Connection to a recorder/VCR VHS to PC

Hello world

Can someone tell me if I need a video and card Capture audio to record my old tapes VHS on my PC?

Or I could, as I have 12 Nero and first 10 elements able to capture the movie, just use a cable (RGB) video and sound?

Cordially Goozzie

Thank you J volunteer,

I have a DVD burner but I don't the had not used for a while and when I tried it was defective, showing all the pink side.

I have not a DV camera that's out of the question. So it seems that the only way I can do it is by buying one of your last suggestions, a video and audio capture card as you suggest.

Thanks for your quick response

Goozzie

You are welcome and thank you for the comments.

I think that I was just lucky in choosing a DVD/VHS recorder
It worked much better expected. I used a Toshiba DVR620 and
the quality of DVD-video that results is as good or better
than VHS tapes.

It also had options for the creation of a functional menu with selectable
icons for various video clips.

Good luck with your project...

Start this utility, and select the input parameters of the monitor.
It allows to switch between the s-video and monitor-in.

    Hi all

I have to save the old cassette VHS on my IMAC, but I don't know how to do, I also bought the Easycap USB + DC80 and it seems that does not work, could you help me to explain what do I need?

I don't know anything about the Easycap, but I used a Canopus ADVC-55 with good results: I don't know if it is still available but you can try searching for it or one of the other patterns of Canopus. It requires no software driver and should work directly in iMove.

Unfortunately, it seems that only record under the closed greeting can be configured for active planning.

Is there a solution even set up on CUC?

To do this, you can set up routing of calls of 'Time of Day' in CUCM with a system more in CUC call handler, it will work perfectly.

  • Can I connect VHS Video Recorder for Qosmio G20 using the antenna in the Port?

    Hello.

I connect my G20 a very old VCR. Can I connect it to the antenna in the port? Someone at - it tried? Because it will not need to buy a cable SCART. And for what I searched by linking to the video in Port, if I want to record the signal, I have WinDVD record I did more.
So I was wondering if connect the VCR to the antenna port. I'll be able to find and record the VHS signal on media center?
    Thank you

I already tried on S - video In and I get black screen

More: When I connect the laptop to a TV it works only via the S-video port. When I use the D-video port it simply doesn't work. The black screen.

Of course you can do it. On this Qosmio laptop TV tuner works on the same principle as usual TV. You can watch movies on Qosmioplayer or using Media Center Edition VHS. In both cases start movie VHS and let Qosmioplayer or MCE sweep all TV channels. On one of them, you will see the picture of VHS VCR.

All that s. I tested it with Qosmioplayer and MCE too. It works without any problem. I also tested recording option. This also works. Later, I edited material recorded and created DVDs.

With short words: with Qosmio G20, you can do whatever you want. It's really good multimedia laptop.

  • Qosmio G20 - connection to a VCR

    Hello

I have a G20 and I want to connect it to my VCR.
I have everything I had to was to connect the computer and VCR using the SCART cable connector D and I would be able to use the computer like a TV. I did exactly that, but I can not get any picture. I have to install any other software to capture the image?

Could you guys give help on this topic? Thank you!

    ESM

    Hello

You can plug your VCR on the Qosmio use composite cable or you can connect directly using coaxial antenna into the slot.

I tested it with Qosmio F20. You can watch all the movies on your laptop using Qosmioplayer or same Media Center. Start one of these applications, press play on the VCR and scan channels. We'll find a channel and you can watch the content of the tapes.

  • How to connect my pc to the dvd recorder to project on my TV?

    Hello

I have a Toshiba laptop with Win7 installed and I would like to connect it to my TV. The thing is that my TV (flat screen Philips crt) does not have a HDMI connection, but it is connected to my recorder DVD (Sony), which has a HDMI connection port. What I would like to make, and I tried to do, is to connect with the PC on the DVD and then project HDMI cable to my TV. Of course, my TV is set to 'See' the DVD to the right path. Usually, I do the same thing when I connect my camcorder to the DVD project my recordings on the TV screen, but it does not work with the HDMI connection.

    Does anyone have suggestions, ideas?

    Thank you very much!

Maybe not, but did the Sony HDMI input and output?

It seems, at least that I misread, that some Sony DVD have only HDMI out (apparently), this one for example - http://www.sony.co.uk/product/dvd-player/dvp-sr760h/technical-specifications#tab as in "output HDMI 1 (rear)"

There are other outlets in common? - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Connect-your-computer-to-a-TV

There were converters such as about - http://www.Amazon.co.UK/brand-1080P-composite-converter-support/DP/B008MHY1VC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&QID=1382279080&SR=8-1&keywords=HDMI+to+composite

(random example) but I've never used them so I can't tell how well (or not), they work.

