Connection of Skype and reconnection

I just upgraded to the latest version of Skype, and now it just keeps connection and disconnection. I do not mean that she signed me, but my status will be online for two seconds and then, it will go offline and then I'm online again for a few seconds and then in offline mode and I can't fix! Is there something I can do?

Version of Skype - 6.20.0.104

Windows - Windows XP 5.1 Service Pack 3

Apologies I don't know if you need more information, if you let me know and I'll tell you.

  • Use of Skype and CPU.

Seems, I'm not the only person having trouble with Skype for the moment, but I'm not getting 100% CPU usage problems as many other people. My CPU with open Skype usage revolves around 12 to 25% and is very unstable at the moment for some reason any. Not had this problem earlier in the morning, but as soon as I'm online, connected to Skype, everything was slow and non-responsive so I opened the Task Manager and saw that it was chewing a lot of my CPU for a reason any.

If anyone has any information or suggestions let me know, but I've done so far is to sign out of Skype and reconnect, I killed all the processes in the Manager of tasks and re-opened, and I've even bothered with the restart my computer several times as well as uninstall and re - install Skype and nothing has worked.

It's really annoying, even if I don't get 100% cpu usage there is no reason to be so inconsitant no reason apparent because he was well earlier in the day and suddenly won't work right. It is virtually unusable at the moment because my messages take forever to pass, and it takes forever to receive as well as Skype getting a black box before any GUI load I have pass between users in the message. BTW I am using windows 7.

and because of that someone is wondering that my processor is an AMD [email protected] is a computer game and there is no reason why Skype should act the way it is on my hardware. If anyone has the imformation on what to do from here on out, let me know please.

I find that after a time random, maybe twenty minutes a half an hour or so, my internet connection breaks down and it can only be fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting to my wifi network.

    Hello

I have Skype Connect enabled and linked to my PBX with a SIP profile.

Now, I need activate incoming calls from Skype to my PBX.

Therefore, I need to link a Skype business profile account, but he refuses because the account I want to connect is a 'personal account '.

-Can I convert this account to business account?

    - Or maybe I can delete this account and reuse the same Skype name?

Currently, I have 2 accounts (the admin Manager, "msfsupply" and a different account 'msf.supply').

I can't activate one of them for incoming calls.

I would like to be able to use one of these Skype names for incoming calls from my Skype Connect.

    Haha...

I started first with the help of Skype.

They told me to contact microsoft, because it is a business problem.

    I called Microsoft

They told me that it was not for them either and I should post a question here on answers.microsoft.com to get a technician on that.

I downloaded an online game, and whenever I try to run the client for download, it says "not detected internet connectivity.  Please reconnect and try again. »

I use a laptop and on my own connection, it's to 5 bars and I can connect to firefox and internet explore.

I do not see what is the problem, if someone can alleviate this situation for me, I'd be very happy.

Without knowing more details, I have two guesses.

    (1) a firewall blocking the application.

    (2) the servers that the game tries to connect are down.

    1. is the issue limited to the Skype connection?

    2. you remember bringing all recent software or hardware changes on the system before the show?

This seems to be a bug related to the latest update of Skype.

MOD Edit: Edited post to remove the information personal & consistent with the Skype community guidelines

The SOLUTION FOUND ... and what I've learned about the blockage at the level of the device!

SOLUTION, the SHORT VERSION: there is an automated system that detects several Skype represents signatures on a single computer device using the Desktop Skype application and that the automatic system can block future sign-in on a particular device for safety reasons, when more than 2 accounts have been detected.  To unblock a DEVICE-LEVEL-BLOCK by the Office of Skype system you must contact Skype supports services to have the block studied and eventually deleted. It can take a number of days to pay, for three days in my case.  In the meantime, a workaround is to use Skype web.skype.com based portal or another device to the computer, assuming that there is No an account level problem with signature on an account himself.

