  When I create a new page via 'Copy of the current page', the new page always gets an additional line of code. Contribute CS5 adds a paragraph that pushes my browsing down in the content area of my site. Can someone please help me get to stop this?

  Thank you, kCUI. Who did the trick. I found if I deleted a specific folder in the CS5ServiceManager folder that would launch Contribute. Namely:

  C:/Users / [...] / AppData/Roaming/Adobe/CS5ServiceManager/extensions/ConnectionsHomeOMBackend /.

  Remove the ConnectionsHomeOMBackend directory (and leaving the rest of CS5ServiceManager alone) has solved the problem for me.

  That wouldn't be a problem to Contribute. If your Internet access provider is configured to open the default index file, then the end user won't actually type index.html at the end of the URL, if that's what you're worried about.

  For example, instead of typing on http://valetingcars.com/index.html , they just type http://valetingcars.com and it will take them to the default page.

  If you want to CHANGE the file name so you can simply open the file in post mode, then choose file > Actions > publish as new page and choose any desired file name. Keep in mind that if you do not have an index.html file then the user will have to type in the full URL rather than just http://valetingcars.com

  If this is not the info you are looking for, you will need to give me some clearer descritions of what you want.

• When I open the site in Contribute CS5, it moves items to the bottom of the page that are not in the regions of editiable

  Site was created in DW CS5 and so it is edited in DW it's fine. The minute you click on edit in Contribute CS5 text, links, and div tags is pushed to the bottom of the page. This is before I touch event whatever it is in an editable and the elements that are affected are not in an editable? If I go ahead and make changes in the region of editiable and save, he recorded with all of these elements encountered towards the bottom of the page.   Or if you have FTP access to the server, go to the. LCK file location and delete the file .lck page, that you are not able to change it.
