Hi, I recently changed to Visual Studio 2010 and Windows 7 64-bit.
I have an existing Office RT system running RT 2009. This system calls a DLL that I already built using Visual Studio .net 2003 and Windows XP.
Since I've recompiled the DLL I get an error 7 file not found error when I call the RT DLL, even if I simply replaced the old DLL with a new one in the file system so the path has not changed.
I also noticed that the message on the screen connected to the RT system during startup:
"achieveworldpeace.dll" load error: lack of export 'DecodePointer' of ' Kernel32.dll'.
Any ideas on this problem? It is perhaps as simple as a switch in the compiler?
Thank you.
I'm not sure it's a simple switch in the project settings in Visual C. The problem is clearly in the standard C runtime library that gets linked to your DLL and refers to exports of Windows which are not available on the RT system. Don't forget that the RT system is a limited Win32 API emulation.
I usually avoid these problems using Visual C 6 to create DLLs for LabVIEW projects. The standard library of the C runtimes will not know what Windows API reference more recent exports because they have supported even under Win95. So unless your explicitedly reference code not supported RT APIs you wouldn't have problems. If you do not use the standard C file i/o functions and management of memory in your DLL functions, you can also try to link statically C runtime libraries in your DLL, or vice versa depending on what you have now. It may or may not work. Otherwise there is not much else but by using an earlier version of Visual Studio.

Run32dll.exe winbrand.dll and other errors
Hello
I tried to change the audio devices on my PC (windows 7 64-bit) about 20 minutes ago and was given and the error window with the title, "No supported 16-bit Application" the text in the window said, "the program or function '------?" \C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe"cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit Windows versions. Contact the reseller of software to ask if there is a compatible version of Windows 64-bit. »
After closing this window, it gave me another error with the title window, "C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe" the text of the window has to say, "the version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you are using. Check your computer's system information to see if you need a x 86 (32 bit) or x 64 (64-bit) version of the program and then contact the software publisher. »
I then thought about opening guest to use the sfc/scannow command... Normally to open the command prompt I press the Start button and type in cmd and select it. I did this, but the search function did not work. Manually, I went to the location of the command prompt and open to return with another window of error with the title, "cmd.exe - bad image" and the text in the window saying: "C:\Windows\system32\WINBRAND.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or support software provider. »
If naturally my next thoughts had to do a system restore, I opened it, whereas starting up and faced another problem in the system restore window saying, 'system restore doesn't seem to work correctly on this system. An element of Volume Shadow Copy Service has encountered an unexpected error. Check the log of events applications for more information. (0 x 80042302)"
I went to open the event viewer, but that has failed to open.
I did everything I can think of to solve these problems, but so far, nothing has worked. The only other thing I can think to do, it's a complete reinstallation of windows I want to avoid doing so if possible.
Thanks for the tips.
I have however a full clean have reinstall of windows 7 as when I tried to start in safe mode, I was faced with a black screen with just the current mouse cursor. It's the same thing on normal startup.
However I had problems when reinstalling windows. I got error 0xc00000e9 when you try to install from the disc. I looked into things and eventually remove all disks hard bar that now, I managed to install windows on.
I think that the problem was a virus and I advise to all others who have faced the same problems as me to do a full clean reinstall of windows. You may lose a lot of documents, but your computer will be is more infected with the virus that may be present.
Thank you for the help

What is corefoundation.dll and how I can reinstall it.
When I start computer get me this message, AppleSyncNotifier.exe request - UnableToLocate. This could not start because corefoundation.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix problem.
Hi roger284,The files you need are associated by Apple, specifically their program of synchronization/MobileMe.For more information about this issue, see: -
Whenever I start my computer, I get error messages saying that the module could not be found, looked online to try to find that solution did not find much. Im not very savvy computer so not sure what to do next. A ran Norton full scan and came up with nothing.
Hello ArmyWife09, welcome.
These files are almost certainly infections. I would recommend following these steps:
STEPS TO PREPARE THE SYSTEM FOR A CLEAN BOOT CLEANING AND MALICIOUS SOFTWARE
1. click on START
2 type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press enter
3. click on the 'Startup' tab at the top
4. click the "Disable all" button at the bottom and click on apply
5 restart your computer6. Once restarted, download the following:
http://download.CNET.com/Malwarebytes-anti-malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
7. Once downloaded, install MalwareBytes and run a full scan of the system. Restart
Afterwords. From this point, your machine must be clean of the infection.
Let us know how it goes,
Thank you!

Hello
Google has little information on this subject, it seems to be a left on the shape of the boot entry Malware that has been removed from your security programs.
Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware:
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
If the problem persists after scanning, take these startup entries:

You can also use this free program to do, too:

You need to reinstall corefoundation.dll.
For the last 2 weeks every time I boot my laptop with Windows 7... a window opens and says that I have to reinstall CoreFoundation.dll for AppleSyncNotifier.exe. I downloaded and installed corefoundation.dll in the folder system32 and then run "regsvr32 corefoundation.dll" and a window pops up and says to make sure that this version is for 32-bit or 64-bit. What the hell is happening? Help!
You can try this resolution; I discovered on the Apple forums (http://discussions.info.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2387547&tstart=0):
Go to my computer, local disk (c) / Program Files/Common Files/Apple/Apple Application Support then right click on the file SQLite3.dll and select copy then go back in the Apple and Mobile Device Support folder and then right click on the window (not on the files in this folder) and select Paste to add that, in the folder.

I have a Dell Inspiron from 9000 over 4 years running Vista. Since I installed iTunes I get the above error message every time that my PC starts. I followed the advice on the Windows support and uninstalled iTunes, then reinstalled, but the problem persists.
In addition, whenever I get a message in Outlook 2007, that contains a link, whenever I click the link I get the message "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. Therefore, I must copy this link in Internet Explorer so that it can work.
Any help gratefully received.

- When you receive this error message?
- What were the changes made before the issue started?
I suggest you make a system full scan just to be sure.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
