consistency check runs on Windows, but faield on Linux

Hello:

I do run a DefaultCacheServer instance on my Windows XP machine and start a JUnit test to load a bounch of objects that are generated from a source csv file; Server and the client using a custom configuration. Pof file is also defined by the class of the object in question. The customer node is not used as a storage device.

All the above worked fine.

Now I transfer the code to Linux, and I started DefaultCacheServer without a problem. However, when I started the client, he doesn't have to load objects in the server cache. The error message states:

2011-08-31 15:14:21.533/1.653 Oracle coherence GE 3.7.0.0 < error > (thread = Cluster, Member = 2): this cluster node is configured to use the serializer com.tangosol.io.pof.ConfigurablePofContext {location=/home/XXXX/config/pof-config.xml}, which seems to differ from the serializer used by Member (Id = 1, Timestamp = 2011-08-31 15:13:50.292, Address = xx.xx.xx.xx:XXXX, MachineId = role XXXXX, Location = site: xxxxx.com, machine: xxxxxx, process:xxxxxx, = CoherenceServer).

Of this logging information, can anyone tell what went wrong?

Thank you
John

Hi John,.

This has nothing to do with the o/s but the default consistency by using java.io.serialization to serialize the objects and you must specify explicitly if you want to use POF for serialization. You can specify the serializer to the level of the service in the configuration of cache coherence, either you specify the system property - Dtangosol.pof.enabled = true as a java option in the startup script, but it will allow the POF for the JVM together. In addition, you must specify your configuration pof using - Dtangosol.pof.config = "CONFIG_FILE_PATH". This must be done for the cache server and the client. An incompatibility of the serialization of type on the client and the server causes the error.

You can go through the document http://coherence.oracle.com/display/COH35UG/The+Portable+Object+Format for more options.

I hope this helps!

See you soon,.

I swap to a new HARD drive, but it was several weeks ago and it only happened in the last days. After that reading other threads here I downloaded and executed MGADiag, here is the result:

  • Why the same PDF allows to comment on Windows but not on Linux?

    All,

I have a PDF document that (on version 9.5.1 Adobe Reader on Linux) has its file > properties... > Security > field commenting on the value "unauthorized."  However, I copied the same file on a Windows and Adobe Reader 10.1.3 machine to open.  On the Windows machine, the property of security even said this annotation is authorized.  Why the difference?  I would like to make comments on the Linux version, but it won't give me the tools to highlight or sticky notes.

For what it's worth, all security properties (for example, 'Impression', 'Assembly of Document', '"content copying", etc.)  between the two copies of the PDF are identical.with with the exception of the property of 'comments '.

    Thanks for any help,

    -Steve Ross

Thank you for your detailed review. In my opinion, your table supports my statement, and all is well. I stated (by the Readme) Reader X has been extended to allow the highlighting and sticky notes EVEN when a file is not extended.

Thus, the Linux player, in version 9 and older than this change, should not for a default file display these tools. Since it cannot display these tools and no one else, poster correctly it is CORRECT to say his comments is not allowed.

It seems to me that your table correctly records the difference between version 9 of the reader (Linux or Windows) and version X of the reader (not available for testing on Linux), except that nothing is wrong.

It may not be what we want, but it's a whole different story.

    Hello

I suggest to go to the Task Manager and check the box in the application tab if this application is running, if yes, then try to complete the process and then check if it helps.

Also check in the process tab:

  • Website will run on Windows Mobile, but not air iPad

I am accessing a site of learning of the Red Cross.  When on a Windows machine, I get a page that says "content open in a new window" and a message below says "allow once" or "always allow this Web site.  I answer that question and still very good.  However, when trying to get to my class of learning within the site, when I'm on my Ipad Air, it just seems to hang up.  I see the page 'Content open in a new window' but nothing else and there is no way to continue.  Does anyone know how I can get past this please?

Not every site is optimized for the iOS or mobile devices - if possible use "m" instead of www as m.redcross.org instead of www.redcross.org and check

You can also try with another browser if you wish

Recently, the computer crashed and has never worked properly since. all of this could result by McAfee security, who has recently upgraded?

    original title: error with ehshell.exe

I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 3 and I tried to run Media Center but I get an error message with ehshell.exe. Could you help me?

This problem exists since the 1st Media Center. SP2 and SP3 had a difficulty, but it is obvious that it doesn't always. The same problem still exists in Vista today with a lot of other carried over from XP. System restore would work, but you do not have any good restore points so reinstall an operating system seems to be your only option.

You probably don't want to do an OS reinstall you need for Media Center, but since it does not at all, you might want to play then remove the Media Center updates and or SP3 and reinstall them.

  • When I run IE9, trying to open several windows, but never accually do open. No acually Web site is in place.

When I tried to open IE9 several Windows IE tried to launch. More than 2-14 windows all at once. She is never resolved and no window opens in fact. But it tops out at all my memory and locks every thing upwards. Even try to use to close the Task Manager does not always work. The last appearance was I downloaded a zip file to open it in Internet Explorer, and when I clicked it several windows attempted to open at the same time. I did a scan for viruses with Avira and it was clean except for a single file that had a warning could not open. the file is "iw91POnz.exe". and was located in the: C:\users\Rick\AppData\Local\Temp\iw91POnz.exe. (This is defined as a "file ROOM" - size 8.57 MB. No idea where it came from or what it's attached too.) I deleted the my laptop OK boot file and everything seems to work OK.
Any thoughts on this is appreciated.

  • How to run a 32 bit 64 bit Windows 7 program. I tried troubleshooting and answered, he ran on older versions of Windows, but that did not help. The program is writing more

I'm trying to run a writing more on my new computer with Windows 7. It won't work because it is a 32-bit program. I tried troubleshooting and replied he ran in an earlier version of the window, but it will not always be open. Any suggestions?

... It won't work because it is a 32-bit program...

Writing more is an accounting since the beginning of 1990s and support program was interrupted as of January 31, 2006. While I have no personal experience with the program, it is unlikely he was still 32-bit. It is much more likely that it was a 16-bit program, and that's why you have trouble to install and it works on a 64-bit Windows 7 installation.

If your program or its request for installation is a 16-bit-based program and you have a 64-bit version of Windows it simply does not natively regardless of the compatibility settings. You need to run and install Virtual PC XP Mode to have any chance of a fully operational 16-bit subsystem. If you are running Windows 7 Professional or ultimate, you can use Windows XP Mode and Virtual PC without a second license of Windows.

    Windows Virtual PC
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/Virtual-PC/Download.aspx

Note: you can't run XP Mode on Windows Home editions. If you are running Windows 7 Home Premium or somesuch, you use DosBox or any other program 3rd party virtualization that works with Home Premium. Visit the forums dedicated to these programs for more information.
