Connected battery does not support 11%

Question, that of why the battery is holding at 11 percent, hip but not load? I can do to remedy this? What may cause this etc... ?

Early in the morning of 10/07/2016 shows 11% battery not charge.

I plugged last night during the 9 p.m. Mountain time.

After connecting, I was running Utorrent 3.4.9 of the overnight download of some files.

A pilot plant was held yesterday 373.06 out ready driver NVIDIA GEForce game date 10/05/2016 - cost very spotless and without incident.

I have two cables of load. Both worked fine yesterday.  Both are connected to a different location on a different circuit. Overvoltage protected by Belkin.

I understand that you have a battery problem with an error "plugged in, not load ' and the battery does not fresh at all. It'll be a pleasure to help you with this.

A remarkable work has been done by you by performing a basic troubleshooting before you post your question in the forums of HP. It's always a great pleasure to work with tech-savvy and technically customers sounds like you. Kudos to you for this. I am amazed at your technical skills and levels of technical knowledge.

It certainly looks like the battery needs to be replaced. However, let's first establish that it is the battery and not the connector of battery on the motherboard that is defective controller.

Please follow these steps.

Please try a hard reset first. Steps to follow:

  • Turn off the computer and unplug the charger. Then remove the battery only if it is removable.
  • Press and hold the power button on the unit for 15 seconds to carry out the static electrical charges inside the machine.
  • Replace the battery and reconnect the charger
  • Please try to calibrate the battery.
  • Please update the bios from this link http://hp.com/drivers
  • Run the battery from this link: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03467259

Please run all the tests of components and if the battery is not please take note of the failure code.

I hope this helps. Please let me know how it goes. I really hope that the problem is solved without hassle and the computer works great. Thank you for being a part of the community of HP. Please let me know if this can help, and if this is the case, please mark this message as a "'Solution Accepted". " Kudos would be also greatly appreciated for my efforts help. • 0% connected battery, does not support

    I have a Hp G6-2197sa,

The battery is at 22% and suddenly, it goes down to 0% and hip said, does not support. Although I have not plugged in the charger cable.

The laptop still works at 0% for 5 Minutes, but then turns off suddenly.

When I load it's fresh at 0% then jumped sharply to 22%, but sometimes it does not jump, it goes to 1%

You should probably just calibrate the battery, see test and calibrate the battery (Windows 7).  Batteries degrade over time, and eventually the battery meter in Windows will not be synchronized with where the battery is upwards to (for example it will show he is more power left in the battery, it really is).  Calibrate the battery should put the battery meter back in sync with the battery at this time.

  • Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop computer. Connected battery does not support. Can I use the adapter of a computer Dell Inspiron 630 M laptop?

In the last 2 days I had a problem as indicated in the title of this post. The fault corrected itself 3 times, but still, it's back to "plugged in, not load.» I use the laptop (Windows Vista Home Premium; 32-bit) on the card without problem, I assume that the card itself is not defective.

I also have a Dell Inspiron 630 M laptop running Windows 7.  Can I use this card with the laptop of Vista, without causing damage to the Vista?  If it is safe to do so, and begins to charge the battery on Vista, this would indicate that the Vista adapter/charger has a kind of fault.

Hoping someone can give me some advice. Thank you.

Could be - or it could be the power supply.  See if the other card gives a link more solid.  If so, this is the plug of the adapter.  If it isn't, the decision-making within the system.

  • 35%, plugged in, battery does not support

I have the option set to 80% battery saver. However, today, I notice that my VAIO Duo 13 is sitting at 35% battery life and does not load. He sat like this for several hours and remains in this State even after a reboot. How can I get my battery charge again?

I at least temporarily solved the problem. I tried to play around with the method Microsoft ACPI compatible battery control list as described here , but that has not helped. Instead I put the AC off the device unplugged and pressed the button battery Off for 3 to 5 seconds (The Battery Off button is the small hole you see on top of the tablet of basis, under/behind the screen, above the port of AC. Stitch it with a paperclip to press it.) Then I leave the PC sit for awhile during dinner. Also, I unplugged the AC from the wall at the moment. Finally, I have it plugged in the AC. At the same time, I could see the charge LED lights up so it was already good. I turned on the PC normally and the battery indicator properly displayed that he was in charge and the percentage is rising. Sony credit, I received this response a few hours after I thought that myself:

It should be, but there are several remote desktop client updates that came out in the last 6 years as of the optional updates on Windows Update, so I would check that you have all the control panel.

  • Battery - plugged in, does not support

    Hey,.

I bought my laptop 13, 14 months ago...

At the beginning, it appears 'Low battery' on the 15%, then new attention to 10%, then it turns off automatically.

But since the past 10 years, 15 days my laptop charging time decreases every day...

I noticed, 10,12 days ago, it was usually stops at 25% without showing any message "battery low"...

After a few days, it starts to stop 40% without warning, and then again after a few days it starts to stop at 60%...

(Originally my laptop take until 01:30 hours for 100% charging, but after getting in this situation, my load time is also reduced, as when it was stop at 40%, when I plug in, it will load entirely whitin half an hour and at 60%, charge time is more diminished and get completely loaded only in 15, 20 minutes..)

But nowadays, laptop turns on only when I plug (and showing, hip, does not support) and down I took out. I checked by removing the battery and connect the charger, laptop works very well and can easily log on windows without battery...

Someone please, detect and specify the problem and kindly let me know the Solution.

    Thank you HP...!

  • Re: Satellite A500 (PSAR9E) battery - plugged in, does not support

Yesterday, I noticed that my battery is at 74% - plugged in but not charging. Laptop not working ok, no problem.
Before this problem occurred, I started it upward, he worked for 10 minutes on the battery without connected charger.