SOLUTION, the LONG VERSION: as I said earlier, I had climbed blocked Application Desktop Skype connection problem to chat services online technical support of Skype that had tried to solve the problem using control tests remotely from my office. After you have determined that the problem was not the application itself, or my account itself, they concluded by saying that "I've check (sic) thanks to our superior team and we discover that there are some restrictions on your device to use your account Skype is why you can't connect." "So you have to climb (sic) that our technical team of level 2 so they (sic) fixed this issue.  (My side thought: a good command of the English language doesn't seem to be much in vogue on the Internet chat these days!...) LOL)

Having learned it may take 24-48 hours to respond to level 2, I waited. Wednesday evening (about 83 hours later), I received an email from an escalation to Global escalation Services analyst who made me know the block had been removed and that I could try to reconnect.  It worked.  I've been in.  Joy!

Not content to let just there, I followed with Skype support services again the next morning by chat online and learned the following interesting information.  "There [was] a restriction on the device you are using." ... "Just stop OK to connect to multiple Skype accounts on your device. ... The system detects the Skype account that logs on demand. "I then wanted to know" which means that the different members of the family can not use this machine to connect to different accounts? «The answer was, "they can try to connect, but it's better if you can allow only 2 accounts to use the desktop.» ... It's automated system and the system will detect it. »

So what I learned from this experience.  Skype Desktop application system keeps track of which accounts you log in every device, and when it detects multiple accounts logging on the same device... at some point, it can trigger a DEVICE-LEVEL-BLOCK on Skype Desktop of this particular system application in order to avoid the risk of abuse.  This means that each device from the computer, or possibly the application itself must have a unique number that identifies the device to Skype and allows a track whose accounts are connected in this device.  If the system detects potential abuse, it will block this device of signature on a Skype account ID using a Skype Desktop application.  This device-level-blocking apparently does not work using the web based Skype portal at web.skype.com.

I can understand the need for Skype for safety and to protect their services against abuse.  In my case, having more than two accounts, log on to the same device triggered a block device on the scale for all the accounts, with the exception of their test Skype account, when you use the desktop application for Skype.  This is something to know.  Work around if more than two users want to use Skype on the same device seems to use the Skype beta portal to web.skype.com instead of the Skype application.  I hope that this information will be useful to other users of Skype.

  • iPhone dis - and reconnected to iTunes

    Hello community,

I have a problem with my MacBook Pro retina 15 "(later) and the iPhone 6 s (even later), both with recent updates."

When I want to sync my iPhone with iTunes via USB (original) cable, it keeps saying - and reconnect over and over again. Recharge my iPhone no problem and usually my USB port on the Mac works correctly.

Also, this problem was introduced after two years with my iPad Air (1st generation) and for a few weeks with my iPhone.

The two cables are fine, I have them have not broken from a roof, that stood on them or keep them under the water.

I turned as the two devices (Mac and iPhone) on and outside.

Do you know where is the problem and how can I solve it?

I would appreciate your help, thanks a lot!

    Kind regards

A very common method of deactivation of the cables is ripping off their either out of the USB connection or the Lightning by pulling the cable itself, rather than the box close to the end of the connector.

This looks like quite by chance that this relatively unusual problem should happen more than once to you.

You can try a different USB port on your Mac.  In addition, you can consider buying a new cable if you somehow she had poor handling, in one way other than standing on them, etc.

My impression dxdiag is attached below.

I would like to have a safe and secure Skype version working again (I had to go back to 6.21) so I would appreciate a quick response.

Well, I ended up fixing the issue myself and updated to the latest version of Skype. Here's what I did:

    1. I noticed that reports of incidents mentioned, Asus Virtual Camera, so I uninstalled (most likely culprit).
    2. A run the File Checker system via the command prompt (with administrator privileges): cmd-> sfc/scannow
    3. A ran chkdsk to check the C: drive to find errors. C: /-> properties-> tools-> of error checking
    4. Restarted my computer and then 7.12 Skype for connected desktop PC and ran without crashing!

Given that my problem has been solved I am that mark it as resolved.
