    Just updated my own post-

    Something on the motherboard is indeed stuck in a permanent off-State.  There is no solution in addition to the replacement of the motherboard together. They are more expensive because integrated cpu.

    My laptop is out of warranty for a reason any since I bought it via Acer Outlet on Amazon, even though the laptop itself had been built less than a year ago.

    Chat online support for problems would not help at all.  They are a 3rd third party vendor and do not do this things.

    Sent a request for repair of Acer. They want $399 for repair.

    It took a repairman (people super nice btw, way more useful than acer supports... I would suggest strongly local mom & pop stores if you can), they want $360.

    Don't know what I'll do yet. I think it's ridiculous to pay for a bug of software known bios that bricks your laptop, but that's just me.

    Marking this as resolved issue.

  • Windows 10 anniversary not settle on my Acer R7-572

    As the anniversary of 10 of Windows Update was released today, I thought I would try to update my Acer R7-572. Did not see in Windows update, I downloaded the Windows 10 of Microsoft Update Wizard. When checking my system, I received a message that my screen would not support 10 Windows (which is meaningless as I am on Windows 10). Therefore, I could not update at all.

    Anyone else run into this? All known solutions?

    Hello

    The simplest method would be to download the image to get the latest version, make a USB of it and you can run the command directly from windows and select upgrade. It should work fine I think.

  • question of partition dividing Acer e1 - 572 g

    Hello everyone I bought an acer e1 - 572 g with a 750HDD.

    My question is can I divide the c partition into two halves without effect on the hidden restore partition?

    or won't be able to recover the factory default after?

    Thank you

    Yes, that's right, this happened to me a few years back with Vista, resumption of the factory was stuck when I left the partitions in the alteration of the State but when switched back to the original set upward (IE, as it was when I bought the laptop) recovery plant is completed without a hitch.

  • You have an another "Black Screen of Death" problem on Vista 64-bit.

    You have an another "Black Screen of Death" problem on Vista 64-bit.  I downloaded and burned the CD to repair, and it loads fine.  However, whenever I go into the options, it is not read my C: drive.  It will not restore the system, it cannot run a "Startup Repair" and if I go in the "Command Prompt" and type "C:", it says that the device is not ready, so I can't change the registry to attempt to repair.  Am I missing something that I need to do first in "Setup"?  Note that without the disc, I go straight to the black screen with cursor.  I can't go in Mode safe, I can't perform sticky keys, and I can't do anything else.

    Any help here?

    I suggest you check this problem by performing a power reset.

    To perform a reset of the diet:

    1. Unplug the power adapter for your laptop.
    2. Turn the laptop to remove the battery. Turn the computer over and open it.
    3. Press and hold power for 30 seconds, and then release the power button.
    4. Turn the laptop and replace the battery.
    5. Drag to the locking position locking tab.
    6. Turn the laptop again and plug in your power adapter.
    7. Turn on your laptop.

  • Acer Aspire M1641 Desktop. Rear audio jacks have a 7.1 surround. I need manual for audio jacks.

    Above is a close-up photo of the audio input/output jacks on the rear panel of my desktop PC Acer Aspire M1641-E3750A. I think that this configuration is a 7:1 surround sound system. When I access the manual Acer Aspire from the PC itself, it does exactly what is providing the function of a surround sound system. I do not know what the symbols mean audio universal: 'exit' - arrow pointing off wave circle and "input" - arrow pointing in the circle of the wave. The pink jack is the microphone input jack. Blue is the line-in Jack. The Green Jack is for headphones.

    Here are the three problems that I am trying to solve:

    (1) which output jack is what works in a surround sound system?

    Since the Green Jack is for headphones and a surround sound system this output probably of 'Left' and 'Right' would be pregnant before. Is this correct? I suspect that the black upper middle plug is the bass speaker. Is this true? I do not know what role the white and the yellow output sockets are used in this system.

    (2) what is the correct procedure of wiring/connection to connect speakers to the output jacks of?

    I think that ALL the output sheets are mini stereo cards. So, I have attached two speakers from each output as a stereo headphone jack?

    (3) made the PC power attached speakers in the surround sound system? If not, do I have to patch the outputs from the PC via an amplifier and then convert signals to the speakers?

