Conversion of a "differential" connection for connection "CSR".

Hello

I'm dealing with a measuring system that has already used a "CSR" connection to measure certain voltage signals and it worked well. There is now a new data acquisition (NI USB 6353) and the "differential" connection is used. However, the measures are not more correct.

I know that it would be possible to change the method of connecting to "CSR" as it used in changing the VI but in this case, it would be difficult since I don't have easy access to the DAQ device more.

So the question is this:

Is it possible to manually change a "differential" connection to a "CSR" connection simply by unplugging cables now used GND signal and connect the ports of entry in the GND of the NI USB 6353 ports? This type of connection would be practically the same as using "CSR"?

Any help is appreciated.

Said already that your negatives were all terrain?  If you just need to make sure that the reason for your signal corresponds to the ground for the acquisition of data.  And to do this, you must connect a pattern of your object to measure data acquisition (IE link your patterns together).

  • Conversion of jpg to ASCII for code output ZPL-Zebra printer

    I print on a Zebra ZM400 using the ZPL code. I can upload images to the printer using Zebra utilities and I remember these images to print on a label, but I have to be able to download pictures using the ZPL code (using the ~ DG command). The ~ DG command needs the JPG image to ASCII format. I have other images that were already converted to ASCII (by someone else) that I am able to print, so I know what I do works as expected, however my problem is that I have new images which must be converted to ASCII format required and I don't know how to do this.

    So, my goal is to print a picture on a Zebra printer, but my real question is to know how to convert a JPG image to ASCII format (for the Zebra printer).

    Let me know if you need more information.

    Thank you

    Hi Emily,.

    Unfortunately, I have not well understand how this has been done before that the person who had previously completed a conversion is no longer works for our company.

    The ZM400 printer uses ZPL II of Zebra language to create/format of labels and the printer setup/order. Instead of download chart (~ DG), I am now using the command object download (~ DY), located in the ZPL II (182 p) programming guide. This allowed me to use a. File PNG rather than JPG, which was easier to work with.

    http://www.Zebra.com/apps/dlmanager?DLP=-227178c9720c025483893483886ea54a70963bb77ca94fcc1d65ce93943...

    I was able to use a modified version of your suggested method to make it work. The ~ DY command takes a parameter (data) which is a 'hexadecimal ASCII string defining the image', which is defined as: "the data string sets the image and is a hexadecimal representation of ASCII image. Each character represents a horizontal nibble by 4 points. "So the method you suggested is exactly what I had to do, however I didn't say that it must be represented in hexadecimal ASCII code.

    I converted the binary file reads (of the PNG) data into a byte array, then made a (padded two-digit in hexadecimal) number of channels within a loop conversion For to give the ASCII representation of the binary data. This gives a hexadecimal representation of ASCII to binary data. VI is attached.

    Thanks for your help!

    I encountered another problem: the PNG files took an eternity for the printer load into memory when printing (compared to the same image in Zebra. GRF format). I solved this re-reading the file saved on the printer, where it is native. GRF format (using the ^ HG command), then re-recording this output (now in the ZPL code formatted) to the printer. I guess there is a way to convert directly to the. Format of the GRF, but for now it does not work in my case.

    Thanks again!

  • How to set the differential input for personal iotech Daq/3000 mode

    Hi all

    I currently use personal iotech daq/3000 for the acquisition of data from the accelerometer.

    I got readings of the analog input, while there seems to be no configuration for the differential mode.

    What I have is:

    selection of material - personaldaq / 3000:direct

    Double click on, then:

    Channel installation, there should be a selection of differential mode, I guess. But this is not.

    Thank you very much

    Alan

    Have you reviewed the C:\Program Files\DASYLab 10.0\manuals\IOtech_DAQ_notes. PDF? Or the help of equipment?

    The section of material assistance, using the analog inputs with DASYLab, includes pictures to show how to do this.

    Open hardware driver.

    Click the line Analog Input Channels, and then right-click to open the properties. This will display a dialog box that allows you to set the properties.

  • Measurement of differential tension for voltage range 0-20 V

    I'm trying to understand the best way to measure the internal tensions in a pile of electrolyser containing 10 cells.  Voltage range is 0 - 20V, with each measure 0 - 2V voltage differential.   I know that each module on a NOR-DAQ (6218, 6210, 6009, etc.) can not see voltages greater than 10V.    If I use the AISense or the second Chamber of the ground to the high tension of the first 5 cells (~ 10V), I will damage the Board or which will allow me to reach the upper limit of 20V of the system.  In addition, I need to be able to measure the voltages at the same time.

    If there is a piece like hardware or the Commission on this topic, please let me know.  I write on the multifunction DAQ card because it is the material that I am familiar(-ish) with and that's what we have at home right now.

    Hi sbrawn,

    I recommend reading the high voltage and DevZone isolation measures.

