Connection more hard shores and CD disks results in failure of Windows startup

Original title: connection more hard shores and CD players.

Hello
my computer using the IDE master and one slave SATA hard drives. the problem is when I try to connect a third hard drive to the system. It takes a while to show the start screen "Intel" and he then fails to start windows. It also does the same thing when I tried to connect a second DVD in there. Shoul I change something in the BIOS settings?
What could be the problem?

Hello

What is the type of the third hard drive, it's /IDE (Integrated device electonics) SATA (Serial Attachment of asynchronous transfer)?

Any additional hard drive included mette as disk HARD slave and make sure of DVD drive jumpers are fixed for the slave. Check the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) and drive HARD primary set as first boot device.

You must contact the manufacturer of the computer to perform tasks in the BIOS.

Warning: Be careful when you change the BIOS settings. The BIOS interface is designed for advanced users, and it is possible to change a setting that can prevent your computer from starting properly. BIOS update should be made only if necessary (to solve a compatibility problem, for example). It can be a complicated process, and if an error occurs, your computer could be rendered inoperative. Be sure to observe the instructions of the manufacturer.

I'm not aware of any Internet service provider that offers a 100 Mbps connection.

  • Missing NTLDR reported in Windows XP SP3 and SATA disks only

Two days ago my PC refuses to start and I got the error NTLDR not found. Press CTRL ALT DEL to restart. My computer got only SATA hard drives and these are not detected by my Windows XP CDROM for a reboot to CD. The system reports no disk found.

I am able to get my PC running using the HIRENS boot disk. This isn't a permanent solution and I need help to get back on track again.

Can I just start my PC using HIREN and then insert the Windows CDROM and use the following commands at the CMD window BACK line?

    COPY C: X:i386NTLDR
    COPY C: X:i386NTDETECT.com

Where X is the letter of the CD ROM drive

Then restart my PC and this work? I don't want to ruin my system so I need some advice please.

  • Connection between the monitor and the Studio 1458 laptop seems broken

After happily using my Dell Studio 1458 for a little over a year, all of a sudden my laptop screen went completely blank (not black, but a sort of grey empty) when I started yesterday. I have reset several times, I let it run and I heard the sounds of standard Windows startup. Since I assumed the laptop worked again very well, and I plugged an external monitor. I am now using the laptop with this external monitor and everything except the monitor to the laptop works very well.

I can still go to "change screen resolution" and see the laptop screen correctly detected by Windows. I can turn it on by selecting "extend these screens. I can also change the screen resolution on the laptop screen. It's the same kind of gray white whatever I do. Of all this I conclude, there is nothing wrong with the drivers: the more likely culprit seems to be the link between the laptop and the screen of the laptop. Unfortunately I ran out of warranty three weeks ago so I don't know what are my options here. I started to disassemble the laptop to see if maybe I could plug a cable loose once more, but I got cold feet at halfway when I remembered that I had saved not properly all my files.

Any ideas on how should I proceed?

    Thank you

    Johannes

This would mean it's time to start trying new parts - cable first.  If that does nothing, try a new inverter (if the screen is CCFL).  If it's backlit by LEDS, try a new screen.

  • Removal of the reserve system and PQSERVICE during the clean reinstall of Windows 7

IM about to format my hard drive and reinstall Windows 7 using the windows 7 CD that I bought. I see a number of partitions:

    Disk 0 partition 1: PQSERVICE

Disk 0 partition 2: System reserves

    Disk 0 partition 3: Acer

    Disk 0 partition 4: DATA

I would like to reinstall also costs as possible

Can I delete Disk 0 Partition 1: PQSERVICE and Disk 0 partition 2: RESERVE SYSTEM

I think PQSERVICE provides stuff like the drivers for my ACER desktop computer requires. However I already downloaded the ACER site using my serial number. I'm more concerned about the reserve of the system parition.

I got response would be much appreciated. I'm not to make a terrible mistake.

    Thank you

your PC had no any CD to re - install because it is inside the PQSERVICE partition, you must make the CD yourself using Acer erecovery tool.

without PQSERVICE and create this partition with Acer erecovery CD/DVDs you will not be able to restore factory default.

If you don't want or need it, simply clear all the HARD drive and go with a simple installation of windows 7, PQSERVICE and system restore are not needed, the system restore is not created from the new facility.

The drivers are downloadable as you have already found.

