• Copy of Windows 7 is not genuine?

• Received a message on my copy of Windows XP is not genuine not. Tried to turn it back on but it does not work.

  Discovered my Tech guy that my original copy of Windows XP Professional with SP2 had corrupted files on the CD, so he used a different copy.

  Sounds like a bad copy of windows... I would ask your tech guy how to activate it.  Even if the computer is turned on, she would still have the windows command activate.  It almost seems that it put on an illegal copy.
