CP8 on Win XP installation

Try installing CP8 on Win XP and I'm stuck on the screen to access. Already, I have it on my Mac but need to test some things on my PC and I can't pass the Access screen.

Does anyone have a solution?

  • (Redirected) Dell XPS 8700 win 8.1 to win 10 Installation fails, the two senses - help

Here's my dilemma where I need help on. I have a XPS Del originally shipped with Win8 8700. I upgraded to Wi 8.1 when it became available without any problem. I've migrated from the original hard drive to an SSD that works without problem. I notice that I can go ahead and install Win 10, which I did several times in normal mode, safe mode, all devices/USB HDs disconnected, you name and the installation fails. The computer restarts after setting up the Win 10 installation files and on the second reboot boot me back into the old setup 8.1 Win with a Windows update error message did not. The error message is worthless after looking up the answers on the Board of Microsoft.

Now for my second try. I downloaded the Win 10 installation to a USB port on the Microsoft site. I booted from the USB and the installation started. First thing I asked was the Windows product key. After much research, I managed to get it using Belarc Advisor. I used this key and the installer came telling me that it wasn't a good key. Needless to say, I could not proceed with the installation of Win 10.

Someone here has a solution to this problem? I would be very happy for any help or suggestion.

  • Satellite C650D/006: LAN driver not installed in win 7 installation custom

Hi everyone, I bought a laptop Satellite C650D/006 yesterday from the original owner and he is 5 months old, but I don't like the installation of Windows 7 Home premium 32 bit OEM toshiba so I deleted from the hard drive and installed a complete installation customized windows 7 Edition home premium 32-bit and active with the OEM - COA key on the laptop.

    http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/products/notebooks/satellite/C650D/psc16a-006011/overview#details

After installation, I noticed that the LAN controller has not been installed in Device Manager so I couldn't of internet connection to run automatic updates of microsoft for win 7,

I went to the toshiba website and download the driver of network for this laptop and I installed it manually, and after that the laptop has been connected to the internet via an ethernet cable.

can someone tell me why the LAN Controller software is not installed on this laptop with a custom installation of Windows 7.

even my new dell and HP laptops install this driver when I do a custom installation of Windows 7, so why not this laptop.

    see you soon

    > can someone tell me why the LAN Controller software is not installed on this laptop with a custom installation of Windows 7.

If I understand your message, you have deleted the preinstalled Toshiba OS and installed a clean Win 7 OS in this notebook. Right?
This means that all drivers must be installed after the installation of Windows.
In some cases the Win 7 use standard Microsoft drivers that are part of the operating system and some devices may be recognized automatically, but in most cases you will need to install the correct drivers.

    > even my new dell and HP laptops install this driver when I do a custom installation of Windows 7, so why not this laptop.
Than other cell phones use the same chip as C650 LAN card? I doubt not all laptops use the same LAN chip, which means that different driver must be installed.

  • Satellite A300 - Win 7 installation problems

I bought this full edition of windows 7 and now install this OS on my computer, I get this error "Windows Setup could not configure windows to run on a hardware on this computer", where she reached the point of "Complete installation", at the end of 20-35 seconds, the monitor display goes off for about 1.5 seconds and then return before that this thing gets up at the beautiful text hard to read for a while time...

The guys give me a solution, but please don't tell me to remove my unit (RAM) memory because I did several times, but there is the same error...

I have 2 laptops... the current that I use is running Windows vista ultimate 64 and 86 vista Home premium in dual boot.
It came with Home premium installed pref, but I prefer not to delete unless it is replaced by the new 7 o.s. my other laptop is only a compaq presario 1.86 Ghz

I have 4 GB of ram, 2.27 Ghz P8400 PSAGCA - 03C010 Toshiba A300 system unit, this current one.

I did remove and replace as many times as Ram thing, it didn't always work.
I have an updated Bios, but that did not help either.

There is one thing, the installation program displays an extra box, which shows the amount of memory processing during the installation.
But which does not show on this laptop that I use now until error appears at the end of the installation...
the other laptop shows clearly % and the amount of memory processed at the bottom of the installer...
    I don't understand!

