    Yes.

    Is it easy to compile once and run on a different platform?

    It has already been done.

    All you need to do to run your program on another PC installs a runtime environment Jva for the target PC architecture and operating system. (Most likely it is already there).

    There is only a single pitfall: the JRE on the target system must have the same or higher major version (for example: 1.7) as the JDK, you compiled with.

  • CATALOG RMAN WITH DIFFERENT PLATFORM

    Respected by all,
    my linux platform database and can create rman catalog in the windows platform?

    Thank you all for the reply.

    This is the same mechanism of functioning of the LINK DB in heterogeneous platforms like Oracle to SQL server, and vice versa.

    When you be able to update the database of different platforms, why not possible when the operating system is different.
    It will keep the repository with ORACLE, nothing to do with the OS.

  • I have to buy 2 licenses for my computers in different platform?

    1. do I need to buy 2 licenses for my computers in different platform? In windows, another is a macbook pro.

    2. is it possible for me to install cs6 on multiple computers using a license?

    Thank you.

    If you buy the perpeptual license it would be specific OS, in this case, you would have to buy 2 separate license however if you go for the creative cloud then in this case it would be OS independent, you can install with cloud 2 or creative on 2 Windows Mac or windows 1 and 1 Mac.

    In addition, with each license, you get 2 activation so 2 can use the software on machine 2, but not at the same time.

  • Cod app and library can be for different platform versions?

    I am writing an application that must run on a wide range of versions of the device. Some of the application contains code depending on the version, but a little is independent of the version. Are there problems or special considerations for structuring an application as a main .cod file compiled for a specific platform version and a .cod of library which contains functions of "lowest common denominator" compiled for, say, 4.2.1?

    What you propose works OK for us.

    The library is developed in a different project and workspace, the "interface" between the use of the application and the library is the jar file, which is imported into dependent projects.  This means that the two become completely independent, and it is possible to exchange the library for a later version on the device, without changing the main cod.

    The biggest problem is multiple applications with the same shared library requiring different versions of this library.  This section of the shared library has been discussed widely in the DevCon, so I hope that Rim will contribute to this requirement in some way in the future.

  • Yet to try to solve the problems with incorrectly platforms AUTODÉCOUVERTS

    Hello

    I have several platforms of AUTODECOUVERTS who are orphaned because I changed the IP address of the platform and the HQ 3.2.5 autodiscovery process that screwed up. I just upgraded to 3.2.6, which should prevent this problem in the future, but what I do now with five platforms that are sitting in my portlet "automatic detection" and won't go away?

    This prevents me to collect statistics on these platforms, because if I start an agent on one of these platforms, and then I try to import it, I get the error (in 3.2.6) below:

    Impossible to import the platform: java.rmi.ServerException: RuntimeException. nested exception is: org.hyperic.hq.common.SystemException: javax.ejb.TransactionRolledbackLocalException: a different object with the same identifier value was already associated with the session: [double found platform name: oms09 #10074]; CausedByException is: a different object with the same identifier value was already associated with the session: [double found platform name: oms09 #10074]

    How to remove these incorrect AUTODECOUVERTS platforms? They exist in a table somewhere that I can go in and just delete the right line?

    Thank you
    Brian

    These statements should fix you up:

    DELETE FROM EAM_AIQ_IP;
    DELETE FROM EAM_AIQ_SERVICE;
    DELETE FROM EAM_AIQ_SERVER;
    DELETE FROM EAM_AIQ_PLATFORM;

    (capitalization of the tables will depend on your database)

    These statements will erase all currently visible in the Portlet for Autodiscover.

    I hope this helps.

  • Problems with different e-mail addresses and the different Apple ID

    Hi, I have some problems with the different Apple ID and e-mail addresses connected to them, and I hope someone can help me in what to do.

    First a primer on my Apple ID

    ***@me.com - it's my account General iCloud (backup, iMessage, Facetime etc.).

    ***@losmail.no - my iTunes/App account (purchase and download music, app, etc..)

    ***@me.com: I have no problem connecting to this account (appleid.apple.com, iCloud.com etc etc..)

    ***@losmail.no: I have no problem connecting to this account in iTunes/App Store. However, I can not connect on appleid.apple.com with this account because he asked me to check the email address. However, this e-mail address use a messaging service that doesn't work anymore, so I can't check it out. Because it is a private messaging service, I want to change the Apple ID on my account @gmail.com.

    I believe, however, that the account @gmail.com has been connected to the account @losmail.no because I received my shopping etc. of my account @losmail.no sent to ***@gmail.com. These recipes also "Apple ID: * @gmail.com. When I connect to the account, however, use ***@losmail.no. However, an I said, I want to log on by using ***@gmail.com.

    What is strange is that in iTunes / App Store, I can connect with ***@gmail.com. However, this is not the same account as ***@losmail.noand previous purchases / comments etc. are not available. It's strange because said revenues (Ref. above).

    An other ting that indicates that the Apple ID where I use ***@losmail.no once was connected to ***@gmail.com, is what happens when I try to log in to ***@gmail.com to appleid.apple.com. Then, I get a message saying that the e-mail address must be verified. I can write the code sent to the ***@gmaiI.com, but it is said then that this e-mail address is already is used by another Apple ID, so it cannot be verified.

