Remove the cover desktop (Acer AM3970)

Maybe a stupid question, but it comes to remove the cover.  I removed all the screws that hold it and I can't move it.  I don't want to pry and bend the case that makes anyone who has an idea of how I can remove this cover

Hello janlarmil,

  1. You remove the screws (x 2) in the upward motion
  2. You slide the Panel towards the rear of the chassis (press with your hands and slide back)
  3. That's all!

    Hello

Sorry, but your question is a bit ridiculous to me. Until you wait for a response from Google around or ask in some store Kit tools.

My last laptop was Satellite P20. It's a bit larger similar unit but with the same screws. It is not recommended to use screwdrivers not original but I did. Please don t that, because of screw causing damage.

  • How can I remove the cover for the printing of books

    Hello

I just bought a 5510e Photosmart aio, B111a. It says in the manual that it is possible to print or scan books by unscrewing the lid. But how do you go? Seems I have to resort to violence!

    Hello I am

I rechecked everything on the device. As in the image, press the left side of the back cover with your thumb. The lid should unclip. The first time the cover can be a little stubborn. After that the left side is out you can push the cover to remove the cover on the right side.

    Yes

Can I use a Microfiber cloth to remove safely?

For text detailed and video instructions on how to clean the fans, visit You Tube and iFixit tutorial.

    • How it is there?

Dirt can also get inside a computer because it has vents.  Fans can also attract the dust bunnies inside the computer where most settle on fans.  To answer your question - air and the environment around your computer.

  • Studio XPS 8100 - how to remove the cover of the modular Bay?

I would remove the plastic cover of the modular Bay on the front of my venerable Studio XPS 8100 so I can install a USB 3.0 3.5 inch hub instead. However, I can't find instructions for it. In fact, I can't find any description of how to use the modular Bay.

To start: how to remove the cover plastic modular Bay?

Also: If someone has found the instructions on how to insert a player or another device in the modular Bay, I would be glad to know where I can find them.

    Hello rdunnil

I took off the glasses and I saw how the metal plate is attached. Applying light pressure with a screwdriver flat head will do the job. Exchange on USB 2.0 ports would also work: I found directions for the removed from their metal case. Whatever it is, I'm all set. Thank you for pushing me in the right direction. It is much more valuable than the useless, generic link you gave me.

  • Remove the cover on all in one office

I have a desktop HP all-in-one view 20. I can't get the back cover off to add ram. I have the 2 screws and the cover rises about 1/4 ", then that's it. I noticed a small hole in the lid that has a "lock" symbol Is there a tool to unlock the back cover?

Thank you. It does not help. You own a HP ENVY 20 - d117c TouchSmart all-in-One desktop PC.

As you loosen the two screws, turn each him until you hear a click five times. This means that they are completely loose.

From the edge of the lid near the base, lift the back cover upwards and remove it.

There is a video that I watched to see how it does, but it is a place that I can't provide you with a link to access.

    Best regards
    ERICO

  • How do I remove the cover upper dv3505

I need to replace the rtc battery in my DV3505. I followed the instructions of the interview guide and got to the point of p60 to remove the top cover where it is said:

It takes a bit of gentle persuasion. A fingernail or a plastic spatula between the hood and the lip of pregnant even better base, must turn it on. Once it moves it Peel like a zipper.

  • How to remove the cover of the expansion Bay/PCI-e?

    Hello.

I'm sorry, I really need to be delayed in some way, shape, because no matter how hard I try I can't remove the metal for the PCI-e slot. I tried to bend the tab that holds it on, it won't bend. Perfect. It is remarkably frusterating.  Can anyone give me a detailed on how to remove this instruction * bleep * thing, or better yet, does anyone have a picture or a video? It cannot be if difficult, but the tab will not simply fold and it's the only thing that keeps me from installing my new graphics card.

The office in question is a HP a6724c.

  • Satellite L70-A-139 - guaranteed zero when removing the cover for the RAM and HARD drive

    Hi all

    I have a Satellite L70-A-139 youcef.
And at the back of the laptop, there is a cover that is fixed with a screw.

Wil I void the warranty when I unscrew and take a look?
I want to upgrade my HDD to SSD.
The motherboard supports Sata III: D.

    Thank you!

No, the mandate must still be valid.
There is a removable cover at the bottom of the unit as shown here:
    [Toshiba Satellite C70 / C75 / C70D / C75D / L70 / L70t / S70 / HARD S70t drive replacement procedure | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/CRU3703HG0000R01.htm]

Then you should be able to upgrade the RAM and HARD drive.
I think this info should be mentioned in the user manual too.
