Note: After a repair, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as shown here:
Step 2: To configure Windows to use a Normal startup state
After you have used the boot is a way to solve your problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

My system is connected to the network with 3 PCs and all are licensed copy.

    Hello

Welcome to the Forums Community Microsoft and thanks for posting the question.

According to the description, you get an error message "FAILED CONNECTION USER INIT" after installing Windows updates.

From my research, this problem occurs if the Userinit key in the Windows registry has been changed. For example, this problem may occur if the Userinit key has a value, but no binary data.

I suggest you follow the steps mentioned below.

    Method 1:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Step 2: Check the value and binary Userinit registry data

Important: The following instructions contain the steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information, view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

    Back up the registry
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/back-up-the-registry

    a. start Registry Editor. To do this, click Start, type regedit in the search box and press ENTER.

    b. click continue.

    c. Locate and then click the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

    d. in the right pane, right-click Userinit, and then click change.

    e. in the value data box, type hard disk:\Windows\System32\userinit.exe, and then click OK.

Note: The placeholder of the hard drive refers to the drive on which Windows Vista is installed.

    f. close the registry editor.

    g. restart the computer.

    Method 2:

Restore the system to an earlier point before installing this application.

System Restore can return your files system to a point in time before you noticed a problem, without affecting documents, photos, or other personal files. If the system restore does not resolve the problem, you can undo the restore operation and choose a different restore point.

To view your history of update, follow these steps:
    a. open Windows Update by sliding into the right edge of the screen (or, if you are using a mouse, pointing to the corner bottom right of the screen, move the mouse upward), tapping or clicking on settings, tapping or clicking change PC settingsand then by typing or clicking on update and recovery.

    Hello

According to the description, I understand that you are facing the problem in your computer after Windows installation updated May 18, 2016.

Yes, you can view the installed update so that you can identify the updates that are installed in May 18, 2016.

Please follow the steps to see updates history in Windows 7:

    2. Then select Control Panel > programs.

    3. And then, under programs and features.

    4. Select view installed updates.

Please follow the methods described below to check if it helps:

Method 1: perform a Clean boot and install Windows Update.

If its a major update, I recommend you put the computer in a clean boot state and install it again in order to minimize interference that could cause this noise problem.

Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: see 'How do I reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting' to reset the computer starts normally after troubleshooting.

Method 2: uninstall and reinstall the Sound Driver.

    1. Press Windows + X key.
    2. Type devmgmt.msc (to open Device Manager)
    3. Find and select the audio driver.
    4. Right click on the driver.
    5. Uninstall the audio driver.

Windows automatically installs the generic driver, otherwise I recommend you download & install audio driver on the website of the manufacturer to check if it helps.

  • SD card is not working properly after installing windows 10

I have a MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, early 2015) with EL Capitan 10.11.5 and after I installed 10 windows using bootcamp, everything worked fine at first, but after I deleted my part of windows and then installed windows 10 the second time, the SD card is not working properly. She mounts only if the computer shuts down first, and then start. If I take the laptop directly, the SD card will not rise. The same thing happens when I switch systems using a control option key or bootcamp Center where when I switched to another system, the SD card that was mounted on the old system does not appear in the new system. I was trying to solve this problem remove the part of windows before you reinstall it again once, so I found that after I deleted the windows part, the problem is gone and it reappeared after installing windows 10 even once. I also found that after I installed windows the total volume of hard drive (128g front) became 121g.

    Hello LorinMax,

Thanks for this info and choosing the communities Support from Apple. I know the importance of your work with your Macbook Pro SD card!

If I understand correctly, you cannot use your SD card, unless you stop and then restart. Because this behavior started when you installed Boot Camp, I would start with the following steps:

    1. first of all, start by repairing your hard disk in disk utility to correct the unexpected problems that could be the cause of this behavior.

Disk utility (El Capitan): a disc repair

    2. use Mode without fail to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks, remove files from the system cache, check your startup disk and trying to fix problems if necessary directory.

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

Graphics performance limited in recovery of OS X or in safe mode

    3. According to Boot Camp Installation & Setup Guide, you may need to back up your personal data and reinstalling OS X, then reinstall Windows via Boot Camp and related support files.

Control Panel - Windows Updates - upper left settings - set to download but allow you to install them.
To operate the system and see if there are problems.

If no problem try to apply updates in small groups or even one at a time, depending on how
There are many. Beware especially of driver updates that may be older that you have or
    those even incorrect.

  • WIFI device not detected after installing Windows updates.

Original title: WiFi stops working when loading Windows (Win7).

After that the last series of Win7 update is more my Wi - Fi works.

My computer is the only one in the affected House. Wi - Fi is on (the radio light is on) when you start up loads of Windows, and then he went. More my factory installed Atheros wireless network card is no longer visible in the device, only the Ju Fast Ethenet controller Marvell Manager. I have re-installed the Atheros driver in the hope that the system would then find the device. No luck. Even the F8 key is operable, so using the FN + F8 key to activate the Wi - Fi is a bust.

We know that the camera is good, but Windows doesn't see a reason any. This seems to be a matter of Win7 and not a hardware problem.

I had a similar problem. The update worked for me was KB2360131, I had to hide and the rest updates went well. This is what I did:

    (1) turn off the automatic updates

    (2) set up the Windows Update service manual init

    (3) restart

    (4) delete C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution directory of the Windows folder

    5) go to the Windows Update site and search for updates

    (6) once he finds all the updates, go to the list and hide KB2360131

    (7) install the rest

    It will be useful.