    So I guess my question is, basically, how I can change the ID of the ***@losmail.no to ***@gmail.com Apple when I can't access the account losmail, but the appleid.apple.com tells me that I need to check this email address.

    Best regards

    Philippe

    Hi phillla,

    Thanks for all the details with your accounts.

    Can be difficult to have more than one Apple with several e-mails all mixed together.  If an email is used with another Apple ID, for example, that e-mail can be used to create a new Apple ID or rename an old.

    The analysis of what you seem to have however...

    Your purchases are with your *@losmail.no Apple ID, but the emails for this go to your *@gmail.com email address.

    *@gmail.com is the primary e-mail address for your Apple ID *@losmail.no.

    You can connect to iTunes or manage your page ID with *@gmail.com Apple says it's an Apple ID on its own.  As an email address can only be verified for an Apple ID, which means that he must check with your *@losmail.no Apple ID and cannot be verified with *@gmail.com.

    You say you can not connect on appleid.apple.com with *@losmail.no you will need to check the email address.  You have a relief attached to this ID e-mail? This is the email that would be used to recover.   You receive your check or reset email - Apple Support

    Bottom line, you want to change your primary Apple ID but outdated to *@losmail.no to *@gmail.com, you must first rename *@gmail.com to something else and delete this email of all codes from Apple as well.  Then follow the link above to get access to *@losmail.no and control so that you can rename it.

    Best regards.

  • BarcodeDetector more RegistrationHandler.cpp for connection of platform BBM surveys will not work

    Hi all

    I'm writing an application that will scan qr codes using the camera in the qml with a sensor attached barcode object. It works fine, but I want to connect my application to the bbmsp, and I used the example code provided by Blackberry in the code of RegistrationHandler.cpp/hpp.  Once I create the object:

    RegistrationHandler * registrationHandler = new RegistrationHandler (uuid, this);

    The scanner no longer works.  It works before adding to this and with this line of commented code, it works fine. So I can choose, operation connection to BBMSP, or barcode. I can not get both to work together. I checked that it is this exact line of code isolation, nothing else happens.

    Can anyone maybe suggest some possible reasons for this and suggest what I might be able to do about this please, because it must have left me stumped for 3 days?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi, thanks for the response.

    the scanner itself did not work as I said - it has absolutely nothing and would not bar codes detect, viewfinder remained open, and even debug commands in all signals detection returned nothing, suggesting without barcode could be found. However, with the independent example exact same codes have been scanned.

    I have an update now - to trace the problem that I have commented the code line by line. Close unexpectedly when I raise the code line by line, it worked very well, and now the scanner returns bar codes. The problem settled, effectively without change in the code.  Very confusing... thank you for your reply but

  • Cloud sync problem creative cross-platform

    I have a problem with the photos on my Windows PC CC only appear file is not in my iphone app or ipad to lightroom?

    If I edit a photo on my ipad it synchronizes and is visible on the application of lightroom on my iphone but not in my folder of creative cloud on my windows PC? I thought it was cross-platform? all applications are signed on the same account.

    I thought that all files would be sync between pc and iOS apps winows as long as they are signed into the same account. But if I put a picture in my folder of creative cloud on my windows pc's will NOT sync to my iphone or ipad? Why?

    Help please

    Post edited by: Neil Holsgrove

    For what that this either to synchronize with devices, CC all photos must be in the CC folder not anywhere else on the computer.

    LR mobile uses no CC to synchronize photos, you can install mobile on your iPhone If you wish.

    As I said to use the CC to sync application, the photos must be in the CC folder on the computer!

  • Same policy, different size on different platforms

    Hello

    I received a few PSDs a designer who use windows. The police is open without, I already have it on my mac.

    I open the PSD files and clicked in the text layer:

    Adobe_Photoshop_and_05_-_Contact_psd___200___RGB_8_.png

    .. After I edited the text and the police has changed, it seems smaller (it is still opensans, but different)

    05_-_Contact_psd___200___Mauris_blandit_mattis_velit__at_eleifend_neque_vehicula_et__Nul__RGB_8_.png

    I downloaded fontsquirrel.com police. You know guys how do I solve the problem?

    I got from the police of this type, but after I installed the police accented characters changed to "BOLD" in browsers. In addition, the police of the downloaded opensans is different too in the browser than in the ps window.

    Sorry, I mixed up my fonts, I meant http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Open+Sans

    I'm having a problem with the canonization, where my homepage has two different URLS.  From my understanding, it's diluting my SEO efforts.  I read that the right way to fix is to do a 301 redirect, however I do not know how to do this.

    Hi pharcydeabc,

    Thank you for your patience. If you're hosting with a third party, you'll need to create or change the code in the .htaccess file that is located on your web hosting server. It is beyond the scope of Muse. However, here is some information on how to create a 301 redirect:

  • Perfectly reconstruct videos from different platforms/editing software...

