constant blinking even interferes with keyboard

For some reason any my computer flashes constantly, never end a program, but it kind of stuttering.  Typing on the keyboard is a real issue... letters jumping with every breath heart glitter

Hello

I did a system restore and the problem was solved.  I'm not sure of the culprit, since the restore point did not exclude these latest updates or new programming.

    Hello

    I have a laptop Toshiba A500-1GL.
I wanted to upgrade with a backlit keyboard, so I went to an authorized Toshiba reseller in my area (Portsmouth, UK) and after checking the laptop, they said yes, it supports a backlit keyboard and it cost around 90 pounds (about 140 dollars) the price of the backlit keyboard and the cost of installation.
    So I said okay, let...

But the keyboard does not work!
I went back to the place where I bought, and I asked the guy (yet) "are you sure that my laptop takes in charge the backlit? ... He said yes, and in fact he removed the keyboard and showed me 2 connectors (one to attack the keyboard and fix the lighting cable)

Then. My computer supports portable backlit keyboard... But it's not working!
I tried to reinstall the package added value, Flash card... Chipset... almost anything!
But it still does not (it should work when I click Fn + Z)

    What can I do now?

I can't return the keyboard, because the guy said "sry its now use!
So, what should I do? Is there something I should install/remove I'm missing or what?

    Any help will be appreciated...

    See you soon.

    Hello

What to say either the technician has done something wrong or the laptop is not extensible.

As far as I know the keyboard lighting is controlled by the BIOS.
In my case, I can disable and enable it in the BIOS.

I don't know if your BIOS contain this option, but you could check it
Please note that each model of mobile phone is supported and some BIOS each BIOS is different.

In my opinion if the BIOS does not support this feature you so would not be able to activate the lighting, even if the keyboard has been installed.

  • S50-B-12Z - sleep and charge satellite interferes with built-in webcam

    Hello
    I have a Toshiba SATELLITE S50-B-12Z with Windows 8.1.
Recently, when using Skype, the built-in webcam has stopped working.

At first, I thought it broke, until I tried to use the camera application.
This app does blue light and work the webcam, but for a second, then the Toshiba sleep and load the application is passed in and stopped and it starts to alternate between the camera and the blue light and the small window of sleep and the load.

So, with no remedy for this situation, I tried the recovery option to get factory settings, same question once again, alternating between the camera and sleep behavior and load.

I tried a refreshment and uninstall the Toshiba sleep and load the software and alternative behavior stopped, but now the webcam does not work. Update another and the same all over again.

I'm not an expert, but for what I see the webcam is related, in this model, for the USB hardware, so I think that sleep and charge feature interferes with the web cam (even when the software is uninstalled).

    Ideas for this problem?
    Thank you in advance.

    Bujar

    Hi Sonia

To be honest, I don t think that sleep & service or this service would affect the features of webcam.
TOSHIBA sleep utility allows you to charge USB devices such as a cell phone with the computer in standby mode or even stop mode. This is why there should be no link between this function and webcam

I can't say with certainty what's going wrong with your internal webcam but the fact is that in many cases the webcam and sleep function & load could be turned on and off in the BIOS.

In my opinion, you should perform a few checks.
First set the default BIOS settings (load default by pressing F9) and check if the webcam is enabled in the BIOS.

Second if you think that there is still a link between sleep and charge function and the webcam, then disable the sleep and the load in the BIOS, just to check if it will make a difference.

  • In more of microwave ovens and cordless phones... can TV, VCRs interfere with WIRELESS signals.

    WIFI & PHONES WIRELESS, ETC.

In more of microwave ovens and cordless phones... can TV, VCRs interfere with WIRELESS signals.  I had to buy a cordless phone and it was always in the sealed box.  I was then with a laptop to the library branch when the librarian approached me and said that "even if unconnected cordless phones and microwave ovens, as well as TVS, VCRs and vacuums... can cause interference with the optimal speed of WIFI and efficiency... »

Can someone explain if it is absolutely correct.  Of course, I politely responded that given that the laptop was still in its original packaging and seal (I had just bought and not even opened) and unplugged, it could not interfere with anything.
    Please specify.
    Thank you.

