  • Cannot connect to Youtube. The first page load, try to register and gets stuck in a loop.

Pretty much what the title says. I try to load Youtube, and during the initial page load, it automatically attempts to connect. I don't know why, but it can not open my session and gets stuck in a loop. I don't have the patience to see if that solves finally itself, especially when I can sign very well in other browsers. The same thing happens whenever I try to connect to my Google account, as Youtube is related to Google.

Many issues of the site can be caused by corrupted cookies or cache. To try to solve these problems, the first step is to clear cookies and cache.

Note: This will be temporarily you disconnect from all the sites that you are connected. To clear the cache and cookies to do the following:

    • Go to Firefox > history > clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is displayed) go to tools > clear recent history.
    • Under "Time range to clear", select "all".
    • Now, click the arrow next to details to toggle the active details list.
    • In the list of details, see the Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything.
    • Now click the clear now button.

More information can be found in article to clear your cache, history, and other personal information in Firefox .

  • Cannot connect to YouTube, the page will not load.

I use version 28.0 and I cleared my cache, cookies and history of the browser. I can watch a video on Youtube, if a direct link and sometimes access to the site itself, but I can't log on my YouTube account. When I click on login, the page tries to load until I finally exit out of it and give up. After this point, I can not access the real YouTube website. I am able to connect to any other site, I've tried, including Facebook and my Gmail. I have no problem with this in my torch/Google Chrome or Opera browsers.

I added Firefox on my programs that can both through Windows Firewall and have run Malwarebyte scans s, Windows Defender, and SuperAntiSpyware. What can I do to fix this? Y at - it a plugin that I missed resettlement, because I had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox from scratch recently, or is there something else I'm missing?

The problem seems to have resolved itself somehow. I didn't do something different after trying to solve this problem, far backward at the beginning and running a couple of analysis between the two then and now you can find the usual cookies of my sites which had been cleared when I complained about this problem in the first place. I really hope that it does not start again.

  • Unable to open session or connection of YouTube or Google sites

Firefox 19.0.2 is suddenly unable to provide a platform for the connection, or the connection to Google sites. This occurred in a working session.

What I get on YouTube is a red banner
! There was a problem while connecting you on YouTube

On other sites, it just keeps asking for a password or just default is visitor.

I say that it is Firefox because changing browser doesn't have these problems.
I started Firefox in safe mode and nothing changes to avoid any rejection due to adblock or ghostery.
I did NOT reset as I'm afraid of losing something.
The other answers and suggestions I found on this topic will not apply to my situation, I can say.

I would appreciate the pointers that I can use to better identify the problem.

You can try to remove the passwords of the site that are currently stored in password manager:

    • Tools > Options > Security: passwords: "saved passwords" > "show passwords".

You can delete all stored data with a specific area through "Forget this Site" from the context menu of the history entry (see the history or the history sidebar) or via the subject: permissions page.

With the help of "Forget this Site" will delete everything as bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions in this area, so be careful and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose so take note of these passwords and bookmarks.
You can't recover from which "forget" unless you have a backup of the affected files.

It has no lasting effect, so if come back you on such a 'forgotten' site, then the data of this Web site will be saved once more.

You can also try opening a new private window (File menu or Firefox) to see if it works.

  • Why can't I connect to YouTube if you use Firefox?

The information is stored on other websites very well, and I was able to connect to my account through Internet Explorer 8 YouTube. However, when I click on the button "Sign In" on YouTube, I get an error message that reads,

"The page isn't redirecting properly." Firefox has detected that the server redirects the request for this address in a way that will never end. "

I tried to change the security settings, and I made sure cookies are allowed. I tried to empty the cache and even reset Firefox completely. None of this has worked.

If someone could help me with this, I would be very grateful. Firefox runs much faster on this laptop to Internet Explorer, for some reason, and I hate having to open a separate window with it to watch YouTube videos.

try in firefox safe mode and give a try

Try the Firefox Safe Mode to see how it works there. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open the Mode without failure of Firefox 4.0 + holding the key SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or use the menu option help and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Do not choose anything at the moment, just use "" boot mode safe. "
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.
If it's good in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

  • I can't play videos on youtube when I am connected to my account

This problem just started today, before that I had no problem with youtube. Earlier today, I tried to reload a video that I had seen earlier and received the message "an error has occurred." I have tried everything on youtube troubleshooting page, nothing helps. I've upgraded to Firefox 24. I tried to use youtube in Chrome and Safari, and it worked fine.
Then I tried my youtube account signature in Firefox. Videos played very well. I signed up, and the error was returned. I tried logging into my account in Safari and Chrome (I had not been signed in whem I tested them before) and they have always worked.
So the videos will not play in Firefox, but only when I am connected to youtube and work well in Safari and Chrome, if I am connected or not.

If clearing cookies doesn't work, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other files to present as cookie cookies.sqlite - journal in the profile folder of Firefox in the case where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

  • private in youtube browsing still reveals the recommended sites

Using the version of firefox on my Mac OS 42 and the use of private and not connected mode on youtube I saw a few specific sites such as planes, motorbikes etc...
When I opened a new Youtube browser makes recommendations based on article I saw like airplanes and motorcycles. If I do not connect to youtube how was able to make recommendations on the points I've seen Youtube?

If I open a new tab after closing the initial tab in this case. If I close and open a new Firefox window, that she will not return to the default youtube screen (no screen recommended).

I guess it's normal the original tab open firefox window to maintain information previous tab in the same window of Firefox closed. When firefox is closed and reopened all the information be removed.

  • Unable to connect to certain Web sites.

Unable to connect to youtube, google, and yahoo (search but engine mail works well). This has happened after the update of Windows 10.

This problem may also occur in the limited accounts by family parental control of microsoft. you could turn it off for your account as described in the: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/turn-off-microsoft-family-settings

in case you want to have it by intention, you would be required for some configurations in firefox and install the security certificate for the ms family that is getting used to intercept connections secured in the browser trust store.
Open this link in firefox - and must display a dialog on the addition of a cert. Please check the trust this CA to identify web sites & confirm the change.

Alternatively, you can also try the manual procedure described in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2965142 in the section about firefox.