Then it just stops what it self. I thought that maybe the battery was low so I plugged it on. After a while, I noticed that it does not load, I have it plugged into power-it shuts down as there is no current battery. Tried to remove the battery, plugged into the cable from the Jack, put back them, the battery cable, it starts and still nothing... Today it of about 72% and still does not support... Laptop is 2 years old. Battery has been working great until now.

Please help if you know the solution, thank you!

    What to say?

Start the laptop without battery and when the windows are fully charged put the battery in place.
I imagine that the battery will be recognized correctly. Is the same situation when this happens?

It will be interesting to know how it works with a new battery. At the moment, we can say more about it. The problem is battery or maybe electronic power?

It is not easy to say what the problem is here.

  • portable computer does not support. Yet battery monitor says "plugged in, not support.» What are some options?

my laptop is connected, and yet power monitor says "plugged in, does not support." What are some solutions?

    Hi Joseph,.

Something similar just happened to me. The first time they fixed it, they have replaced the adapter and the problem is solved. 5 months later it started to happen again and this time they replaced the battery, the motherboard and the milling table (thanks to heaven, it is still under warranty). Fortunately, thanks to the new adapters, battery started to load and the experience does not seem to damage it in any way (but you should keep your eyes on it anyway just in case).

How they were able to say on my laptop - a Dell E1705 (other than just experience and common sense) was to go into the BIOS (starts, it should be a brief Flash on the screen telling you how to enter the BIOS setup or menu of the BIOS (usually F2) and check the battery information. He showed that the power adapter 'unidentified' instead "90W" list which should be when it is working properly and that the battery was not complete and not charging well plugged. They changed the motherboard and the roll the second time because it could also cause the adapter is not being recognized by the battery (or battery not not recognize the adapter).

The beep is caused by power and its configured settings to warn you of a low and critical battery condition. In a normal situation, the computer will work right next to the power adapter and does not the battery (it is a way to help maintain the battery life is to run periodically and refill if we leave normally plugged in most of the time). If you remove the batttery entirely, the laptop will power? If this isn't the case, it is certainly at least the adapter or the motherboard. Eventually the battery will get if low, that he's going to sleep or hibernation, or the system stops (you should shut down normally before him to cold shutdown like that). If If, then I expect the tone to go further because it will detect is no longer a low battery charge, because there is no battery - but then you'll want to be sure to use either a battery backup UPS, or at least a surge protector otherwise already in place because if you lose the laptop battery will crash hard and this is not good for her.

I'm using 32 bit Vista Business SP2 and in Control Panel / sounds / Sounds there is an option for low battery alert. The default to have this. In this case, you can turn off to avoid the beep. In addition, you can go into Control Panel / Power Options, click the plan settings and click on battery. It will provide you with levels of low battery and critical battery and you provide measures to be taken in such a case. If you are unable to operate the system without battery and it is so weak that the alerts began, you probably fell to 11-5% remaining. You can adjust actions to nothing for bass and stop to criticism that 5% is about as close as you want to get to the point where you can hang. Then, you just need to wait until it is repaired and the appropriate parts are replaced.

Even if you have still some life in it, it is best to contact the manufacturer (they the some have the right parts) or a computer of reputable workshop to get a good diagnosis (perhaps by phone at first), a determination of what must be fixed, the applicable fees, schedule, if it is still under any kind of warranty , and what needs to be done in which order of repair. They can find the adapter is OK and it is just the battery (or vice-versa or two or more). But that's essentially where you need start.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • HP dm4 connected does not support

I turned on my computer today and my battery did not work at all. The computer will be ony work when I have the AC adapter is plugged. I hover over the battery icon and it says 0% available (plugged in, does not support). I had this problem before, but I'm not quite rmember how I fix.

I tried to uninstall the Microsoft ACPI driver and rebooted the computer several times since then with no luck.

I ran the HP battery check and ended up getting a code of failure REOOW. I'd be inclined to think that the solution would be to replace the battery if it wasn't for the fact that this happened to me once before, and he started working normally again.

In addition to that, usually, when a battery goes bad the battery life gradually worsens until he hardly hold its charge. It wasn't the case with me. I'd get again until about 3.5 hours of battery life in use until this problem started suddenly.

I would just buy another battery to be sure that wasn't the problem if it wasn't for the fact that I can't really afford one right now. If anyone has any ideas on how to solve the problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

786 is a large number of cycles. We continue to look for something exotic or simply decide to go with the odds.

I gnerally does not recommend batteries "knock" off you get on eBay. You might get a message 'authentic not' nagging of the HP software on the computer. However, an analysis purely "bang for the buck" and for an older machine, they are a viable option.

You have not given your exact model number, but I think that all dm4s use the same battery. Hard to beat $14.35 shipped:

    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/new-battery-for-HP-DM4-586006-321-586006-361-593553-001-MU09-/200794923427?PT=Laptop_Batteries&hash=item2ec04f61a3

Just check your part against the compatibility list number. You will certainly find one that will work for less than $20, shipped to the United States.

  • You will need to connect the battery, but lapptop now sign showing that the battery is not connected, so does not load.

You will need to connect the battery. until recently, all ok.  never use the laptop as a mobile, always on the wireless, but lapptop shows now sign that the battery is not connected so does not load.

I have a laptop which, so far, is always connected wireless when it is in use. I want to take a vacation, and notice a signal arrives that the battery is not connected and therefore does not load.  This has happened recently, although the battery never showed a 100% charge. can someone tell me how to connect the battery please.

Check that the battery is correctly installed. If it is then the problem is that the battery is exhausted, so you should buy a new battery.