    If you are looking for a DAQ hardware that has a range of over 10 V voltage, I recommend searching the catalog of products here.

  • conversion of data in series for the indicator

    I have a simple VI that I use to read data from a serial device streams.

    The data are in a three-byte code, where the first byte is an 'o' and the 2nd byte

    data and the third byte is one don't care end character.

    What I want to do is to input the value of byte 2 and use that value to set an indicator of ringtone.

    Two problems I'm having is the data looks sometimes like garbage and I'm not able

    to convert this number as Double ring indicator (button) accepts...

    Here's what I see:

    Change the button to be a U8.  Which would be more logical, since you only use a single byte.  Take your string and use the string into byte array.  You now have a table of U8.  Array index allows to get the second byte and connect it to your button.

    I would also change the channel indicator display style to be hexadecimal values.  The data will make more sense.

  • Conversion table problem (FM unstructured for DITA, cannot create valid choicetable)

    Hello

    I'm trying to set up a table of FM migration to DITA. I was able to map most of my paintings on the table suuported in DITA style CLIENT access licenses, but I can not choicetables right.

    My problem is the element specific FM for the body of the table.

    It's my conversion table:

    choicetbl1_2.gif

    And that's what I get:

    choicetbl1_1.gif

    Where is my mistake? I tried several variants for fm-chbody, but the result is always the same.

    Thanks for any help

    Susanne

    Susanne,

    Two observations:

    First, I tried your table of conversion to FM 10. As it is, I failed to the package body element. However, when I changed the first cell in the line fm-chbody to + TB:E:chrow or simply TB:chrow +, the element of body wrapped as expected.

    Second, the Structure display you proposed shows that items in your results the fm-chheadrow and Charles are the two children of the tbody element. So, it seems that the two types of lines in your unstructured document appear as body lines. Applying a conversion of a document informal table cannot move content from a header to a body line line. Your fm-chheadrow rule only applies to lines in a table header and your fm-chbody rule applies only when all the lines in the body of the table are mapped to the Charles. Try to move the first line of your table to a header row and see what happens.

    Good luck.

  • Conversion of CS3 RAW (NEF) for D7200

    I am a continuous user of CS 3 and I just bought a Nikon D7200. The converter of RAW (NEF) files, that I used with my D90 is no longer applicable.

    I checked on the Adobe site and it seems that the upgrade to 9 RAW converter should fix this for me, but it doesn't.

    Is there a solution that does not require an updated version of the PS?

    I tried the DNG Converter and it works and I'm reluctant to create duplicate of 25 MB files.

    Richard

    I checked on the Adobe site and it seems that the upgrade to 9 RAW converter should fix this for me, but it doesn't.

    Devices supported by Camera Raw

    As you say, the D7200 has been initially supported by Camera Raw 9.0 but versions of Camera Raw are compatible with different versions of Photoshop.

    See the compatibility list here that shows that Camera Raw 9 is only compatible with CS6 and Cloud versions.

    Camera Raw plugin and Adobe application compatibility

    Is there a solution that does not require an updated version of the PS?

    Only the DNG Converter or buying Lightroom then convert to DNG.

    I tried the DNG Converter and it works and I'm reluctant to create duplicate of 25 MB files.

    If you stay with the CS3 version, then convert to DNG is your best option.

  • BSOD after conversion to Amazon EC2 instance for workstation 8

    I have an existing instance of Windows 2008 R2 in Amazon EC2, which I am trying to convert to VMware Workstation so I can use it to test scenarios.  I followed the steps listed in the following article and was able to correctly convert the instance in a virtual machine in VMware Workstation 8.0.5:

    http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1018015

    The problem I'm having is that when I turn the virtual computer I get a BSOD during the boot sequence (see attached screenshot).  I saw a fix from Microsoft for BSOD caused by storport.sys, however, this patch describes a problem that occurs gradually over a period of time due to a leak of memory, which doesn't seem like the same problem I am experiencing.  I think it has something to do with a mismatch of disk controller drivers.  How can I solve this problem?

    http://filedb.experts-exchange.com/incoming/2013/03_w10/639804/vm.png

    You need to access somehow on the target disks. You can use VMware Workstation to mount the VMDK target or you can temporarily attach the drive containing the Windows directory to an another Windows VM (in this case, you must open disk management and select command analyze disks in the Actions menu and the new virtual disk from VM Amazon converted should become visible). After that:

    * run regedit on this machine

    * Select the HKLM hive

    * on the file menu, select "Load hive" command

    * Go to the hive of the registry SYSTEM target (under WINDOWS\system32\config\system * on the target disk * that was attached to the virtual machine, but * No * the directory of Windows running)

    * Choose a name for the new key (e. g. ec2-system)

    * Go to ec2-system\ControlSet001\Services

    * Search for the three drivers and delete the keys of any

    * then again select the ec2-system under HKLM key

    * on the file menu, select the command "Unload hive" and close Regedit

    * Remove the VMDK mounted or detach the virtual disk target virtual machine "temporary".

