  • is there anyway that I can simply download a VPS Windows version on a disk or a flash drive and reinstall the OS in this way?

Original title: Windows Vista Edition Family Premium Situation!

So, my desktop came with Windows Vista Home Premium, which I didn't know until about five minutes when I tried to use a password reset and it came with an error message. Being a little smarter I have myself give credit, I found that the password reset I used (I had gotten my laptop) has been installed only for Windows 7 because it is the operating system on my laptop. I have no idea if the office came with a disk recovery or not, since my mother bought the display instead of in the box as most of the people get it. I can't get to the desktop because my mother has forgotten his password and is the administrative account and this is the only account available. I decided that I need to reinstall Windows Vista Home Premium to the computer but I don't want to buy a version of it, if I can't, anyway I can just download a Windows VPS on a disc or flash drive and reinstall the OS in this way? Or do I absolutely have to buy a new version of Windows?

    Hello

There is no available legal vista download.

And you make a reset disk on that machine, not another machine and make you before you forget the password, not afterwards.

If this is not applicable, you must reinstall the operating system.

Check that your antivirus (all-in-one suite If you have one) is not turn off your network traffic.

Note the devices installed in the machine.  Use this information to download the latest version of the drivers and software for the manufacturer's Web site features (on another machine and store on an external support, I suppose, would be the only way for you to do.)

Uninstall the software/drivers for network devices.  Turn it back on.  Even if pilots are found/installed automatically, manually update the drivers & software using the files you downloaded earlier.

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

Open a command prompt and run the commands following one at a time (after each ENTRY) without leaving the part through if somehting started working...  Note all errors and post them here.

  • Can I download games on my drive hard (e)

Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice. I received my new HP Phoenix h9 1040 computer yesterday, 99.6 GB os C car and a 2 TB datedrive1 E drive. I wonder as I play mainly games on the desktop, I'll be able to download games on the E drive and how? As I tried to install a game last night on the E in car, then an expansion for the game kit, it came with a message that could cause the disk to become unstable. Of course, I did something wrong and would like to know how... If I can download games on my E drive because I hardly have any room on my C left disc.

    Thank you.

Emkins wrote: Hello, thanks, I understand some of the information that you and some of them confused hehe! Yes, you are right with the specifications of the system. OK, I understand that you must change the value by default when you download a game on drive E, the only thing that confuses me is when I click on the E drive, theres no folder to place me games like you have your files on the C drive. Its all very confusing to me, but I hope I do it in the end, if theres any other information on how to proceed would be useful, but many thanks for the information you have given to me already. Thank you.

Hello Emkins, very probably wouldn't no matter what folder on drive E: If you have not installed the applications on this drive. You can see a system folder, which would by default, that you can not or should not try to access...

You can go on the E: drive and create a Program Files folder, as it is on the C: drive and install new applications in this folder. Applications that are 64 bit x must be installed in this folder. If you have applications that are x 86 (32 bit) you must create a folder on the E: drive in Program Files (x 86) and install all x 86 (32-bit) applications in this folder. It is the way in which these programs are installed by default in the C: drive. If you do not create the Program Files folder and the Program Files (x 86) folder, any application that you install on the E: drive creates a folder in its own name. Make the program files files and that the path for the installation of these files to ensure that they all settle in these records and you would not have enforcement records showing on the E: directory tree.

If you have already installed games or other applications on the C: drive, you can uninstall the C: drive and reinstall them on the E: drive, in the Program Files folder or the Program Files (x 86) folder that you created manually on the E: drive. This free capacity on the C: drive.

If you have a game that you play, more than others, you might be able to leave it on the C: drive. This should give you the best performance if it were installed on the E: drive, since the E: drive is a flat disc.

N ° you can not fix it.

A hard disk for the average person crash means that everything on the hard drive has disappeared forever. There is always some Seagatefor someone with vast resources.

I hope that you have created a set of HP recovery disks. If you did, then buy a replacement hard drive (500 GB or more) and put it in your recovery disc in the DVD player. Go into the BIOS and set the DVD drive as the first on the start list. Once you have done this, you can start your PC and use the Recovery Manager on the set recovery disk to reinstall your operating system.  If you have not created a set of recovery discs you can always buy a set of HP at a reasonable cost.

  • Can I format HARD drive and reinstall Windows 7 on the Qosmio F60 without CD

I think my hard drive is faulty on my F60 Quosmio so I want to reformat the hard drive to see if that will fix it. But I don't have the original packaging and the information with me at the moment so I don't know if it came with a windows 7 CD or not. Whatever it is, I don't have the CD.

I found on the net that most manufacturer who deliver without CD include a "recovery partition" or "factory image partition" which you can access during startup. Anyone know if the F60 Quosmio comes with a CD or if she has this recovery partition or partition image factory? Or do you know if there is a way I can check if my computer is it?

If you have more information about the formatting of the hard drive and reinstall windows 7 without the CD please let me know.

    Thank you.

The laptop came with a Windows disc, because there is a Toshiba recovery disc Creator called tool which create the recovery disk.

The recovery partition was available and it allows you to recover the laptop without the use of the recovery disk, but it does not work if the HARD drive has failed.

So, if you n t have a recovery disc and can not recovery Notepad using HARD drive recovery, then you have two options:
-You will order a new recovery disk
-You must install Windows operating system using a disc of Microsoft

  • Delete/reformat the drive hard partition (s) to activate the operating system reinstall

I have a HP 2000 2b09wm. He just broke, gives me the error message saying in that I needed a new hard drive. Suppose the old went kaput (even though I bought this pc on eBay not a month or two before). I have a new HD and a Windows 8 reinstall the software from a dealer on eBay. I tried several routes to try to reinstall the OS, resulting in many dead ends *. I asked the dealer to help, but did not get much. The last thing he offered was to remove the partitions in the new HD. I looked at a page eHow, how to remove Partitions on a hard drive. It is said to get a CD which includes fdisk.com. I burned super fdisk (2 MB) of SFbootablecd.iso and fdisk (40 MB) of fd11src.iso. I went into the BIOS to set the boot order. I put the saved first, CD/DVD-ROM internal drive and tried the two CDs. It always starts with just a screen with this:

    Not found boot device
Please install an operating system on your hard drive
    Hard drive (3F0)
    F2 System Diagnostics
For more information, please visit: www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup

I even tried to put the CD/DVD ROM USB drive first... same results.

So my questions to you, I guess, is first of all, why the CDs fdisk is not start? I burn the evil fdisk? Second, do you know why my OS couldn't be installed using the software to reinstall? The guy I got it (http://www.ebay.com/itm/181524428825?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT) , verified_computer_specialists, has excellent comments, so I guess that the software is legitimate and the computer is actually original with Windows 8.

    Thank you.
