Hi mshig,

Please use the forum for Support of Vista,

You can use restore the system as suggested in this post by Carey to see if the problem will be solved.
He helped to solve the problem with the similar error code.

Windows Vista repair options:
http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/vistahardware/thread/a4e38314-de3d-46A1-ae09-7902dec51230

With the complete PC Restore Option you must make a backup of your system, your disk hard or on a set of DVDs, in order to use this option. If you do not have a backup then do not use this option

1 / make sure your PC can start directly on the Vista DVD. Obviously, most modern PCs can. With older machines, you will need to check the BIOS of the PC

2 / start the PC

3 / immediately insert the Windows Vista DVD into the DVD drive

4 / A black appears with the words "press any key to boot from CD or DVD".

5 / press any key to start the boot process

6 / a new screen now appears with a progress bar. The legend say "Windows is loading files".

7 / after a few minutes the Microsoft copyright window wrong appear and another small progress bar will be visible

8 / you will then see a blue screen of curtains

9 / after a few moments the language option is displayed

10 / select your language and keyboard language and click the next button

11 / at the bottom left of the next screen - the installation screen, click repair your computer

12 / the system recovery options will now search your Windows Vista installation

13 / once the Vista installation has been located, select it and then click on the next button

14 / you are presented with all of the following recovery options

  • Startup Repair - this automatically the bugs problems that prevent Windows to start
  • System Restore - this will restore Windows to an earlier point in time
  • Windows complete PC Restore - this will restore your entire PC - programs, files and system settings - completely from a backup that you created earlier (available in editions Windows Vista business, Enterprise and ultimate edition only)
  • Windows Memory Diagnostic tool - checks your computer's memory hardware to find errors
  • Guest - this opens a command window

15 / click on the Option that you need and follow the prompts on the screen

    during the last two weeks my end 2012 Macbook Pro (13-inch) retina crashed three times during the navigation of Web sites in Firefox. This bad s Companion
    It was the worst case that could appear wile BIOS update.

    There is not a lot of things you could try
    In your case the ASP must be contacted in order to check the machine and the module ROM where the BIOS is stored

    If you're lucky, while the ROM module must be flashed again and the laptop should start again if the worst cases the motherboard must be replaced.

  • While the update requires a different apple id password

    Hello everyone,

    I have an iphone 4S. While you want to update an application such as: Google App or Sound Colud it comes up with a message: review needed-> press on continue and connect to see your billing or Cancel information-->--> continue Sign In to iTunes Store--> enter the password of your apple "[email protected]" which is not ID my apple ID and my backup email address is entered in the updated apple ID when I creatde my Apple ID: "*". My question is why come with this apple ID while I have set up as ' * ' in settings-> iTunes and App Store? and what would be the solution to update my applications?

    Thank you

    < Email published by host >

    The specific applications you are being prompted with another identifier Apple do it because when you copy of these applications were loaded on your iPhone, they had initially been bought under an another Apple ID. It does not matter what Apple ID you are currently using or have used. Apps are downloaded and attached to the ID that was charged to download. If you are not familiar with the ID in question, delete the app and download again. Doing so will load a copy of the application under your ID.

  • Satellite A210-15Y crashed during the update of the bios

    The worst case has happened and the laptop computer crashed during an update of the bios. I know that there is the possibility to repait the bios with a tool of recovery from crisis. For this purpose you have to press 2 keys (in most cases FN + B or Win + B) during the connection of the supply cable and the next start. I tried many books, but nothing happened. Can someone tell me the keys on which I have to press a 210 - 15Y satellite and maybe where I can get an image of cd of the tool of the crisis, because the laptop does not have a floppydrive?

    Hello

    As far as I know that the BIOS crisis procedure may be crazy by a technician of the ASP.
    You can not download a version of traditional BIOS who can update the BIOS from a USB FDD floppy.
    You can download only focused on the victory of the BIOS that can be run so that windows operating system is running.

    In my opinion, you should get in touch with a local ASP!

  • Satellite C660-117 crashed on the update of the BIOS

    A customer with a C660-117 has received a message from Tempro saying updating the BIOS. He did what he was told, but the update crashed in Block 8 and would go no further.

    Laptop will not start now. Y at - it a BIOS recovery tool or should he be returned to Toshiba to be fixed. Client not happy because it was Tempro who told him to put the BIOS updated.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hello

    Generally, the BIOS update procedure is security.
    But some before performing a BIOS update, all applications and software as antivirus software, firewalls that work in the background should be closed.

    However, for as far as I know that BIOS flash ROM must be flashed/repair using a disc of crisis

    But if it wouldn't be useful, you need to contact a Toshiba ASP in your country for repair.

The computer stopped working and so I turned it off! Since then, I've read that it was a very big mistake!

    When put on the fan starts and I can hear etc cd drive spinning. After 15 seconds, the screen is blank, the computer starts beeping!
    Is there a way to solve this?

    Thank you very much
    Rich

    Hi Richard

    Seems not good buddy from your description, that something went wrong during the update procedure and now the ROM module has been flashed properly.

