Correct way to start/services *.exe file
When installing version 5.5 update for NTI Backup Now software of executables to start services (agentsvc.exe) has an incorrect path and will not run. Can I change the registry keys in order to correct the path information, or is there another way to fix the problem?
I know that I should back up the registry and create a restore point before any changes to the registry. Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

My help and support does not come to the top in my xp home computer. If I need to reinstall the program exe file, I can find to operate here? It is not on my computer.
Hi Rex-36
You can consult the services to see if the service is running. Click 'Start', click 'run' and in the Run dialog box, type "services.msc". On the page that has ensued, scroll down to "Help and support" and right click. Select 'Properties'. . Look to see if the service is running and if this is not the case, click on the button to start the service. In the box "Startup type", make sure that it is in the type of start "Manual" or "automatic" . Click 'OK' and exit.
I hope this helps.

In my view, a win32:funweb - K [smaller] may have damaged my sys/run32dll.exe file. How should I do? I removed the virus, but still cannot access my control panel. Help, please.
When you try to open a control panel applet, you see a message like this:
Control Panel
Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe '. Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click search. If the file is actually missing, it was probably quarantined (actually deleted) by some program antivirus or antimalware you use.
You might want to reconsider some anti-virus or anti-malware software, you use and whether or not they are effective to protect your system.
You can look in the c:\windows\system32 folder and see if the file is actually missing or not, but you should replace it somehow.
I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).
You can download it and when you do, place a copy of the file in these two folders (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):
c:\Windows\System32
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache (this is where XP keeps backups of important files). Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:
http://CID-6a7e789cab1d6f39.SkyDrive.live.com/redir.aspx?RESID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311
When you see the files available for download, you can not see the file extension (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc.), but when download you them they will have the right extension.
When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, your browser is unable to save the file with an extension (by example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.
You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension. You do not want to use a file called rundll32 when the name of the file should really be called rundll32.exe (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.
You then put the downloaded files in the correct folders on your system.
That may not solve all your problems, but at least you will be spending this part and we can then fix the rest.
I would follow with this:
No matter what you use for malware protection, follow these steps:

I TRIED TO RE-INSTALL MY HP WIRELESS PRINTER AND IT WOULD NOT INSTALL. I HAVE RECEIVED AN ERROR MESSAGE THAT THE PRINT SPOOLER WAS NOT WORKING AND STOPPED. I have TRIED TO START THE PRINT SPOOLER AND FOUND what IT MISSING THE lexbces.exe FILE. I THINK THAT WHEN I UNINSTALLED THE HP PRINTER, HE WALKED OUT OF THIS FILE. IT IS IN THE SYSTEM 32 AND A FILE OF REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL. DOWNLOAD THIS FILE OR DO I HAVE TO RE-INSTALL WINDOWS XP?
Lexbces.exe is from Lexmark (or Dell-badged Lexmark) printer install. When the Lexmark printers are installed, they configure the print spooler to depend on Lexbces. Unfortunately, when you uninstall the software Lexmark, the uninstall program removes the file but does not have the print spooler dependency.
Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
Type the following line in the black command prompt window and press enterdependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS
Note that there is no space before the = but there is a space after it.
Restart the computer.
See the instructions on One Article to do a clean installation of your printer.
After the restart, you can check that the print spooler has started in several ways. One way is:
Open a command prompt window and type the following command, and then press ENTER:
spooler request SC
You should see the following in the command prompt window:
spooler request SC
Service_Name: Spooler
TYPE: 110 WIN32_OWN_PROCESS (interactive)
STATE: 4 RUNNING
(STOPPABLE, NOT_PAUSABLE, ACCEPTS_SHUTDOWN)
WIN32_EXIT_CODE: 0 (0X0)
SERVICE_EXIT_CODE: 0 (0X0)
CHECKPOINT: 0X0

