Control Parental Windows block Facebook photos without reason.

I watched this: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistasecurity/thread/9c603e9e-87ea-45b1-b136-084a42968fa0 response and is not useful.

Hi glgymajor,

I have setup a user account and restrictions to control parental of installation to block pornography and tried myself, and I see that windows is blocking all content of the field of facebook

  • Control Parental Windows blocks from across the Web

Well, before you start, please don't tie me to the same danged tutorial. I have NEED OF KNOWLEDGE HOW CONFIGURE THE PARENTAL CONTROLS. I NEED TO KNOW HOW to STOP BLOCK ACROSS the WEB . You see, here's the deal: the setting on my user account is block only pornography, adult content, bomb, Cook, drugs, etc.. The box marked "unrateable content" is not checked. And yet, it does not block all the web only on this basis: I'll have to use the administrator account to access the same this! And so I thought, let's restart it in safe mode, because the computer doesn't even have the parental controls in safe mode. But here, even in safe mode, the entire web is blocked on the unrateable content database.

Yet once, please don't tie me to this danged tutorial bleepingcomputer you people seem to thing is a panacea for everything here. And please excuse me if I look a little snippy. I am right now (I hope it's understandable) a little frustrated.

    Suggestion only:

Login to your admin account > create a new user account > set up Parental controls in this new account with exactly the same restrictions > disconnect.

Logon to the newly created user account > no parental control blocks all Web sites?

  • Control parental Windows installed and it won't access family safety Web page

Hi, I installed Windows Essential 2012 on my gateway (running Windows7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit).  I want to run Family Safety, which currently runs on my two laptops (running Windows 8.1 and Windows7 Home Premium SP1 32-bit).  After you have installed Windows Essentials, when I try to open the parental controls on a standard user account, it will not open a browser window to the parental Windows web page (have IE installed 11).  The program does nothing, even if it shows the Windows parental control as the program of choice.   I tried the following:

-Repair Windows Essentials 2012 - does not solve the problem

-Uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Essentials 2012 - does not solve the problem

-Tried to create a new standard user account - does not allow me to install parental controls with Windows parental control

-J' I also have to make sure that Windows is up to date, confirmed with Windows Update and all available patches/updates are installed

I have uninstalled Windows Essentials again and am currently using the basic parental control Windows7, but really want to use the Windows parental control program.  Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Shawn

    Hi Shawn,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

Rest assured that I will do my best to help you solve this problem.

Before you begin, make sure that each child that you want to set up Parental controls for a standard user account. Parental controls can only be applied to standard user accounts. The only way to move files or Folders/subfolders without causing problems, which does not create a 'missing files' is to go to the bosom of the Organizer, not the operating system (Win/Mac).

You can create folders and move images of the Organizer.

Note that if you move the files of several subfolders in one alone, you run the risk of wanting to move files with the same file name in the same folder; your operating system will not allow that. If the Organizer will rename images if necessary.

If you want to do such a task big reorganization, absolutely do a complete backup before. There is no advantage for a reorganization organizing point of view, but if you need it for some reason, it must be done from the Organizer.

  • Windows Narrator 8 - activated without reason Volume keys

    Hello

Im a new owner for the DELL XPS 12

No problems with my volume keys because they were used to control the volume

Turn on my laptop today and all a sudden volume key makes the screen flashes and the + volume button turns the Narrator. My hard volume keys have now no other function than the Narrator.

Is there a way I can disable the shortcut key?

(I'm not asking the disabling of the Narrator, I know, its ease of access, im asking how to disable this shortcut)

Hi, I had this problem myself on the Surface Pro 2, and it seems to be caused by the machine to think that the Windows key is held down.

Win + flight Up is the shortcut to start Narrator
Win + flight Down is the shortcut to take a screenshot, which reduces the brightness of your screen (the screenshots appear to be installed by default in ~ \Pictures\Screenshots)
What fixed it for me was simply touch the Windows key on the front of my camera a couple of times.
    Good luck everyone,
    -Sami

Then check your other running applications & Manual of your PC - if this isn't a Windows sound, then it must belong to someone else.

You can confirm that it is someone else by restarting in safe mode [press F8 during the restart].  See boot (including safe mode) advanced options, How to solve a problem by performing a clean boot

After using the system in safe mode for more than the chime interval, add in each of your normal applications until the restart.