    Maybe you area lucky man and the motherboard isn't too bad, but only the Rom module must be flashed again.

    Unfortunately, this must be done by the technician of the ASP. You will need to contact the ASP in your country for assistance.

    Good luck and have a nice day

    open it crashes, I could have Muse open and be on the internet and it crashes. I have other applications

    going very strong, then the screen goes all black. I then message something like: "your computer had
    a mistake and must restart, press a key to continue.

    This has happened 5 times in 3 days of update of Muse. Can anyone offer me any advice of what is happening.

  • InDesign crashing on the update of the article in folio

    I'm trying to update an article in an existing folio and InDesign continually crashes to the stage of 'Writing PNG'.  I tried updating to the latest version, reboot, logout of folio Builder, rename the file or reissue of links there.  Nothing seems to work.

    Is it because of the update that was made yesterday? and is there a work around or a fix?

    I understood the question.  One of my buttons that is set to open a specific State makes the crash of the upload.

    I don't know why, but as soon as I delete it the article perfect update.

  • JavaScript/AJAX - Show image while the update is done and then hide it.

    I want to do an update with AJAX, but I want an image 'pending' to be displayed before the update and then hide later. In this way, if there is a delay in the update or a line lock, the screen freezes not just, it displays an icon of 'Please wait '.
    I use code like the following to record in the database when a field is not checked (does it facilitate the trial):
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function deselect_field(f) {
      f.disabled=true;
      f.className=f.className + " saving";

      var v=new htmldb_Get(null,&APP_ID.,'APPLICATION_PROCESS=SC_TEST',0);
      v.add(f.name,f.value);
      v.get()

      f.className=f.className.replace("saving"," ");
      f.disabled=false;
    }
    </script>
    The economy class defines the background. I tested without the parameter no and it works fine. I think the problem is ajax is called too quickly, that is to say until the screen has had the chance to update.

    SO-, my question is, how do I get the display of images (animated gif) while the AJAX call is the treatment and then hide it in the end?
    Rather not use JQuery if possible.

    Thank you

  • crashed during the update does not start now

    my computer laptop gateway arrested during an update (not sure which). It does not start, I get a file missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe error. My repair disc does not work either, I read in the forum vista repair disks are not recognized if you instaledl a service pack. So if this is the case where should I go from here. I would be most grateful for any help. jpshan

    It seems that the update has affected your daughters to start.

    ·        Do a startup repair, boot from the disk Installation of Windows Vista genuine (or one that you can borrow from someone) or a recovery disc.  Here is the procedure: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html.  You may need to change the BIOS to do first the CD drive in the boot sequence to boot from the CD.  To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation.  Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit.  Put the CD in the drive and reboot.  When you are prompted, press any key to boot from the CD.

    If you do not have a floppy disk, you can make a bootable recovery disk by using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with burning software like: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.

    If this does not resolve the problem, try the following:

    To run the Bootrec.exe tool, you must start Windows RE. To do this, follow these steps (you may need an Installation of Vista disc to do that)

    1. put the Windows Vista installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.

    2. press a key when you are prompted.

    3. Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next.

    4. click on repair your computer.

    5. click on the operating system that you want to repair, and then click Next.

    6. in the System Recovery Options dialog box, click command prompt.

    7. type Bootrec.exe, and then press ENTER.

    Note If rebuilding the BCD does not resolve the startup problem, you can export and delete the BCD, and then run this option again. In doing so, you ensure that the BCD is completely rebuilt. To do this, type the following commands at the command prompt Windows RE:

    ·        bcdedit/export C:\BCD_Backup

    ·        c:

    ·        Boot CD

    ·        BCD attrib s h - r

    ·        Ren c:\boot\bcd BCD.old

    ·        Bootrec /RebuildBcd

    If this does not work, then withdraws EasyBCD http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=1 and run this process and see that helps.

    If not, then please repost your question in Forum Windows Update: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/threads where update problems specialists will be happy to assist with the problems you have encountered. Be sure to include the names and numbers KB ALL updates that have been installed before this problem started.

    Good luck and I hope this helps!

  • InDesign crashes when the updating of linked files

    Using the palette links to open an Illustrator or Photoshop file, edit it and save it, back to InDesign, InDesign will crash every time. Reopen InDesign the link will display as changed (yellow triangle with exclamation point). I can then update the link and continue to work.

    InDesign CC2015.4

    11.4.1.102 build

    Mac OS X 10.11.6

    MacBook Pro

    Intel Core i7 2.8 GHz

    16 GB of ram

    AMD Radeon R9 M379X 2043 MB

    No change in behavior after the replacement of my preferences.

    The fixed!

    I removed the scripts that I had added over the years and is no longer crashed when updating of links... for a trial. Then I replaced my preferences again and it seems to have returned to normal operation.

    Thus, if the replacement of your preferences does not resolve the problem, try to remove all the additional improvements that you added and replace your preferences again.
