  What measures have you tried - prefs.js or user.js edition?

  My recommendation would be to use Windows shortcuts to cut, copy and paste: Ctrl + x, Ctrl + c and Ctrl + v. You can also use the context menu for these actions. On most websites, you don't really need to use the buttons for these features.

  For a few years I created a 'dynamic' table of contents in a MS-Word document.  The Word document is a skeleton of a PDF document that will be published with the text of the sections on the relevant pages.  I then save it in the format PDF. The links in the generated PDF file precisely go to pages in the document. I then copy the table of content pages in my PDF file that contains the actual content.  I remove links old and copy and paste links to the newly created table of content in the 'real' PDF pages  Recently, when I stick the links, they seem to stick properly but the actions on the links are not included.  I can look at the new PDF and see the link for "go to a page in the document" action, but they are not present on the pasted version.  Is this a bug?  Everyone knows this situation?   Thanks in advance!

  As usual with similar issues, need the process to explain to discover possible solutions towards.  I don't know why this solved the problem, but I had saved the Word document by using the file/save as / name. File/save as Adobe PDF... pretty good PDF option option.  The results appear the same, but when I copied the links after registration by using this option, it worked as it should.   Maybe this will help someone else...

  I tried several times to copy images from web sites. When I right click on the photo I then click on "copy image". When I right click in my pictures the button "Paste" does not shine so I can't copy images.

  It's a simple question (hahahahaha) - is it possible to copy/paste a bookmark in 4.3 Pages?

  What I would do, because the pages seems to keep losing these links from time to time, is able to use the copy/paste in batch mode and paste the link as a "style." But I think there is no way to do it.

  Not sure I get what you're asking because if you copy text that has a bookmark link and paste it elsewhere it retains the link.

  You can make a Style because it contains is not the formatting of data (the link).

  If you want some boilerplate text as a link pre-made, copy them and paste one already made, then change the word/s in the text and the actual link in the Hyoerlink Inspector. A little less work.

  In fact it should glue only in the context of 'edit' which you are currently working. Note the thick blue border on group before pasting, if it is present, then this group is considered to be the current editing context is active.

  So if you double-click on a group, select an item, copy and paste, it will be stuck in this group.

  It works as it should. If you want to move stuff with maintaining relative positioning, put it in a group or a dynamic object and drag the resulting group / SO to the new document.

  I found that the "selection of export that" both the functions 'copy with formatting' were able to go directly to Excel without using a Word, although it also works. The key in Excel is simply use ctrl + v to paste, do not right click and try to use a special dough or the default value, which went to "keep text only".

• Impossible to copy and paste from/to XP using remote desktop

  Due to problems, I have recently reinstalled Vista on my pc.  Before the reinstall, I could access my PC using XP, using remote desktop from work to distance and copy and paste the files from XP and Vista.

  Since the reinstallation, I'm not able to copy/paste unless I have turn off UAC.  (I have progbably had turned off before, but he didn't.)  Is there a way to copy and paste them to work without disabling UAC?  Maybe some changes in the policy or registry?

  Note: I use Remote Desktop with Clipboard selected for local devices and resources.

  I saw this thread earlier and it does not apply.  I would say the copy/paste of text works.  I can't copy and paste a file.  UAC seems to be the key here.

  I found a work around.   I connect with a local drive.  Since the remote desktop, I can copy files to the local disk, which then I have the file available locally and I can go other directions.  It's a little slow, but it works for now.

  Select the text in the two cases and watch the applied character Style. My guess is that the gray text has the character of hyperlink style, and he was replaced manually to get gray and emphasis. When the text is copied and pasted, the Style is reasserting itself. Remove the gray text Style (or redefine Style to change so that it matches your formatting preferences).
