date_time.llb example, posted on ni.com, but I can't connect to NIST NTP format time data using the port 123.  I freely admit to be over my head with this stuff and have spent a large part of this holiday Thanksgiving reading on UDP and TCP.

  The attached vi summarizes what I've tried so far.  The case of the UDP is what I thought would work, but I can't come up with a network address that likes the open UDP vi.  Can anyone out there help this n00b tell the time?

  OK, things seem to work. Here's how to analyze all of the NTP package. Of course, if you only want the timestamp, you could just parse the desired substring and eliminate a lot of products in bulk.

  Things are a little tricky because the timestamp differs from 4 years from the definition of LabVIEW or in the representation of FXP 32.32. If you don't care to fractions of a second, you could analyze only the integer part of 32 bits for the simpler code.

  A man with a voice of Indian call center called and asked my friend to connect to his computer because they knew that she had had problems with the help and he called for a "windows service center.  She asked for a number to call back and he hung up.  There is a phishing scam rightnow?

  Reported people on these calls for a person who represents Windows (note: not Microsoft).

  It is a scam! Not to follow their instructions or advice and not to provide ANY information to them.

  Because they use the internet lines and/or phone to complete their fraud, there may be federal agencies in your country who are interested in discovering their calls. Their report directly to the appropriate agency if you feel you can contribute to their arrest and the charges.

  Microsoft do NOT pick up the phone and start dialing customers and never phones/e-mails asking for personal information or asking them to visit a web site!

  I just got a phone call from an Asian-sounding guy who said he was from support.com windows. He gave me the address of the site to verify that it was legitimate. I explained that I used the basics of microsoft for the security of my pc. He asked me to go into different folders and ended up in the event viewer. He then asked me to use the filter, and he said that I had a large number of viruses in the present. He then asked me to access a website for remote access ammyy.com. What I did and then he said that he would remove my security but I said that I didn't change. He said new security and have deleted viruses would be £? (I don't remember) but that's what alarm bell rang for me and I didn't say thank you. He then said that he could remove the virus for another amount. Yet once, I said no. He closed the access remote, disconnected from my computer and hung up. I immediately ran a full scan and nothing suspicious has been identified.

  Please can you help me

  1. he could have done damage to my PC - do I need to do anything to protect?

  2. He would have no information from my PC?

  3. do I need to audit the "Event Viewer", as he says and delete the warning and error messages?

  4. I deleted the icon bottom right of my screen of pc ammyy.

  I'm not particularly computer literate and feel so devoid of sense allow this person as much access as I did. Do I need to take action now?

  There probably would have turned off anything to do with the error report. So, if everything has failed, it wouldn't connect the error/s.

  No doubt would have taken information. Their intention is probably (to charge you for nothing). Everything they do is disable services and stuff from your system to the top.

  Check out my sister in Australia was sucked into this type of scam. And paid $250 AU. I logged into his system after with teamviewer to fix.

  And they have disabled the services to do with the error report. The task manager would not work (because a service has been disabled)

  Don't worry all that is in the event viewer. The system works.

  I was sent an email on Apple Store, allegedly showing that I'm subscribed to Netflix via an iPhone, and I want the company £35.99. I him did not, or have even an iPhone that allows to make this purchase. The e-mail was also sent to an address that I do not have related to one ID with Apple. Is this just a phishing scam? (I've reported as such) or someone has hacked my emails and to set up a fake account to force me to pay? (there is no credit card or payment on this mail details means that he has been paid - this means I have to)

  

  It's a phishing e-mail (Netflix seems a current/recent favorite for them), if you always give to Apple: [email protected] and then delete him.

• BlackBerry 10 BB LINK 123.2.3 does not CONNECT WiFi with Q10 OS 10.2.1; 1925

  Updated to revision being BOUND.  Then plug a Q10 v10.2.1 will not WiFi.  Connection has been solid on the prior revision of LINK.  I tried to re-launch of LINK but also cold and hot restart of the Q10.

  Problem solved by reinstalling the revised LINK software.

  Not sure what you mean by "display port"...  The dock connector of the original iPod (2001) is a FireWire port.  You really have an original 1st gen iPod, with a (not key or click) scroll wheel that physically turns a circle?  Looks like this

  

  If so, it can connect to a computer equipped with a FireWire port .  To do this, not to connect to a USB port.  There are "scam" products that claim to be a USB-to-FireWire adapter cable, but they don't work; they can even cause damage to the iPod if used.  FireWire and USB work very differently (and even use different power supply voltages); You cannot connect them just by changing the shape of the connector.

  If your computer is a Mac (no FireWire port) with a Thunderbolt port, Apple sells a Thunderbolt-to-FireWire adapter.  On a Windows PC, to connect to the 1st (or 2nd) gen iPod, you add an expansion card of a certain type that provides an actual FireWire interface.  For more details, please provide more information on your situation.

  Your post says that someone is trying to connect 'on' your iPhone 6 - have - they possession of the phone or they try to connect your Apple from another device ID?

  Note also that there are a number of phishing scams that send e-mails that appear to come from Apple, but are not current. Do not use any links in these emails if you are not.

  If they are trying only to log in instead of sign in successfully it would be not necessary to change your password. A day after the remote access, my mother went to his notes on his iPhone and I saw that she had only three left instead of eighteen she had of the scam. I wanted to know if they were able to access his notes that are on her iCloud without knowing me. She has credit card information notes. Also, is it possible for them to continue access to distance even after closing of logmein?

  Today I got a text from a mobile phone no, informing me that my ID Apple has been locked.  I did not answer or clicking on the link sent in the message, because I suspect that it's maybe a scam.