    Turn on the converted virtual computer

  • Size conversion of an iPad App for iPhone

    Hi all -

    I think I know the answer to this question, but please let me know if I'm missing something. A customer has a filled iPad app but now wants an iPhone size as well. If I am not mistaken, this would require a completely new and updated dimension on the page of the application, including the new strengthening of some of the features. This isn't like a sensitive site where I just changed a few things. I'm afraid some might think that it is an easy task, whereas in fact, it takes some time to rebuild the entire application to a whole new dimension.

    Thank you.

    There is no automatic way to do this. You will need to re-design all content for the iPhone.

    If you are a single Creative Cloud Edition customer of construction apps know that we don't support iPad with simple editing. If you want to publish on iPhone, you need a professional DPS or business account.

  • Conversion from RGB to CMYK for print causes darkening and loss of detail on the page.

    I work in CS5 to create figures in a very wide range of colors. I use filters and adjustment layers to achieve the desired effects, so my images are degraded and high contrast design. I usually only work for the web, so I've never had need to convert my images in a CMYK working space. I started to make prints of some of my work, and I noticed I lose not only in detail, but dynamism as well. A lot of the darker areas are together burrs, and some of the areas of light contrasted against dark look less intelligible than when I created it on the screen.

    My first attempt at printing has been at a Staples, that could be part of the problem. I had saved in CMYK TIFF and JPEG files. TIFF files looked terrible, but the JPEG has a little more clarity in printing. One of my TIFF files displayed on the computer of Staples like being completely tense and in grayscale, although it was happening on my own camera.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated, because I'm trying to learn everything I can about this topic. Thank you!

    Don't not bither with CMYK for any shape so "home printing". Their printers work no any different from your own inkjet and exoect images come directly from digital cameras, etc. And are calibrated accordingly. Otherwise, you have a lot of reading to do on color, color grading, etc. of the range management.

  • I need a conversion formula excel in javascript for a form to fill out.

    Here's the scenario,

    If a person moves for 1 or 2 days pay us a mealsrate of 75% per day. If 3 days or more we pay # days 2 days * 25%. I hope that makes sense.

    Days, F14 = Mealsrate = v7

    Formula in Excel

    = IF ($V$ 7 = 1, $F$14 *,($V$7*$F$14)-(($F$14*0.25) 0.75 * 2)) and it works.

    I am VERY NEW to javascript (like yesterday) in order not to laugh. I have really no idea what I'm doing, but I tried. Here's what I got. (by the way, it does not work)

    If (this.getField (("Days").) Value == '1')) {}

    var f = this.getField ("Mealsrate");

    F.value = Event.Value *. 75;

    } else event.value = (days * f.value)-(f.value *.25) * 2;

    I appreciate all the help I can get.

    Tracie

    I'll be back Monday, I hope I can find my post.

    OK, this Excel formula can reduce a little. The scipt to calculate custom next going to do with the formula:

    // Custom Calculate script
    (function () {

        // Get the inputs
        var days = getField("Days").value;
        var rate = getField("Mealsrate").value;

        // Set this field value
        if (days == 1) {
            event.value = 0.75 * rate;
        } else {
            event.value = (days - 0.5) * rate;
        }
    }

    It would be good idea to add additional code to deal with negative numbers in the two fields.

    Edit: fixed a fault

  • Complex script to automate the Conversion of Images high resolution for the Web

    I use Actions in Photoshop (currently using CS4) all the time, but have never tapped into the scripting features, so please forgive me if these questions are obvious.

    The basic description of my project is simply creating web images in jpg format, among our library of high-resolution print images.

    We have a folder with a copy of all the images we need to convert. File types from TIF, PSD, EPS, and JPG.

    The challenges (for me) are:

    1. these images vary in orientation to be big or wide; I need the higher between dimensions, whether the height or the width, 400 pixels; and then I need to canvas has added to the other dimension to make the picture a perfect square of 400 x 400. I don't know how, or if I can, do PS choose the bigger dimensions, to 400 px.

    2. some of these images have clipping paths; I need to use these roads to clear the background in the pictures; the names of these masks are not the same in each image.

    Thus, the basic flow of the script would open the file; Set the maximum size to 400 px; Add a blank canvas to fill the other dimension and that also make 400px; use an image clipping path if it has one to erase the background of the image. Save for web in jpg format, adding "-400" at the end of the name of the file (but before the '.jpg'); size 115 value and save for web, by adding '-115' to the name. value size 80 and save for web, by adding '-80' to the name.

    A new version has been downloaded more than PS - Scripts Sean this now creates a record of each file selected with the name of "JPEG" and there the possibility to include subfolders.