    Hello

    I am part of a video collaboration project where a few people are going to be shooting and editing their own videos. These videos will then be reconstituted as a whole to make a flawless video. I was in charge with the final installation and Assembly.

    Some will use PC and some Macs. They all use different editing software. I'll put these separate video together using Premiere Elements.

    Can someone give me some advice on the best way to achieve this? Is there an a particular format that I should ask them all to submit, to make sure that I am able to edit in Adobe Premier elements? I want to give this information before you begin filming and recording of their work.

    Thank you so much in advance.

    I agree with Steve and his exhortation to do not mix very different formats.

    Now, PrPro Adobe CS 5.5 and above all with a card CUDA/MPE, doing a much better job at the to mix images, but at a much higher price, as well as for the smoother edition, a fully certified nVidia CUDA card. This ARTICLE will give you more information about PrPro CS 5.5 and CUDA/MPE.

    Otherwise, by choosing a format/COCEC 'master' and no more get the exported/output images in a correspondence format/CODEC, or do a conversion to this 'master' format / CODEC, solve tons of potential problems.

    Good luck

  • Problem with different ASM disaster recovery start - new

    Hello together,

    I had an old net here about it but now will not solve the problem with the points in the old thread. Here's the old: https://community.oracle.com/thread/3608049?start=0 & tstart = 0

    I'm doing a disaster recovery with the 'apex11A' on a new server database, which has an another ASM starts. The old man starts is '+ DGA112_1' and '+ FRA112_1', newcomers are called '+ DATA_QUM169' and '+ FRA_QUM169 '. I changed the settings in the spfile restored by writing in a pfile file and creating the spfile from pfile.

    I tried in several ways. First lay the new ASM with RMAN to the course:

    run
    {
    SET NEWNAME FOR DATABASE TO '+DATA_QUM169';
    restore database until LOGSEQ 24286;
    switch datafile all;
    switch tempfile all;
    recover database until LOGSEQ 24286;
    }

    Then I tried it in RMAN by defining the new ASM for each data file:

    run
    {
    SET NEWNAME FOR DATAFILE 1 TO '+DATA_QUM169';
    SET NEWNAME FOR DATAFILE 2 TO '+DATA_QUM169';
    SET NEWNAME FOR DATAFILE 3 TO '+DATA_QUM169';
    SET NEWNAME FOR DATAFILE 4 TO '+DATA_QUM169';
    SET NEWNAME FOR DATAFILE 5 TO '+DATA_QUM169';
    SET NEWNAME FOR DATAFILE 6 TO '+DATA_QUM169';
    SET NEWNAME FOR DATAFILE 7 TO '+DATA_QUM169';
    SET NEWNAME FOR DATAFILE 8 TO '+DATA_QUM169';

    But my new database will not set the new ASM and I have no why.

    The db_create_file_dest parameter is set correctly, so I think that:

    NAME                                 TYPE        VALUE
    ------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------
    db_create_file_dest                  string      +DATA_QUM169

    I forgot something? Would be nice to get help ...

    A big thank you and best regards,

    David

    Your data checkpoint SCN file are in the LOW and HIGH range of the SNA for SEQUENCE 24286.

    Therefore, your UNTIL clause should be 24287 SEQUENCE up to THAT.

  • Excerpt from XMLType problem with different namespaces

    Hello

    I need some advice on how to extract the child element to the XML fragment where the parent namespace differs child name space. I have done the broad research and I've tried several options but have had no success.

    This is fragment plsql sample

    vTheXML: = XMLType ("< GeneratedDocument xmlns ="http://tempuri.org/"> ")

    " < file_name xmlns =" http://services.DPM.com.au/intelledox/ "> Test.pdf < / Filename > .

    (< / GeneratedDocument > ');

    Below successfully returns a GeneratedDocument element (IE any fragment)

    vExtractXML: = vTheXML.extract ('/ GeneratedDocument ',' xmlns = "http://tempuri.org/"');

    But none of below works. They return null. I do not know how to represent the different namespaces in the function call retrieves XMLType

    vExtractXML: = vTheXML.extract ('/ GeneratedDocument/filename ',' xmlns = "http://services.dpm.com.au/intelledox/"');

    vExtractXML: = vTheXML.extract ('/ GeneratedDocument/filename ',' xmlns = "http://tempuri.org/"xmlns ="http://services.dpm.com.au/intelledox/"');

    vExtractXML: = vTheXML.extract ('/ GeneratedDocument/filename ',' xmlns = "http://tempuri.org/"');

    Below works, but would ideally use more precise criteria of XPath

    vExtractXML: = vTheXML.extract ("/ / filename ',' xmlns ="http://services.dpm.com.au/intelledox/"'");

    Thank you

    Hello

    Of course, you cannot declare two namespaces by default in the namespace mapping, use at least a prefix to distinguish them:

    vExtractXML: = vTheXML.extract ('/ GeneratedDocument / ns1:FileName ',' xmlns = "http://tempuri.org/" xmlns:ns1 = "http://services.dpm.com.au/intelledox/"');

    (NB: extract and extractvalue, etc. have been deprecated in 11.2)