SATA is also set to the compatibility to the advantage of the installer on each reboot, but it does work with vista as it crashes all the time, so I always do the installation of boot dvd in compatibility mode set BIOS edit..but nope, that didn't help either...

Windows 7 upgrade advisor shows only 3 numbers. "Authentic" which program fingerprints, according to me, this isn't a conflict... should not run after installation is complete...

in any case... the guys any idea what this could be?

    Hello

I advise to use the AHCI mode in BIOS SATA options!
This allows to use the SATA controller!
The compatibility mode the SATA HDD IDE controller and it affects the performance of the laptop.

Using AHCI mode you must install/include SATA drivers.
The files are part of the Intel Storage Manager!

What to say that Windows 7 should finish worth a free installation since you n t install any drivers when installing Win 7.

Format the whole HARD drive, erase all partitions to ensure that everything has been deleted from the HARD disk and then try again with the SATA drivers

  • Need help with Win XP Installation on Satellite A200

    Hello

I tried to install Win XP on a new Satellite A200 - 1TJ model PSAE3, so I used the link that is given to me and downloaded the Intel storage utility Disk Manager. But it does not at all.

I did these steps so far:

-Insert the CD in Win XP (version 32 b) laptop, press F12 to boot from the CD and start the installation. After the installation has begun, I pressed F6.
-After a few seconds, Windows XP asked me for some externel drivers, I have inserted the floppy disk with the drivers in my external floppy drive, pressed in and chose the 82801 HEM / HBM SATA AHCI for my laptop. (Yes, it's the right one, I tried with the driver of another, similar, but it works with the first)
-Continue the Installation, Windows asked me to install Windows XP, press F8 to accept, and she continued.
-The window to the right controller appeared, I have chosen to format and create partitions, stop the installation and everything repeated while Win Vista is not your HARD drive, but the driver is installed.
-J' chose C:\ to install, press ENTER to accept and then the first Windows files had been copied on the HARD disk.

    - Then the installation stopped, asked me to insert the "Intel Storage Manager driver" to my floppy drive, in my opinion the right one was inserted, I pressed Enter to continue, but nothing has changed.

I just tried to use a WInXP unattended to pre-install the right drivers, but with this CD, the installation does not start. I also tried some drivers of Intel and Toshiba for the Intel Storage Manager, downlaoded all them and get to the disk, but it does not continue with the installation of Win XP.

    Maybe someone has another idea?

    You come in on this thread;
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/message.jspa?MessageID=102243#102243

The Intel Matrix Storage Manager is the right driver, well, looks like you made a mistake.

You have formatted and created the partitions after the installation of the Intel Matrix Storage Manager. Please don t format the HARD drive, because in this case, you will lose the SATA driver!

By the way; NLite software could help you to create a new XP and include the SATA drivers.

  • Satellite Pro L40-15 - Win XP installation problems

    Hello

I have updated the BIOS to version 5.1 for Win XP. Now the bios sees the SATA in ATA drive. I checked the POST screen. However for some reason any when I try to install Win XP, it shows that no hard drive has been detected. This intrigues me. Should I remove installation of Vista and this additional partition that is on the HARD drive? I prepared myself iso image of XP with SATA drivers, but I prefer not to play with this a whole just install XP and remove that Vista.

Someone has an idea of what I could do?

To be clear: you must use the Windows XP CD edition SP2 family facilities.
When you start installing WXP press F6 and load the Storage Manager (you can find it on the Toshiba support page). For this, you can use the floppy drive. I used it too and there is no problem. After the loading of Intel Storage Manager WXp will continue as usual.

  • Remove the unwanted Win 10 installation

My wife (not very experienced PC user) was on his laptop in an Open Office spreadsheet at the start of his PC installation Windows 10. She claims that she never accepted any request to install Win 10. It is currently in the middle of the installation.  How can I remove Win 10 and return to Win 7?

I have absolutely no experience with any OS since Win 7 other than a painful experience with Win 8 PC aunt where I couldn't find out how to get to the control panel. I don't really like for automatic installation to win 10 without permission (she could hit a button by mistake, but she says usually not all requests).  Asked installation "do you keep Win 7?" and when she said no, he started the installation?