    I apologize for all this detail! Perhaps there is a quick reference that someone could provide a link to a knowledge base. I tried Acer, Wikipedia and other sources, but I can't seem to find answers to these questions.

    Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

    A sound card integrated (such as Realtek) can have multiple uses made.

    outside one pink that is taken for Microphone, others can be used like headphones or speakers (normally the green one).

    If you go to your control panel and double-click the Realtek icon, probably will appear a window with different parameters and can help you understand what makes each output.

    for sure that you need an amplifier, the soundcard of the PC doesn't have enough power to handle a speaker without amplification system.

  • Acer Aspire 572 E1 NIC

    Hello

    I had my computer Acer Aspire E1-572 some time in 2014 and it was very good for my use in photo retouching and such, it can be a little slow at times but otherwise works relatively well. It is a model with intel i7, so I really had high expectations for it, but recently it has me pushed beyond edge of frustration. The internet is catastrophic.

    First, I should probably point out that I'm absolutely useless when it comes to computer jargon. I did my research, read works around the problem but have not yet found anything that solved my problem with certainty or was possible for me to understand, and still less to make. I am nowadays primarily a mac user and windows 8.1 is my idea of a nightmare. However, I like to use the Acer now and then, more recently, I can't really leave this issue continue, otherwise, I'm sitting here with an expensive computer that is really more hassle that it is worth.

    My Internet home works well for other devices and it is not a problem that Acer does not have wi - fi, it is, nice and clear, but untilising it is almost impossible. 3/5 bars of internet so I expect at least some kind of feedback from her. It will sort of blow along some time, then load, then work stoppage or just simply load at all. For this, many people model seems to go configuring power management settings, I did and there was maybe a bit small (?) improvement but I wasn't definitely jumping for joy. The internet is still a step forward, two steps back. All the other advice just went straight over my head, it means nothing to me.

    It is difficult to recall that it was never my computer "navigation", but I don't think when I got it, I don't have this problem. He could not have won races of speed, but this actually worked. I was wondering if maybe the 8 to 8.1 windows update had thrown a key in the works, but this is speculation on my part.

    I then come to the drivers, I wondered if that was the question that a lot of people mention it in various forums. Similarly, I don't know about this. I used the search for drivers acer to find compatible drivers for my model:

    Wireless LAN: Atheros (Wireless LAN Driver - Driver WLAN + BT) Version 10.0.0.285

    Wireless LAN: Atheros (wireless LAN driver) Version 10.0.0.263

    Wireless LAN: Atheros (Wireless LAN Driver - Driver WLAN + Bluetooth) Version 10.0.0.263

    Wireless LAN: Broadcom (wireless LAN driver) Version 6.30.223.170

    Great... except that I don't know that I need (or if I need them at all) what to download and what to do with it when I went through the laborious download process.

    I don't want to take it back to the store, it's always a huge concern, and I hope that it is something that can actually be fixed at home.

    Any help would be sincerely appreciated (especially if it's something that I can understand) that I'm close to despair with the accursed thing!

    Thank you.

  • Acer R7-572 SSD or mSata

    Hello

    I am actively thinking of buying an R7-572. But there an mSata ssd slot? I saw a French ecommerce site that seems to say, as they sell it with a HDD 1 TB + SSD 24Go ( http://www.rueducommerce.fr/Ordinateurs/Ordinateur-Portable/Ordinateur-Portable-Grand-Public/ACER/49... ) but other sites say it is not likely (but they did not open the laptop)...

    Any idea on the subject?

    I received my R7-572 in the meantime, and I can confirm:

    Despite what Acer technical support told me (!).

    Yes, the R7-572 Acer has one slot mSata. I tested it and it works well. With it, the R7-572 is completely silent: trully wonderful.

    In fact, I hesitated with the Vaio flick, which has positive points as well, but Vaio Flip suffers so much of his noisy fan he was a point blocking for me.

  • Does not start on a battery Acer R7-572

    I just bought an Acer nine R7-572-6805. When I press the power button / stop it nothing happens if the AC adapter is not plugged in. I would expect mobile start/start because the battery is new and fully charged.

    Also, I fear that nothing happens when I press 4 to 10 seconds a reset button to the battery on the bottom of the laptop in a small hole in the middle (I use a paperclip).

    I searched the Internet and found a few suggestions that I followed one by one, but they did not solve the problem nor change nothing.