  • Update Windows Installer KB3002885 (and later KB3000061) causes "Failure Configuring Windows Updates, changes of restoration"

I manually ran Windows Update for about 22 updates including KB3002885 (KB3000061 is not included at this time).  It resulted in "Failure Configuring Windows Updates, changes of recovery".

    Measures taken (without the fix):

    -Reboot

-Restart in Boot Clean with Services MS no disabled state

    -Updated Troubleshotter

    -System Restore (3 weeks)

    -DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

I started installing updates a little at a time and was able to install all the updates about 22 except KB3002885, which always causes the problem 'failure configuration... '. ».

Updates at this point (November 14, 2014) identified KB3000061.  When update was executed for this update by itself it also caused the problem of the "default configuration... '. ».

  • NAS hard drive not accessible more: the device is not configured to accept connections on port 'files and printers sharing (SMB).

    Dear,

I am desperately looking for a solution for my specific problem how access my NAS.

I have a hard drive from Western Digital NAS (Book Live) which worked fine until now. Yet, I just changed my internet provider and I now have a new Fritzbox 6360. Now, I can not access the hard disk of the commune of programs in Windows. I contacted two suppliers already, but without success. I think I have some incorrect settings in my Windows 7, 64 bit. This is the situation:

-NAS is still working with my old Fritzbox, for testing that I went back-> ok

-I can access the NAS via the dashboard or a TwonkyServer-> ok

-When I access it via Windows Explorer, I wonder is to give my credentials (which don't work) or I get the error message: the device is not configured to accept connections on port 'files and printers sharing (SMB).

-J' changed my IP address (dynamic even static) and connections, password-> without success.

-J' tried SFC with the result that found no violation of integrity. -> ok.

    Any idea?

Can you please turn off the NAS, unplug the cable and Ethernet cable? Wait about 2 minutes then plug all the cables back in. Any security program or firewall to this computer? Try disabling it for now.

You have another PC or laptop which has Windows 7/8 and try to access the NAS?

You have a smartphone or a Tablet and download an application for the WD NAS and then try to access files.

  • Best way to connect several hard disks

HI - since getting my new Mac Pro, I worked with two hard drives of 12 to promised Pegasus 2 Raid-5.  They have been great.  But my video player started to get crazy and so I bought two backup drives WD - 8 to, one to save the key on each PP2 files.  Unfortunately, it was too late to save the video player, as one of the bays failed.  Because it's Raid-5 and with the amazing and patient Vincent promise eSupport, I replaced the failed drive Bay and am now waiting while he rebuilds (if all goes well, without any loss of data).  Then it will get saved.

Until it became clear that a bad drive Bay was probably underlying computer freezing, loss of images in video playback, etc., I was wondering if there was some sort of best practices for fixing of external drives.  With Thunderbolt, you can chain; But what to what?  Is there a limit any?  Can I plug two disks promise, then the one closest to you on the computer?  Must the WDs be connected in the same way, each to each, and the other to the computer?  Should there be just a Garland of four disks?   ????   In the old days, you had to look at how much energy was used during the USB and Firewire connection, but the true even for love at first sight?

Surely you'd be recognizing any indication on how best to connect several hard disks.

    Thank you!

There are 3 unique bus in the Mac Pro black cylinder. Better reactivity is with your readers spread between three buses, keeping in mind that video display takes nearly half a ThunderBolt Bus itself.

You can use USB-3 for your backup drives - just keep in mind, it is only a sufficient bandwidth behind the USB to operate a chain of reading and writing of full tilt. If you simultaneously use devices more than that, you can start to see some cuts of your maximum transfer rate.

  • Recently installed iTunes needed to point to the old library on a disk hard separte and import my old iPhone backups

I recently reinstalled my OS and iTunes on a new hard drive, my old iTunes program was stored on

the drive that I removed. My iTunes music library has been memorized and is still located on an external hard drive that is still in

use. How to point the new installation of iTunes on my music iTunes located on the external hard drive and also import

My data backup iPhone, applications etc... the former replaced the hard disk that the iTunes program was stored initially on?

Assuming that you have the entire library, not only the media folder, and then press and hold down the SHIFT key as you launch iTunes. Keep now until asked to choose or create a library. Click on choose and find the iTunes Library.itl file in your iTunes folder.

As long as your iPhone works you can connect and save it like her now. If you have the old hard drive and try to migrate the older backup sets, these need to be copied in \Users\\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup

See make a library of portable split to the bottom. If your library has been split and you have the old drive so it should be possible to pull the library of him and put it on your outside.
