• Someone remembers Adobe Streamline? Need help for the conversion of drawings to bitmap to vector line.

  Years ago and there are probably still more OSs, Adobe had a product called Streamline this linework (well relatively effortless) effortlessly converted to vector. It was easy to sweep the original work, and the user apply settings to get an outline of eigenvector (with a reasonable number of points).  Well, that the program is no longer available and I not being able to achieve something close to perfection from Photoshop/Illustrator CS - which means I create a path to the PS and then hover over the path to Illustrator. I can never get a true vector "copy" of my scanned drawings.  I tried everything, such as upping the resolution (600-800 dpi) in the PS, which of course gives me way too complex a piece of vector, although can be used.  In any case, I'm working on a project now that whereby I really need a more transparent and less "bulky point" conversion of my work in vector contour.  The work of the line are very complex. Any suggestions, anyone?

  You will probably need a cleaning after Live Trace; Among the options we object > Pat > simplify and add Anchor Points. If you view an image, you will get suggestions.

  There are a few ways to apply; one more pretty is the use of closed paths. You can fill and stroke color (or use fill/no STROKE or cerebral vascular accident / no fill).

  To use the SKETCH files in Adobe Illustrator, use the button 'Send to Illustrator' from sketch.  It will open as a bitmap in a first time, but you can extend it in paths by selecting the layer then choose DEVELOP THE railways of (object / Line and Sketch Art / expand to paths)

  Both apps are not interchangeable with their respective brothers in applications, but you can use them together in order to achieve a certain look stylized, or to enjoy a single track , if you really need, but there is no real overlap.

  Currently, I use more creative process applications.  If you are mobile and want to generate the idea, these applications are perfect.  They can be used for the final work too, but you need to know the current constraints of the export process.

  I'm still tied to a desk for most of my design work (or laptop).

  I can't wait to see what new versions have in store for us.

  Apart from excellent advice from Terri, there is no way to really change how the paths appear - nevermind, I could use those more visible as well.

  I'm running 13.0.1 right now and am blocked by the tool of UX line. The problem is that even if you feel that you draw a line, you actually draw a box.

  Follow these steps 13.0.1 running x 64:

  1. Create a new doc
  2. Select the vector line tool
  3. Type in a width of line (for example: 20px)
  4. Draw your line
  5. Note that the line is always weight of 1px.

  Of course, after much fiddling around you realize you have to set the FILL of your race, color, NO line, then specify the WEIGHT on the far right of the control bar.

  This is not really the right UX to draw lines, especially if you come any other vector drawing environment.

  Pen tool will draw lines with adjustable race. Shape mode, the value none Fill tool, set the stroke alignment to centered in the menu drop-down shown. Click on the points without slipping, if not a curve will be created. Hold the SHIFT key to constrain the horizontal/vertical. Press ESC or enter or select another tool to end a line. Properties stroke remains editable as long as the shape layer is not rasterized.

  Hello! I use my wacom cintiq Companion. I have this problem, a month or two it is a. I used the companion for about a year now.

  I used to be able to draw the shapes or vectorlines in photoshop without any lag. Now, to draw these elements, the "loading" icon on my mouse, and are still leaving inoperable photoshop every time I draw or edit vectors.

  I also have another computer, a new, faster everything. It loads the shapes and lines without problem. So I guess that the question is in my settings of CC or Photoshop. Because Illustrator doesn't have this problem. I have used currently to "im" not allowed to use vectors in PS on my partner but I'd really like to use them again. Please help

  Hello! Thanks for your replies.

  I finally gave in and called adobe support. The had me remove my preferences (run > %AppData%... > rename photoshop cc 2015 parameters) and start over.

  This solves the problem, and then they helped me make photoshop work better with the following parameters:

  I have a batch file that should launch the signing tool and automatically sign things. There seems not to be the AutoSignature. If I switch:

• Conversion of PDF to form alter vector art in the document.

  I have created several forms of PDF files exported from InDesign.They are all the same except with different header text. Everyone has the same exact logo down the Center. What happens with a particular is when I go to create a display of the existing document and chose this pdf file, modifies the logo art and removes the text in the logo. This happens in Acrobat. In the InDesign file, the logo is an eps placed with all policies described. Everything in this file of logo is vector art.

  I tried many pdf export affecting InDesign, rampage indd files as pdf and create new files, restart the programs and restart my computer. None of this has fixed the problem.   You can use the bbidtoken with SDK 10.2. If you still build with the 10.1 SDK version or previous, you * can * install 10.2 and use only the function of signing it if you wish.