- What you have already tried to solve the problem all right, people, it's really weird. Just surfing the net and a few page popped up a window, Windows defender, either real or double window that seemed to be some kind of virus scan running and find all kinds of infections. Search on my drive for files of virus claimed, however, nothing found. Zone alarm has warned that a program named av.exe was trying to access various resources, which I refused him permission to do. I closed the browser and activate zonealarm internet lock. Now, by clicking on any desktop icon rather began the av.exe program, same as before. I used the Task Manager to end. Finally, I found the file av.exe, a hidden file in the documents and settings/Peter/application data / directory and deleted. So now, either by clicking on any application, destop, or the menu, including the Panel, appears a window wondering what program I want to use to open the file, or a warning that no file association is defined for the file. Linking screen for the Windows Explorer file reports assoiations appropriate for all files, but does not list the exe or com all file extensions. Attempt to add them (abandoned) presented a screen that windows already knew they were applications. So now I'm at a loss. This little beastie hurt not only managed to get by zone alarms various filters and screens, but itself installed and screwed with stuff. I can't start applications normally. To right click and use "start" from the pull down. And some processes that are expected to be called by other programs to run into the same problem, so do not work. I ran a system restore (had to do it from safe mode to make it work) for a few days, before this problem, but it doesn't fix it. Nor, do one of the registry scanners I ran to try to find errors. found a bunch, but the problem remains.
- I'm puzzled. What should do? How can I reset windows to know that an exe file "opening" means to run the program? Oh, and at this point, restart now does not start most of the things that are supposed to start on a startup, zone alarm, mouse drivers, etc.. Even the appearance of the taskbar has changed its background color blue back...
- Thanks for your suggestions?

Hello
My 3440 has developed a problem, I think the boot.ini file corruption that it requests to the file ntoskrnl.exe replaced at startup. The problem is that I don't have an external drive to boot from. When I press F2 it gives me a list of devices, that which no no it starts from. I don't have the external CD drive for this, and it won't have a USB floppy drive.
It is impossible for me to solve this problem without the external port replicator or a cd player?
Thanks in advance
Pete
Hello
Unfortunately, without the access on the Windows CD you will not be able to fix it.
The ntoskrnl.exe file is placed on the original Windows CD in the i386 folder.
You could start at the beginning of the CD to make the repair console by pressing R
In the repair console, you can use this command:Expand D:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_C:\windows\ntoskrnl.exe
(D is the CD drive)But as said above seems that you will need the CD player
But wait if the i386 folder has been installed on your HARD drive you could expand the ntoskrnl.exe in this folder to C:\windows\

I'm trying to:
1. download the rtexe on the target in real time
2. download the file or - rt.ini of the RT target on the local disk
3. change the RTApp.StartupApplication path to POINT to newly downloaded rtexe
4. download the ini file edited to target RT
5 reset
6. the new rtexe should start to runWhen manually deploy the application of RT through the Project Explorer and manually restart the target RT works very well.
However if I follow the steps above using the attached VI, to restart it does not start the EXE and loses the connection with the RT.
When I try to reconnect, he said:
"Errors were detected in the log of the target when connecting to the target:
LabVIEW: (Hex 0x63B) target the RT has not enough memory to load the startup application. »
Now why is there enough memory when the EXE is deployed through the Project Explorer, but not enough when the EXE file is moved manually?
If there is an easier process or to achieve this goal, please suggest.
Thank you
Problem solved. Problem was never in the INI file.
Apparently using FTP "FTP Store Multiple.vi" used to move the file EXE to the rt to intimidate target must change the file somehow. Instead I just use the FTP "Put several files.vi" and everything works fine.

Stand-alone labview application (.exe file) does not run correctly
Hi all
I'm doing a labview application only to run on another computer (I never did this before).
I went through the tools-> build application prompts and was able to build an exe file.
the program is supposed to control a power meter and measures of power, then save them in a text file.
When I run the exe, on the same computer, I compiled the exe, the program generates a text file to save data to, but he cannot communicate with the electricity meter.
There are a few screws Sub and a dll file that are used to communicate with the electricity meter. Would it be possible that I am not say labview to correctly
include these files when I create an executable?
What are some common problems that arise when building stand alone applications that could be cause of my problems?
And no one knows of any good tutorials on building applications stand alone in labview, other than the help files OR?
Thanks for your help,
Also, if you used the VISA, include the runtime with your Installer.
-
Is there an easy way to group the labview run the engine with an exe file?
I have a LV exe file I want to run on different computers in our lab test at different times. I know one way to do is to download the runtime engine and instrument drivers I need. My question is can I somehow package the file exe, engine performance and drivers so that they could easily be loaded on any PC with windows 7.
Thank you.
In the project window, click with the right button on "Peculiarities of building" and select new > Installer.
