  1. first of all, please check that there is no any third-party firewall preventing Windows Update to communicate with "update.microsoft.com.

  2. check if Windows Firewall is blocking the update of Windows.

  Problem solved. Recommendations by e-mail has helped. I had to use 'Device Manager' from the Vista Control Panel for adding new hardware. I also need to add a new driver. The Kodak in Windows Vista camera driver worked. The camera is now recognized. Thanks for the help.

  PS: Alteration of the disc often accompanies this problem.  Don't forget to run a "chkdsk" operation after you recover.

  I bought the game of the year Edition of a games store, still sealed.

  I installed the game and when I went to enter the product key, it tells me it is invalid for the game I'm tying.

  I type in correctly, because if I change a letter it tells me that the product key is not valid.  But this error says that the key is valid, but not for the GOTY edition.

  GFWL was always a problem, so much so that MS stop GFWL (with little or no account of the)

  but have you checked to a different product key for the DLC?

  I have this game GOTY version, but they have a few others who have keys separate for the DLC

  I have a system that is used to run windows 7 well. Then I went to windows 10 and had problems after a major update soon after liberation. After that, my system did so, but I ran into issues. As a result, nearly a year later, I decided to try to go back to windows 7 with a completely new reinstall and re-upgrade. My windows 7 will not update and I miss all the tools that I can find as a substitute or a repair or cmd commands. The initial error is coded C80003FA. I did a lot of difficulties which seems to be similar to my questions and the Fix - it tool cannot find convenience stores. I also tried the standalone installer of windows and he found the fix, but could not install. After doing all the patches that seem relatable to me somehow, I now get the error code 8008005. This code came while typing, but other codes appeared as well.

  I suggest you try the following:
   
  close and exit all the open documents or windows program you have open.
   
  Open Internet Explorer (only!) go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737 
  [ignore the warnings of DO NOT APPLY and the section will APPLY to] & run the difficulty.
   
  Note => for best results, check the option to remove personal settings.
   
  NEXT
  1. open Internet Explorer (only!) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910336 [ignore the title & symptoms].
   
  1B. make disappear/close the pop-up window "automated troubleshooting! -then...
   
  c. 1, without taking into account any warnings similar, or '' not recommended '' run difficulty he 50202 in DEFAULT mode (if on a race later you still have the same failure, then repeat the above & select aggressive mode).

  KB3175443, KB3178034, KB3177725, KB3167679 all found and installed OK.

  If you want to stick with Norton, never ever upgrade to the new version (for example, from Norton 360 Norton 360 or Norton Security v23.x v23.x v22.x). Uninstall the current version, download/run a new copy of the removal of Norton & reboot tool and then do a clean install of the new version.

  Or you can switch to another (paid or free) suite anti-virus/security applications (for example, free Microsoft Security Essentials - which will be supported at least until the Extended Support for Win7 ends January 14, 2020).