  • Download a connect recording (i.e. don't not streaming)

According to a public "Welcome to connect 9' recorded webinar download now you can record directly without having to broadcast in real time to the local workstation:

    the https://onlineevents.adobeconnect.com/_a655548740/p82otjzrh2h/?Launcher=false street & fcsContent = t & pbMode = normal

(it's in the Q & a section about 2/3 of the descent - attached screenshot)

However, I can't find any way to do this. There is always the option "Make offline", but which starts just the local streaming. I tried using 'Edit' first and then clicking on 'Save', but also just, which began streaming. I also tried to use the 'download = zip' hack URL that I would be reading on other sites, but who just saved a zip file full of highlights Flash décompilés. I created a small 1-minute check-in for the tests, and none of the FLV files in the zip download were playable in VLC. I thought that maybe connect Office had something, but no direct download was available there either.

    Am I missing something?

The box should allow users to Connect Desktop 'look up' records on his computer local. This area, as well as the Admin option must be on for the desktop app to connect to remove records down to the line reading.

Download of the API has been around for years. It all comes down to apply properly. The documentation on this is in the Web Services guide. To connect 9 you can see it here: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/connect/9.0/webservices/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d11a171dd0f3-7 fea_SP1.html

The most commonly used for this function is to make changes to a record that cannot be done in sign, or, as you said, to have multiple versions of the same record on the server allowing you to have their editing differently. You can also assign a URL customized for a record that you download, it's a nice bonus.

  • Qosmio F10: How to record audio and video and use QosmioPlayer

I am owner of a Qosmio F10-122 with TV tuner and I really need HELP. I'm Italian.

    The questions are:
1 QosmioPlayer version 4.0.1 (2005022812) (according to the procedure of the forum) has installed fine but the sensitivity is poor; in any case the question is: is is possible to record videos? Also is it possible to record audio?

2 input and video output are stupid; I can see Windows and QosmioTV on HDTV via DVI/SCART but I can't input in MCE TV or QosmioPlayer any signal IN Composite; so the question is once again how can record AUDIO from my Home stereo or VCR VHS VIDEO?

    3. I only use VIDEO IN to WATCH is not to save: where is my fault?

    Thanks, Marco

    Hello Marco

I did some testing and I can tell you about my experience on Qosmio G20.

    1. as far as I know early versions of Qosmioplayer did not have the registration option but now I hope that your preinstalled version has REC option. If so, please be sure that you have about 5 GB of free space for the recorded material.

It is not important what signal is sent to your Qosmio (TV or VCR VHS-connected) you can find it if you look at the channels. With REC option, you can save what you want. I tested it with my VCR VHS and I recorded some old movies. This material was recorder und great quality was the same as on cassettes. After recording, I started Windows MCE and transferred the material recorded in Windows using Qosmio player utility.

I have not tried, but I put t think you will be able to record audio using only Qosmioplayer.
    2. you can record movies VHS if you connect your VCR VHS on the Qosmio using the antenna cable. Launch Media center Edition (TV option) and scan channels. In my case, I could watch movies VHS on MCE on channel 31. Using REC option you can save all documents of video cassettes. Later, you can change the recorded material and create own DVDs. It really isn't a problem.

Your audio Home Audio recording can be a bit more problematic, and if you want it to be on the professional path you will need a device external and of course some professional recording software.
    3. I don't know what to write here. Just try to do what I already descriebed under 1 and 2.

    Good bye

    I use windows 7.

Also is there a website that I can use for free to scan my computer for problems? It seems he's running slow sometimes.

Hi, aazookeeper.  Your machine must be able to manage the VHS transfer, provided that you have the physical ability to connect the video recorder to the PC.

This process is usually broken down into two stages: 1) convert VCR/VHS from analog signal to digital (and storage on your PC) and 2) edition digitized content and burn it to a DVD.  (Note that you can burn it directly to DVD without having to edit if you wish).

The trickiest part is the analog-digital conversion.  There are many solutions of software/hardware at low cost on the market to connect your recorder to your PC.  Optionally, if you have a digital video camera, you * may * be able to connect the VCR to the camera, then the camera to the PC.   In this case, the camera serves as your digital converter box.  In both cases, search the Web for conversion in dvd pc vhs, and you should be able to find what you need.

Once the conversion is complete, you can change the content and create DVDs as want you.  I think that your PC is pre-loaded with film and utilities DVD you should be able to use for this purpose.

    Hey,.

To be honest, I never heard of Toshiba notebook dv6-1375. Such a model is not known to me

In any case, I think that this transfer is possible only when your computer has a video in the port and most laptop computers have only one video signal.

  • VHS to DVD on Windows DVD Maker

Should which device I plug my DVD player to the computer to convert my movies at home using Windows DVD Maker?

I have Windows Vista and you may not use the answer to another answer which requires Windows 2000 or XP.

I thought to buy a video capture device to help with the process, have a VCR, have my laptop and an external DVD burner if it's useful.  While doing research I read about creating Windows DVD and thought I could use it, but with the capture device is necessary.  It will help me to improve my video transfer or do I have to use one or the other?

A few options... good luck with your project.

Personally, I think that the best way to transfer VHS to DVD is to
Use a DVD/VHS recorder, but if you want to import the images...
and do a little editing see the links below.