  • my account has been temporarily blocked without reason in December and I can not even access

OK, so in December, my old account was temp blocked without reason, when I didn't play the call of duty with my uncle and his friends. two days later is when it happened. I tried to contact support several times and they always say they can't discuss why it was blocked or when it will be unlocked. Only one, that I talked to sent me here and the rest ignore me and close my support requests without answering. I do not understand why I am blocked nearly 3 years of being a good sport. I swear, when you kill me and when they start talking about the trash I cut the. was still almost 4 months of gold left, which will not be refunded. The main reason I have my account is to play with friends and family who I don't get to see because we are in different States, and it gives us a way to always play things together. Can someone help me please. PS This is my all microsoft account that is blocked not only on xbox.

If Microsoft has said they cannot discuss, what makes you think we can do something? This is a user forum.

  • Parental controls in Windows 7

I am trying to set up a standard account with parental controls on Windows 7 and have Norton Security installed.  I'm blocking access to the majority of installed programs, but don't know if I should leave that everything related to Norton Security so that it works as expected. Am I suppose to allow any Norton-related programs for the program works properly or even Norton will work as it is supposed to if nothing is done?

    Hello

You can use the Windows 7 or your security 3rdparty Parental control software. Of Windows 7 Parental control options cannot be combined with your security 3rdparty software. It would be better if you check the Parental control option that would suit you better. If you decide to keep your control Parental of Windows 7, you can leave your such security 3rdparty software what.

    Kind regards

  • Cannot disable Parental controls in Windows 7

A few months ago I turned on "Parental controls" in Windows 7 and installed Windows Live Essentials which enabled Windows Live Family Safety.  Then set up controls on the connection of my sons account.  It worked well to block his access to select programs and Web sites.

I now want to delete controls on his account and also completely disable Parental control, will have problems.

I signed in to Live parental controls and turned off all the selections.  But his account still has restrictions and can not run programs that were previously blocked.  It is still block.  They work fine if I launch them from my Admin account or standard wife.  But not standard account of my son.

If I change the 'provider' to 'None' then click on account of my son, I get the error msg...  "Impossible to make changes to parental controls settings. If the problem persists, see your system administrator.  UH... I am the admin.

What I noticed is, if I look at the screen carefully when I click on his account, I see what I think, this is the screen adjustment "Parental control" or by a Commission for a half second before getting the error.

I searched and tried different steps in this area and on the web. Most seem to want to refer to a Vista system, mine is Win 7.

I did cmd level scans as "SFC/scannow", stopping the service and allow the account administrator by default to connect and try to leave, but none of these work.

Even uninstalled the 'Parental control' part Live Essentials and no luck and reinstalled complete essentially no effect.

I've been on before IE8, IE9 attended, so he just went back to IE8 with no effect (didn't expect not but just to try).

In short, it seems that Parental control is glued ON and now has his hooks in my son's account and will not let go.  I don't want to delete his account and set up a new account, as this will work around the question for my son for now, but leave the service is running and the problem.

My system is running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.   My account is an administrator.  My son has a Standard account.  The programs work very well through other accounts simply not hers.

So, how can I get out his account to parental authority and then how do I disable / stop completely, the Parental control itself?

    Frolin

    Hi FrolinMarek,

    Method: 1

  • Cannot make changes to the parents control settings (Windows 7)

I've seen several comments regarding this same problem, but so far no solution.

I am the administrator, but I get an error when I try to access the parent on standard accounts control settings.  Now, what's even weirder, is that I am able to access ONE of the standard accounts, and there is nothing different between this account and others.

I have tried all the solutions already posted:

    -running 'services.msc' and the implementation of parent controls (which is said by the way, says "this service is a stub for of Windows Parental control feature that existed in Vista", which is strange, it's as if there's no 'Parental control' in Windows 7?);

-create a new administrator account via the control panel (in the case where my administrator account is corrupt), by restarting and trying to put Parental controls

    -create a new administrator account using the command prompt "net user administrator / Active: Yes";

-in the course of running "sfc/scannow".

    ANY OTHER IDEAS?

Did you you run regedit as an administrator? It is a common problem in trying just new values. This is done by right-clicking on the program and selecting "Run as Administrator". This allows you to write new values.

If you would like more information on this subject by me, read the last post on page 3 here:
If you have recently encountered this problem, I would recommend a system restore, and I explain the reasons in the tread above.
    I hope this helps!

I blocked some photos in facebook by accident, the toddler got click happy. How can I remove this block in some photos?

With Facebook on display, click the button to the site identity (for more details on what is, see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Site+Identity+Button) and then on more information. This will open the page info dialog box.

First, select the permissions tab, make sure that 'Load the Images' is set to allow (default selection should work as well)

Then select the media tab, and then click the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll the list. If any element has the option 'Images of block of (field name)' selected, deselect the option.

This should hopefully solve your problem, but see also https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Images+or+animations+do+not+show

Some add-ons can also block images, for example, if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block images.
