• Empty Connections window network and could not start the network connections service

  Problems with Verizon router and during diagnosis discovered that the network connections window is empty (found by clicking on change settings for the network and sharing Center map).  We are currently connected to the Internet with the new router and Ethernet cable, but the cannot connect wireless (what we could do before) - apparently not to display icons in N.C. window is not necessary to have connections.  Found a reference to the network connections service and check it is running as a solution to the window being blank.  The service is not running, and when I try to launch it I get "Error 1083: the executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement this service."

  I've seen a lot of suggestions on fixes for the problem of the empty window.  I did the sfc /scannnow and found no problem.  I tried to update the network adapter driver, but it was very good.  None of the solutions seemed appropriate perfectly adapted to this situation.  Is this really a problem?  Any suggestions on what to do about it?  We are about to use an USB adapter until our connection speed and I want to make sure that everything works first.  Thanks for any help.

  I have to install VM test lab for my desktop test environment.

  For the test of VMotion, I installed openfiler for a shared data store. Installation has been completed successfully. But when I try to log in to openfiler with openfiler (user name) and the password I had set during the installation of openfiler, I am not able to connect. Error-> user name password incorrect.

  It is probably not supported by VMware, but it seems they're locking access web console rules of pam.

  You must modify the /etc/pam.d/vami-sfcb file to change the reading of the line "auth required pam_succeed_if.so uid eq 0' to succeed/deny rule change.»

  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 bit on my main PC that uses an SSD. Recently, when I was about to create new profiles of user account for my children, I came across a few connection issues on newly created accounts.
  Here's a breakdown of what exactly is going on:
  1) turn on the computer. Starts Windows normally, auto-journalisation me on my administrator account. Nothing unusual appears, just the regular, the windows desktop and files.
  (2) I go into my control panel (category view) | Accounts of users and parental control-link under click on "Add or remove user accounts". Click on "create a new account | Entered the name (for this example, I'll call it reverse) | Apply the account type "Standard account" | Click on "create account". Close all open windows. Click Start and then click 'Quit' from the menu
  (3) once I clicked on 'Leave', it says "logging OFF... "or something similar, and I just click on the new icon for the newly created account that I just made. Very quickly, the screen flashes "Welcome" then flashes black and then reloads the blue background with the words "Logging Off". It flashes black once again and brings me to choose one account screen, where I see my newly created account and my administrator account
  (4) I try clicking on the icon of the new account again, the same thing is happening. I'm trying to connect to my administrator account, it works perfectly

  You remove/tweak the OS installation on the SSD drive?  If some settings have prevented appropriate services of loading (so that the applet of Control Panel does not work)?  If this is the case, I would have to suggest a backup, wipe and a reinstallation of Windows without any adjustment being made (at least until you have setup the Standard user accounts).

  We have a legacy database and its functionality exposed by some of the C/C++ API programs. Our requirement is to make the use of these APIs and integrate the Oracle Service Bus (ESB of Oracle Fusion Middleware)/BPEL

  From now on, the C/C++ API have been compiled into a library and called from a JAVA JNI class. So according to the concepts of the JNI, java class simply calls the native methods that are implemented in C/C++, by calling to this library.

  Here is an example of an implementation:

  There is a requirement of the settlement planning. As a connection method refresh should be called every X minutes to keep the connection open. Topology wise there are no restrictions to run native code and the Weblogic container on the same machine.

  If you need/want to eliminate JNI, the solution is to make the native libraries behave as a provider of services, exhibition services via a network protocol... You can do this with or without smoking, but I like the Tuxedo approach...

  However, if you're ok with JNI, build a resource adapter...

• Create Active Directory accounts for vSphere 5.1 Services

  To put in place the pieces of vSphere management, I need to have an account or accounts created in Active Directory.  I need to figure out how to create and what permissions they need.

