  Job1 (that starts Microsoft Paint) starts fine, EM shows Job2 as expected. But never starts Job2... I am running as SYS (as SYSDBA), so I don't think that the user rights should be a problem. Suspecting a problem with the queue of the event, I tried this:

  Thre is a typo in your example that can be the cause of the problem.

  If you create job1 like that the real name is "JOB1" since Oracle canonicalise it (Please enter it unless it is in quotes).

  If your state of health for the work of the event should be

  ' tab.user_data.object_name = "Task1" and
  Tab.USER_DATA.event_type IN ("JOB_SUCCEEDED", "JOB_FAILED", "JOB_STARTED", "JOB_STOPPED")'

• Could not get the work item preview

  In Robohelp, when you click the glasses or enter Ctrl + W, a preview of the active help topic window is supposed to open. When I do that, update is removed from the application, but no preview window opens. I tried closing and reopening of Robohelp; When it does work, I rebooted.
  
  I'm on a XP box with 2 GB of RAM; I've never had problems with this feature before.

  Hi, I would be grateful for help on this, I bought a new seagate expansion external hard drive not too long ago (abt 3 months old) and tried to use the device only recently (to back up my files). Windows has detected the drive but says that it could not find the drivers. (code 28)

  When I tried the drive on a 32-bit computer, it showed up working find and dandy. When it is plugged in the computer of the alien-ware, same error.
  Tried the uninstall from Device Manager and restart the computer, still the same error.
  Services.msc open and found windows install offshore. He turned on automatic, but the same error came out. Plug and play Windows was already working.
  Checked Windows SP1 worked, still the same error.
  He got me completely baffled.

  28 error code means that the device was not fully installed.

  Method 1: Connect the device, run the hardware and devices Troubleshooter and check if that helps.

  How do you create the new layer? Looks like you have a selection and use ctrl/cmd-J. If you have a choice and it is empty, you will get this error.

  I created a DSN from Data Sources (ODBC) (32-bit version of what in % windir%\syswow64\odbcad32.exe) pointing to an instance of Oracle 10 g.

  I have test the DSN in this way (IE. Data sources (ODBC) and the connection is successful (which means that the tnsnames.ora is correct).

  I use the "DB tools Open Connection.vi" in order to get connected to this database, passing as parameters the DSN above, the user name and password.

  I get the error:

  I already solved the problem (work until late Saturday).

  the solution was to install the latest version of the Oracle customer, namely: Oracle 11 g Release 2 CLIENT for Windows 32 (11.2.0.1.0).

  Now everything works OK.

  I also tested in Windows 7 32 bit (the .vi even and the same Oracle client). This will also OK.
