Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu.

  Reinstall OS X: Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  Assuming that you have chosen not to keep your programs and your files (it certainly seems like that) - then you will need to install Microsoft Office from your installation media using your product key.

  You could try uninstalling Windows Update/installees updates

  Try installing from a clean boot:

  1. Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

  2. Under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