A non powered device (not plugged in, no batteries, etc.) cannot intervene in anything at all.  No power, no transmission, no interference. However, any electronic device can interfere to some extent with any other wireless signal, if it is running.

  • Strange AnyConnect IPv6 interfere with IPv4 scenario

I ran across this scenario last week and I don't know if I am missing something simple or if it is a real problem.

Problem: It seems that ip6 can interfere with the IP4 VPN connections.

My network is an extensive network of all the State affecting other agencies of the State (usually by having the firewall between us and them have VPN outside our firewall). Last week I set up a VPN connection to one of these organizations and connect them. The VPN configuration is a scenario of tunnel of split where they use the VPN tunnel for a specific application and all other traffic remains local.

During testing, I noticed that the user could achieve some of their local resources, but not all. After a few basic troubleshooting, we determined that any time the user tried to achieve a local resource who had the ability of the IP6 (Please note that IP6 has not been configured, just cooked in the operating system) that they were not able to access this resource. However, they could reach IP4 resources without any problem. Ip6 was "unchecked" to the NETWORK card on the client and the resource server. Another resource told me that IP6 is impossible to be cut in 2008 and newer because microsoft has linked the many features and services OS inside.

Simple ping tests proved that when the user attempted to reach resources with IP6 "built in" all traffic was trying to use IP6 by default (unless we used the switch-4 to force the IP4). The command prompt window would show a "General failure" when trying to ping any of these resources IP6.

I was able to reproduce this problem in a different environment where a user VPN connects, try to ping several domain controllers and those who are 2008 and most recent attempt to answer over the IP6, then the old boxes answer on IP4. Needless to say that I'm getting nervous because it could alter a ton of services if/when the old domain controllers are upgraded.

Does anyone have experience with this? I'm afraid that IP6 is the Protocol 'default' even when it is not configured and it is originally the users connected with Any Connect unable to access these resources even if the latter running IP4 and.

Looks like that when you prefer IPv4 to IPv6 in Windows 2008 or Windows 8 and restart solve you the problem.

    Thank you

  • Is there a way to make the character will blink or squint with one eye?

    Hi all!

Is there a way to make the character will blink or squint with one eye? For example, in the 'Customize-> head' - Section only, I can customize some points on both eyes at the same time, but I have not found a way to make the character 'close' one eye so that it looks as if it is kind of flashing. It is even possible to do it with fuse... or IM just in the wrong place?

    Thanks in advance!

Fabian Hey!  Fuse face expressions are more than one aspect of this face when you ask 'preview' it have rather intended for the laying of the real face.  We generally recommend leaving the fuse facial expressions and make laying in Photoshop, once you get there!  Here is a screenshot showing where you can access controls of the face in Photoshop.  That being said - I didn't "think that we have a unilateral wink or blink in fuse or Photoshop at the moment.  Might be interesting to post an idea in the forum of ideas for "better facial posing?"

    1. Select the 3D layer in the layers panel
    2. Select the skeleton of the character in the 3D Panel
    3. In the properties of the Panel change to the tab 'face '.
    4. Select an expression of search results
    5. Adjust the expression using the sliders and the offsets

  • One of my javascript interfere with other javascript in the drop-down nav menu

I use javascript for a slideshow and scroll to images in my home page. The thread is that I realized that now, there is another javascript in the page that I don't remember call myself and it seems that connects both slideshows and also interferes with the drop down menu script menu, which now does not work.

I used Magento, so that the header is not part of the same page. I don't know if is a Magento or something to Dreamweaver, that this new javascript was placed in the home page.