    1. update the BIOS version 2.04. Note: during flashing new BIOS version the orange LED is not blinking, but he shined!

    2. tighten all screws on an envelope.

    3. replace a charger.

    4 press the dough-reset button.

    5 power button pressed for more than 10 seconds, while the AC adapter is plugged in, was not plugged and what battery is not connected too.

    4 reinsert the battery several times.

    5 checked voltage of a battery. Two cells reported on 3.11V and the other two cells 3.81V. I loaded the first 2 to 3.78 manually in order to have all 4 cells similar tension. The tension makes me think that the battery is fully charged.

    Other observations:

    1 when the AC adapter is connected, then the orange LED flashes (it seems to indicate that the battery is low) after about 6 seconds, one by pressing the power button, that is from the beginning. It does not change if I go to the BIOS or continue with Windows startup.

    2. when it is detached from the battery then the orange LED shines at all.

    3. when the AC adapter is plugged cell then begins.

    4 Windows 8.1 is installed. The first time I used the laptop I have it plugged adapter, powered on the laptop and then with the installation.

    5. wall taken AC supply 230V in my country (unlike 110V United States, but it shouldn't matter because the charger is capable of working in both systems according to its specifications).

    Experienced the same problem? You probably have no idea of what might solve the problem?

    I replaced the battery. Laptop started with a new battery and works correctly. It seems that the previous battery caused the problem.

    I want to thank you for the responses and the professionals of acerserwis.pl who helped me to quickly and well.

  • Replace the top cover of Acer Aspire E5 - 571P_0866_V1.01

    I would like to replace the top cover of my Acer Aspire E5 - 571P and I am currently looking at this point on ebay.

    http://www.eBay.com/ITM/genuine-Acer-Aspire-E5-571P-us-keyboard-w-palmrest-touchpad-AP154000900-/391...

    They say so in their description, "Does NOT include the power button" (unlike the image?). I have to buy a separate switch then? Or I could recover my current top cover power button and paste it on that one?

    I have no experience with the replacement of the parts of computer so if you have any advice or pointers for me please share with me!

    Thank you in advance.

    The power Board is replaceable (a screws) so if your is ok, you can put it on the new cover.

  • Remove the cover desktop (Acer AM3970)

    Maybe a stupid question, but it comes to remove the cover.  I removed all the screws that hold it and I can't move it.  I don't want to pry and bend the case that makes anyone who has an idea of how I can remove this cover

    Hello janlarmil,

    1. You remove the screws (x 2) in the upward motion
    2. You slide the Panel towards the rear of the chassis (press with your hands and slide back)
    3. That's all!

  • Acer aspire m1201 black screen

    When I start windows movies from my computer to a black screen, Ive tried the system restore, install drivers missing and non-functional. McAfee is all this so far with no problems detected. I can get on the computer by pressing f8, then go to low resolution screen and mode without failure, but not normally. It worked for a bit of roll back to a previous display adapter driver, but eventually it stopped working. I can't find anything wrong with it and uninstalled programs that we no longer use. The computer worked fine until we turned on after a weekend away! In addition, it is just out of its warranty. How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    http://support.Acer.com/

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup, Acer should be Alt + F10 to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s of the recovery Partition of hard disk or system failure crash when you're facing up and running again.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • Acer R7-572 blue light, dead?

    Hello

    Probably BIOS problem?
    When I press on the power of the blue LED turns on for 8 seconds, nothing comes on the screen, the fan does not start. I tried replacing the RAM, WIFI and HARD drive, still nothing. When you connect the power supply, it is the battery. You can see by the orange light. If we try to turn it on, same thing, 8 seconds of blue light.

    I also did a video, please it mute and simply read the annotations

    https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=hqSJ38ozNVA

    It worked very well for a long time, I edited UEFI via windows. And no doubt it bricked when I pressed the button on the battery on the bottom of Acer.

    Believe it or not, I was ready to Flash the bios with the programmer. But before he unsolder, I unsolder the battery and just gave him a fire and connected to the power supply and press on the power button and it turned on!

    So I soldered the battery in place and it works perfectly fine now. I have no idea how how or why it happened but unsoldering battery wirked for me and the problem was not the corruption of the bios as I initially suspected.

    Very weird. But thanks for the help.
