  I'm reviewing two sites and you want to use ' FILE / Preview in browser ' (opt - F14) without involving the server. But that 'Preview using temporary file' either checked or unchecked in the PREFERENCES, DW connects first to the server.

  My sites are on different servers and DW connects to the server appropriate regardless of what browser I want to test.

  Of course, there is no technical problem other than memory, drives, etc. constraints.

  We use these Frankenstein servers with a mix of Developer Suite and Oracle database of different development versions. Not the best situation, of course. Just be careful of path and ORACLE_HOME settings when doing things like patching with OPATCH since there is more than one instance in which these commands may apply.

  A domain is a group of the PC network that share a common database and security policy. Computers can be on different LANs. Control of security servers and permissions for all computers on the domain. This makes it easier for an admin, IT changes because the changes are automatically made to all PC.

  Windows Pro 8 and 8.1 of Windows Pro allows you to join a domain so that you can connect to your company or school network. PC running Windows 8.1 or 8.1 RT Windows cannot join a domain.

  Domain users must provide a password or other information of connection whenever they have access to the field.

  If you have a user account on a domain, you can connect to any PC on the field without needing an account on this PC. You can probably make only changes limited to a PC settings because IT admins often want to keep network PC compatible.

  We are finalizing plans to install Automic (software scheduliong formerly UC4) for our suite of retail applications and replace Uc4.

  The process came to know that Automic does not support AL32UTF8 database characterset.

  At this moment we have RMS and UC4 UC4 supports AL32UTF8 and schema for UC4 running on the same database server is inside the RMS database.

  From now on, it is recommended to have a separate database instance on the same server as the RMS database and with a different characterset which is WE8MSWIN1252.

  Is it possible to have 2 instances of database running with different charactersets, one with AL32UTF8 and the other with WE8MSWIN1252. ?

  There are configuration requirements before implementing instances of database?  THS APPWORX (for UC4) schema will be exported (data pump export) and imported into the new database.

  The utility Automic we want to use is not compatible AL32UTF8 and manage only a database of character set WE8MSWIN1252.

  Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

  Yes - without any doubt - two databases are independent and have nothing to do with each other.

  You may have - to test the export/import process rigorously. If your source is AL32UTF8 and target is WE8MSWIN1252, data loss may occur for those characters that are in the former, but not the last.

One of them is used to communicate with the wireless IP cameras (using ActiveX Axis Media Control), and the other is necessary to access the internet and load the Google maps (using an ActiveX from Microsoft Web Browser control). I'm at University and the internet connection is through a proxy server.

  I don't know much about networks and HTTP requests, but I notice that if I set up Internet Explorer to work through the proxy, I am able to navigate in GoogleMaps, but there is no way to access the IP cameras. And if I set Internet Explorer to work without a proxy, I get exactly the opposite.

  Try to create an exception for your proxy server - see attached pictures (Win XP SP3).

  Note: These proxy exceptions can be created programmatically, by editing the Windows registry.

• Unable to connect a wireless printer with laptop computer since the reset wireless router

  I have a wireless HP C4580 printer that connects to my Acer Aspire laptop using windows 7. The two have worked together very well for months.  My wireless router stopped working a few days ago, so I had to unplug the device to make it work again is it.  But since then, I can't get my lap top to communicate with the printer now.
  I went all the problem of shooting and insured the printer is on line and set it as default printer. I even did a system restore, as suggested in the troubleshooting
  With the help of the program are the two messages that I get now troubleshooting
  1 that the C4500 series can be contacted via the network (this is the message that I had before the restoration also)
  2 the C4500 series is not shared with the homegroup

  All the tips are greatly appreciated in progressive simple language as possible as I am a bit useless with computers

  I assume that the printer is all first directly connected on the router, then the laptop?  Access the router and make sure that the printer is listed as a "wireless client" connection  If this isn't the case, you should probably restore the wireless "link" between the printer and the router then the printer should work.

  Hello, first time submit a question to the Adobe communities.

  I would like to be able to record twice during an action with the same file extension; How is that possible? I tried a number of methods such as: save a JPEG as a copy, renaming jpeg in jpg format, adding a line to underscore the SMALL Word after it, etc., and it keeps overwriting my first recording. I'm still not recording "in copy" feature when saving a jpeg file. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I think that if this box is not grayed out on my second record I would be able to add the copy at the end of my file name that would create my second jpeg.

  I need this is because when I save the little and the big jpeg for our company store, I would just create an action that saves as two different sizes and then closes the file to move to another. The site on what I download is Four51 and they take a reorganization of the files, so a single method, I tried was to save the second time into action as a png but it makes it transparent and I need a white Uni.

  Tried to go into the options and disabling transparency PNG but that only works with quick export that will not register within an action (even abroad). It is a dilemma for some time, and my only way to work around it is to create the action doesn't follow: resize to 300 px wide > save as Jpeg > end of action. I play action and hit the command option I have change my size to 100 px wide for the thumbnail, then click on control shift s to record success and right arrow to add details and then save, order q, tab, space.

  If it makes no sense to anyone, I would be grateful for your advice. The only thing I can think that I have not tried is to change my background from transparent to white and then create this action: command option I have 300 px wide > order s (jpeg) > command option I have 100 px wide > command shift s (png) > w command

  I guess the only way to change your default background to white instead of transparent is to create a new document and put in place without transparent background then go further, my new documents will have white backgrounds. Do not see under my preferences?

  Something like the following action could work.

  A couple of notes:

  Image adjustment is under file > Automate > Fit Image and resizes the image to fit the specified size.

  For example, if you enter 300 in the two fields, photoshop resizes the longer side at 300 and the other dimension including the size proportionally as when you use Image > Image size to maintain Proportions checked.

  

  Photoshop uses the copy to JPEG files if the image of your savings has one or more layers or is not 8-bit/channel, because do not support JPEGs of layers or say 16 bits/channel.

  If you have only a background layer, then photoshop uses a copy when saving a jpeg file

  Thus, during the recording of the action you probably want that one-step flatten so save the first does not include copy in the name.

  To get the action record adding copy to name, open any image, add a layer, and then record save as jpeg for copy adds the jpeg save as step

  Emagent, it's that something in relation to the grid control. Grid control, you can manage multiple databases from a single point. But for a single database you don't need grid or emagent. DBCONTROL just enough. What do you see when you run:

  #emctl dbconsole status

  If dbconsole is stopped, you can start by

  #emctl start dbconsole

  When you start dbconsole with the above command, you will also see the url for the EM. Dbconsole EM is just a web management interface. You must also have a repository. When you create an oracle repository will create just schemas named 'sysman' and 'general '. It will create the objects (tables, views etc.) under these schemes. Infact the data you see on the EM console is filled with these patterns. That's why you need a repository for the EM work.