    Here's the url: http://www.southsunbeads.com

" These two javascripts go with the main top page show: src = ' http://www.southsunbeads.com/website/slideshow/jQuery-1.2.6.Pack.js ">

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.southsunbeads.com/website/slideshow/simplegallery.js">

This one is part of the scroll image at the bottom: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.southsunbeads.com/website/carousel/stepcarousel.js">

But then I have this one, that is causing all the problems and is apparently plug everything together, when I tried to remove it, slide shows stop working.

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

I don't know javascript, so I have no idea how to fix this problem. Basically what I need is that the menu on the top doesn't get affected by these other javascripts.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you

Happy to be useful even in such a non-Dreamweaver related question ;-)

And here's my usual Mantra as "watchdog" for this particular forum: questions better in the future such regular Dreamweaver general discussion post or (where it s a PHP related question) the Dreamweaver Application Development forums. The current forum addresses issues related to uninstall Dreamweaver extension, which generates the server-side code and has been abandoned for more than a year, that is, the number of fellow forum participants is much more out there in the forums of regular Dreamweaver - who knows, some of them might even be familiar with Magento and could advise you better than what you have here ;-)

    Cheers and good luck,

  • OtterBox interfere with reception? (iPhone 6)

    • iPhone: 6
    • Carrier: Verizon - reception home *.
    • Case: OtterBox Defender series

Deleted my OtterBox to clean an area of my house that reception is usually in a bar (dot, regardless). I looked at the lock screen and I got 3 bars. Make a call from this place. My friend heard me perfectly.  I walked around my house, which previously, the call dropped everytime. Yet once, my friend heard me perfectly all the time without loss of connection, no sizzle, no noise at all. Asked about the decline in coverage (before today) Verizon said I must be in a pocket with the interference of the tower and they tried to sell me their in-home services.

    • ONLY difference today: deleted Otter Box. No trees cut, no new turn in space, without whimsical wind, any sharp fall in the foliage.
    • Research: Articles I've seen are old (2012, 2013), refer to the older phone models, saying the OtterBox does not interfere, but I don't see any other explanation.  Is this a problem for someone else?

There is nothing in an Otterbox case which would interfere with RF reception. It is possible, I suppose, that there is some minor problems of the material with your phone, which is aggravated by the case put the pressure or torque light somewhere. I make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple store and show them the problem.

  • I'm being invited to update Firefox, but after consultation with the details, I conclude that it can interfere with my Windows XP. How can I stop the guests?

I always use (and will not update) Windows XP. The details of an update of Firefox indicate that the new version (that I don't need) can interfere with XP. I want to have Firefox stop invites me for an update. How can I do this? I just continue to select "Ask Me later". Is there a more permanent solution?

Firefox 32.0.3 works great on Windows XP and contains many important security patches - actually, 'night' of pre-release Tester 35 Firefox version works fine, too.

  • Several TV with Apple TV in one room and over an ipad, they will interfere with eachother via airplay?

I intend to have 2 separate in a single room, TV screens both have boxes Apple TV connected via HDMI and there is no internet connection. I wish I could use 2 ipads separated in the room with all of them connected to one of the TV at the same time. These will connect via airplay independently not to interrupt it when the connection / disconnection? I want to just make sure that when a person is going to connect on the airtime that it does not interfere with the other person already connected to one of the TV. I hope this makes sense.

    What you're trying to achieve?

You will need a WiFi network.  In addition, you will encounter the questions initially put in place without an internet connection of your ATV.

With all of the above present, it is possible to get to work.

  • Satellite A660 - upgrade with keyboard backlight

I have a Toshiba Satellite A660-141. Initially, it was without backlid keyboard, but I recently bot a replacement with feature backlit for my laptop, but when I connect all backlit do not work... Can someone help me to activate it? All the world has the same replacement?

    Hello

I have this model of laptop, but AFAIK this light in the BIOS option is for function buttons. With this option, you can enable/disable illumination for these buttons.
In my opinion it has nothing to do with the keyboard.
Mobile phones with keyboard backlit have BIOS option for keyboard only and you don't have it so I think that it is not supported by the BIOS and upgrade is not possible.