Once your completed installation of Windows 10 PC, you can connect as usual, press Windows + l (settings) and then click on 'Making day and security'. Click on recover - you should have an option to roll back to Windows 7.

Once you are in Windows 7, you can disable the Windows for 10 by using a group policy with the (professional and above) local Group Policy Editor, or the registry key corresponding update. You can even use Group Policy to restrict the process of "GWX.exe" running Windows 10 which will prevent launch an upgrade at all. In addition, make sure that there is no file called GWX.exe in C:\Windows\System32 or files like that. You can also go to Windows Update and set updates install automatically Notify me when updates are available.

Of course, if you have the product key, you can also do a clean install by inserting the disc or do a PXE boot (if there is one), but I recommend you another option,

By taking these steps, your PC must not updated for Windows 10 without your consent,

    Hope this works for you,

  • TextMode/BIOS startup slowed 15 ~ 20 x after 7 Win-New Installation

    Hello

My company received a S10 - 2 (Windows XP Home OEM) as a gift after buying an x server IBM 3650.

As my company is moving to Win 7, the following has been achieved in the order:

    (1) the removal of all the partition (including the quick start, the recovery and the WinXP partition)

    (2) new installation of Windows 7 Pro

    (3) office Pro 2 k 3, NetOp comments

    (4) Win 7 patches of my enterprise WSUS server

    (5) replaced 1 GB Ram to 2 GB (DDR2 3500 at 667 Mhz, 1.8V)

    (6) latest S10-2 bios (rev 22)

    (7) driver Win 7: NIC and Intel GMA950

TextMode startup slowed considerably after step 3) - even the line of underscores ('_') blinks 10 - 20 times slower. Generally, it takes 15 minutes to start GUI of Win 7.

Despite the slow start, speed/performance of S10 - 2 is acceptable once started in GUI from Win 7. Experience Windows Index of the RAM, HARD drive and the processor is an average of 3 ~ 4 with lower graphics to 2.2.

I tried the following but not vain:

    (1) replace the 1 GB of RAM

    (2) reinstall the following: drive HARD, RAM and WiFi

    (3) update the BIOS Rev 22 (step 6)

    4) to update drivers Windows (step 7)

I also met the next post which suggests to disable "Quick start" I'll try tomorrow (after the English description):

    http://crashsource.de/114-Acer-insydeh2o-BIOS-Kaltstart-friert-bootvorgang-ein/

Please please advise what can be done before I have refer to Lenovo.

Any help and suggestion is greatly appreciated ;-)

    Hi all

The problem seems to be fixed after you install the latest driver from Intel storage matrix. The startup time down 15 minutes to 40 seconds.

It seems that the BIOS EFI is very sensitive even to drivers used by Windows?

    Kind regards

  • HP 6980 - Win 8 installs several printer icons in the Printers window

My HP 6980 has worked for years with Vista.  Now that I have a new computer with Windows 8, I have multiple copies of HP 6980 icon in Printers window installation, usually labeled 'Copy 1'.  Sometimes none of the icons of the printer is "Ready", and I have to plug and unplug the USB cable until an icon appears as repeatedly ready.  Most of the time, one of the icons is ready, but I have to look for it. Anyone know what is happening with this?

My problem was a 'bad' USB printer cable

After waiting for Windows 8.1, thinking that he could solve my printer problem, I found that it was not resolved.  I decided to try once more to remove my printer installation and start over.

I noticed that it took a long time to 'install' the printer, and when I went to try the USB connection at the end of the computer, I was pushing on the cable: when I did it, the printer installed immediately.  Of course the USB connection, while printing documents normally, couldn't handle the fast loading data associated with the installation of the printer.  I guess he was doing several connects that gave rise to multiple instances of the printer being installed.  My old Vista software seemed to be able to handle this, but not Win 7 or 8 Win.

After installing a new printer cable USB, instance a printer's installation (copy 2), and it is always "ready".

    You must update the BIOS.
