  Make sure that you installed the updates for your software Adobe CS6. Go to help > updates to make sure you have later. One in particular you need to install is CSXS, even if I don't remember the exact name of it.

  After update, restart your computer to ensure that the associated background services are up-to-date.

  Hello

  Since a few days, find it me impossible to validate the HTML with the Dreamweaver CS6 validator, I use it occasionally for a few years, it worked well before and it is up-to-date.

  I click as usual on validate the current document (W3C)

  A popup window opens, that of dreamweaver that will send the document to end of audit service W3C (usual message), I click OK as usual...

  Crowing instead results in the bottom of the Dreamweaver...

  A popup window never seen before appears and tells... You will be redirected to a new website with button choice of Yes or not

  I click Yes and a new popup opens instantly by saying...

  The period of the application of the W3C service has been exceeded. The service (or your Internet connection) doesn't seem to work.

  The Internet connection is functional.

  Someone else has this bug or am I the only one?

  The validation in CS6 tool uses a former link and give an error when used. The W3C has changed their validation algorithm and gave him a new address. Adobe is more updated of CS6, so there is nothing you can do to get the validation to work correctly in the program itself any longer. Newer version have the correct link.

  Use http://validator.w3.org/nu to access the W3C validator.,.

  You can also use the Firefox browser with the HTML Validator extension and a list of errors each time get you a glimpse into the browser itself.

• Can't Localhost to connect in DW CS6

  I have an Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 installation running on my Mac with OS X El Capitan (latest version) as well as the legacy Java runtime.  The program seems to work ok, except that when I go to set a database to be used with MySQL, I put in what follows when asked:

  Login name: localhost

  MySQL server: localhost

  User name: root

  Password: password <>

  Database: one of my databases.

  I click on the TEST button. It flashes for a few seconds, as if flashing a box upward. I get a brief light on something that says "complete." Then, I get an error "an unidentified error has occurred (really very useful!).

  I've set this same database in Netbeans and Coda and during a DW CC test. No problems.

  What is happening with CS6 is not find the MySQL server.  I am running MAMP on my Mac OS X and can be accessed through SequelPro with no problems, too.

  The default MAMP running MySQL on port 8889. Unless you set the web and MySQL ports 80 and 3306, you need to connect to MySQL using localhost:8889.

  Also, are you aware that in Dreamweaver CS6 discouraged use server behaviors functions that have been completely removed PHP 7? Even if you get this job now, you will need to replace all your code when your site is migrating to PHP 7. Security for PHP 5 support ends in December 2018. The clock is ticking loudly.

  Hello people, here is my problem with Dreamweaver CS6

  After the demolition of my old system (macbook pro), I tried to re - install Dreamweaver CS6 on my new macbook (os x - el capitan 10.11.3)

  Here's what I've done so far:

  • Disable dreamweaver cs6 on my old system - did not work
  • read a lot of forum posts... =)
  • contacted support (twitter and in chat) to figure out what to do
  • downloaded adobe application Manager (installation failed with the error message appears, that I am not connected to the internet)
  • dreamweaver online and offline facility did not work, after the serial a message appeared who told me "to connect to internet to sign-in" - once again, the connection was good and functional
  • Downloaded CCleaner to get rid of all the files of adobes that could interrupt the installation
  • has a verified file such that recommended by the assumption (looking all interupting or corupt files that could be the source of the problem)
  • set up a root on my os x account to try another installation here (again, same message has showed that I need to be connected to connect)
  • turned off the firewall to ensure that it is not the reason for the failure of the installation and my anti-vir

  It is not a proxy or another third-party firewall installed. the system beside a few programs I need like firefox or microsoft, as new office stuff.

  So far, I wasn't able to install dreamweaver cs6, nor had the support.

  Does anyone have an idea what to do?

  'Download Support Advisor' is a generic error, and we need to understand what is causing the problem. Most of the time, its a problem with the download was not successful or downloaded correctly.   I can not connect to BC with Dreamweaver. I stayed on the site of BC and followed the instructions and does not connect via FTP or CUPW than elsewhere. Is my username password is wrong (it's not I double checked). I've seen a few threads here, but have not seen a transparency or a response on how they have addressed the situation of the tis. There is no firewall on so FTP is bad.

  The answer is very simple. Must DISCONNECT the crib on CC app on your desktop and then close DW and then open back up everything again. By simply closing DW you would think you are disconnected, but you are not really that you need to disconnect the creative cloud as well. Now you can go and do the recommended process and it works.

  If this is the case, I think that it is perhaps a good idea to uninstall Dreamweaver. Before you reinstall, make sure that your personal configuration file has been deleted (see reinstalling Dreamweaver (or the extensions Manager) fails to solve problems). You should then have a completely clean copy of Dreamweaver has again the default settings of the program.

  I feel as if ADOBE does not care about the new CS6 customers and just went straight for that sort of thing CC, which is really UNFAIR > all CS6 products customers are basically just charged no service the customer in Europe and what you get is basically a merry go round menu drop down repeated pages and forums and no possibility of emergency assistance with real Tech chat rooms support. and no update and this cloud thing is just to make the advertising of products CC for some more revenue and no service.

  Were on a trip in Europe and Europe there is no Chat support, there is a Forum and need help urgently, you are essentially left alone. COULD create ADOBE please at least an update for Dreamweaver CS6 and its many components that need to be updated to 2015 current codes please at least JQuery and mobile applications codes?

  You must define a site in Dreamweaver and need to set up your FTP server. One for that, you can connect with the FTP server where your FrontPage is loaded and you can get the copy of the said locally.