  In authentication single server, I need to choose an account that vCenter server will use when it connects to the PSO.  I can use a default admin@system-domainvalue.  Or I can add an account configured in Active Directory.  Or, I can also use a group active directory instead of an individual user.  What is the best way to do it and if I use an AD account, what permissions need at the domain level and at the local level on the SSO Server?  (I use multisite mode, so I can't use local accounts)

  In SQL Server, I need to choose an account to use for the SQL server service.  This account or an active directory account or a local user account?  If so, what are the permissions should be assigned to the account in Active Directory and the permissions that should be assigned to the it on the local computer?  This group of ads, if no it should be part of?  Should what local authorities?

  In vCenter Server, I need to choose an account to run the "vCenter Server Service" in.  It is best to use the default "system" account or use an Active Directory account or a local account?

  I'm trying to get an overview of account/group AD use policy which covers the main parts of vSphere management - vCenter Server, Single Sign on, inventory Service, Web customer service.

  For example, create a group called 'vSphere Services', then create separate accounts for each element of the management and assign them specific permissions on specific systems.  Or create separate groups for each element of the management and assign permissions to the groups.  Is it better to consolidate some of these user names or split out them?  Experiences / suggestions welcome.  Thank you.

  For general services, I use a specific service account in the ad. That was before the SSO and I use the same after SSO. SSO is used by only two services that I know not yet (the inventory Service and perhaps vCloud). However, there are several other service accounts to be created. You want an account by service and I use AD to do so, this way I can create a group of service accounts and give it appropriate roles and privileges. For example, I have service accounts for:

  • VMware View
  • XenDesktop
  • vCops
  • HPSIM
  • SolarWinds
  • VMTurbo
  • NetApp
  • etc.

  A service, a service account, each with a general role or a custom role according to the requirements of access to vCenter.

  For SSO, I have to wait on general information, but I created mine enough basically to cover only the resources that use SSO. Given that the vast majority of the items to not use the SSO, the rule still applies.  Once the SSO is supported by more than one or two tools, you always have to maintain this separation.

  Then I say yes, tie SSO to AD and do everything in one place, unfortunately, is not very clear, or at least wasn't for me and these issues SSO are either beng fixed, documented, or both.

  Hi the problem is resolved. I saw a small logo on the first login of Windows 8 window saying "no internet connection available. I connect to the internet before opening a Windows session, and after the opening of the session windows my Thunderbird work again as well as the update of ccleaner...

  This has proved to contain leads to a difficulty.  Have to admit, when I read everything the first time, several days, I did indeed find it confusing and even the parts that I "heard" (sorta) does not appear to be related to my symptoms.

  It turns out that the answer of JDMICHAL May 17, 2011 contained this:

  (2) this directory has two subdirectories with a single file of each. Go into each directory and apply the following:

  (d) click on the Add button...

" I check services and found DHCP stopped running, I tried to start it manually, it shows "Windows didn't start the DHCP Client service on Local computer." Error 5:Access is denied. "I did ' sfc/scannow' and found no errors.
  I use a laptop from my friend and it works great! So there is nothing wrong with the router but my own laptop. My laptop runs windows Vista editions Home Premium with Service Pack 2.

  I solved the problem with the implementation of Cold Fusion 11. I had to disable Windows server 2008 R2 UAC for all users in order to complete the installation with IIS as a web server. This also solves the problem with the inability to uninstall Cold Fusion.

  Connect to the user weblogic admin console:

  http://yourhost:port / console (Note: this is different from console SB which is /sbconsole)

  It should show pending changes on the left side of the screen, just click Cancel all.

• Oracle service bus and database connectivity

  Since currently OSB does not adapters infrastructure support, what are the options to use the features of the DB adapter type in Oracle Service Bus (ALSB).
  
  It seems JMS and other transport are very well supported, but how we use the Services of DB?

  The only thing we're missing in the ALSB (OSB 3.0) is the DBAdapter. You can use execute - sql () to READ the data in the tables. If you want to insert/update to update data, you could write an EJB and call the EJB to perform this or call a BPEL process to make your database actions.

  The next version of OSB (10gr 3) contains the first version of the JCA layer and will be later supported the cards that were available in the SOA Suite 'elders '.
