  First you should check if s for computer laptop USB port support the Sleep & Charge feature.
  USB ports support load & sleep are marked with a small sign of flash.

  In the case of the laptop supports this feature, you should take the next step and must check if sleep & support is enabled in the BIOS.
  To access the BIOS, press F2 during the turn on/off the unit.
  Note: the device should be turned off (hybrid closed must be disabled)

  AFAIK this option should be available in the BIOS settings, or you can sleep and charge utility preinstalled on your laptop where you can activate it.

  Open Toshiba Assist > Optimize > there you should find the link to start USB Sleep and fresh.

  I really put t know what problems you have with the NB100 and why it of so difficult for you to check if the BIOS contains the USB load option and sleep.

  To my knowledge, the NB100 supports 3 USB ports with Sleep and Charge function.
  But if you want to know if it s on or off then press F2 immediately after that the laptop was turned on to get access to the BIOS Setup.

• Qosmio F60-136: Impossible to disable the USB sleep-and-Charge in hibernation mode

  USB sleep-and-Charge function is marked as disabled in BIOS (v2.70).
  This can be checked with Sleep Utility (v1.4.1.5) where the function also seems to be disabled.

  I tried all the settings I can think off, but I can't seem to get the USB sleep and work load. My OS is Windows Vista Business SP1.
  I tried the mode 1, mode 2, unchecked power save all the boxes in hubs usb root, legacy usb support turned off but still the load stops when I put the laptop to sleep.

  Someone at - it a solution?

  NOT all USB ports provide the features of sleep & Charge.
  THAT the USB port with the little icon flash supports the costs of sleep &.

  So I recommend you to check if you have used the correct USB port!

  Hello Toshiba people,

  I used Satellite A665 - 14F PSAW3E more than 2 years and I have really no problem with my webcam, until today. I realized all of a sudden (when I entered the website that requires a webcam) that my webcam is not working. (It works perfectly). My laptop stopped seeing to the integrated webcam.

  First, I checked the 'device manager' to find and check the driver of it, but I couldn't find the webcam. In fact I don't know in which category in Device Manager, I'm supposed to see. After that, I uninstalled the Webcam Application from Toshiba of the thing "Add/Remove Programs" of Windows. I found the Driver + Kit application to the webcam in my laptop Toshiba's European Web site and installed. He asked me to restart after uninstalling and installing both. I did both times. It is still not fixed. In addition, now light blue right next to the webcam (which is supposed to be activated when the webcam is active) is lit permanently, which is really annoying...

  The only other detail I can give to you guys, it's that I realized that I have an "unknown device" with an error icon yellow triangle on it in the category of the 'USB Bus controllers '. Could be related to my problem, as if the webcam is also associated USB hardware? Cause I believe that this unknown hit-and-run driver appeared in the same day with my webcam problem.

  I guess that's the internal webcam.
  Webcam module is connected to the USB controller on the motherboard and the yellow exclamation point means that software webcam was not installed correctly.

  In your case, I recommend first of all:
  (1) uninstall the software of webcam again
  (2) remove the unknown device Bus USB controllers in Device Manager (mark and press DELETE)
  (3) install CCLeaner tool can clean the registry and the system
  (4) restart the laptop and install the webcam software once more.

• Satellite L500-1WG - built in webcam does not work

  My built-in web cam is not working, I discovered last week, and I have tried a few solutions as uninstall, then reinstall the driver but that work.

  Also I delete my system restore to save space so I can't really go back to when it worked.
  I don't think I installed all the drivers webcam lately, so I don't think that was it.

  Hi, I have a dell studio 17 laptop computer and recently got it fixed because of the virus. Now, before I had a short cut to the Central webcam. Now even if it says in the control panel and inside the device manager says its installed and everythings fine I can actually get this device works. I can make it work when on Instant Messaging such as Skype, but I also use the screen small webcam for taking videos and pictures. Ive tried to check the drivers and it say everything is fine and updated day there.help?

• Cannot turn off option "sleep and fresh."

  I can't turn off the option "sleep" and fresh. I did not need, and it disrupts the functioning of my scanner. Apparently, we should have two types of USB ports: with the sign 'Flash' (used for the options 'sleep... ") and normal. I have on the left side of my black ports two laptops and Satellite on the right two blue ports.

  I can't find the sign "lightning" anywhere and sleep... ' icon appears whenever I plug the scanner; This happens for all 4 ports. I entered the "sleep...". ' Set up the menu and try to disable this option, but it does not work. I tried to uninstall the option "sleep...". ', but it does not appear on the list of programs, you can uninstall.
