  I think that to get the hardware timing of digital I/o on a USB device, you're going to have to step up to a card in the X series as the 6341, but I'm not sure about this.  You can find this specification under the specifications of each product tab.  Looking for 'Material' under DIO > Timing.

  The SMU-6556 is a 50 Ohm system, which means that the output is source series finished to be 50 Ohms and all our cables and accessories are 50 Ohms.  With this configuration, regardless of the flow of data, you should have a clean edge up or down, regardless of the data rate. The quality of the production (edge up or down) on your device is related to the adaptation of impedance of your cables.

  The SMU-6556 cannot adjust the speed of scanning by itself.  However, you can insert simple passive components to do it for you.  I have attached below the images.  The first is a diagram showing a way to slow down the edge.  The second is the a waveform simulation showing the rate of original edge before it slows down and the edge of idle.   This simulation is not the SMU-6556 but rather a generic digital output for concept.  In the schema that R1 is set on 34 Ohms because U1.8 has the 16 additional Ohms on the inside.  TL1 is the output of 50 ohms simulating the cable on the SMU-6556.  R2, R3, and C1 are components, you can insert after the SMU-6556 twist before moving your device/cable.  In this configuration from cable to your device is TL2 which is also 50 ohm, but it could be another impedance in which case you would change R3 to match.

  You can see in the attached images, you can slow down significantly the edge with this configuration by altering the C1.  I hope this helps.

• FPGA disappear controls when copy and paste in VI

  Strange effect here. I have a Vi that, if I try to create a new control - or copy and paste is a block of controls, the controls do not appear on the front panel - even if they are still on the block diagram.  It is a FPGA vi - but do not know if this is particularly FPGAS which is bad behave rather than the labview interface itself.  It seems that the problem may be an extreme version of the problem where the new controls are sent in the middle of nowhere on the front panel, so you copy on the block diagram - although in this case they don't seem to be anywhere - if you double-click it, and then you get taken to the empty boxes.

  Not sure if it's something to do with having a very long standing vi I was editing\adding\deleting stuff - so that somehow, he arrived at a State where he thinks the front is too full or something?  Someone at - he seen this before (and or have a solution to fix it).  It is really starting to annoy me - because as a general rule, it is best to test and develop FPGA on a separate VI stuff and then copy it to the main personality VI - but in this case, then, it kinda turns out to be a disaster.

  I had a quick glance at this and at the moment the only solution I have is to copy the schema to a new VI. Once in the new Vi controls can be copied in and behave as usual.

• Cannot create a control or the indicator for a refnum of the display of images in LabView

  I need to move a refnum to a control to display the Image, but find that I can not create a control or an indicator for such refnum.  I can create the refnum without problem, and when I right click on the refnum I gives me the options to create a command or the indicator; However, when I select one of these options no command or the indicator is created.

  I am running XP.  I installed Vision 8.6 at a given time, but had to uninstall because it damaged this control.  I don't know if it affects this type of control to a lower level.

  You can probably do it the hard way by using workaround.  Convert your reference to a Variant or flatten it into a string or cataloged full - some LV allows.  In the Subvi, convert it back into a reference.

  Hi guys,.

  I use labview to control test, but normally predispose the user interface as a windows with buttons, indicators, graphic controls program etc...

  But "they" want to be a process diagram that can be used to control and monitor the user interface stuff. Fine.   However, I created custom controls by changing true/false images on radio buttons.

  They work great when the program currently does not work, IE real gives an image, click on it and the image changes, great.  But when I run the software as soon as I move my mouse over the control, on what it shows default image for example a radio button, if I click and then move the mouse, it shows the picture its supposed to, but how can I stop it showing the radio button on a mouse?

  You can find a great video tutorial on how to create a system of buttons on the forums of JKI. For your particular purpose, you might want to look at the DSC Module, which has the commands you seem to be wanting to use.

• Speakers and digital output device problem

  So yesterday, I installed a new video card. A Nvidia Geforce GT220. After installing it I noticed that my speakers were not working. The default program I used was Realtek High Definition Audio. I checked in Device Manager and noticed that the Realtek HD Audio Driver/program had a small yellow triangle with an exclamation point and that there are 4 new options named Nvidia High Definition Audio. Whenever I tried to run Realtek it says that the program has been installed, but may not be installed correctly. He said it was a Code 10. So finally, I deleted Realtek but the Nvidia High Definition audio drivers did not work. So, I deleted the drivers from Nvidia High Definition audio and tried to reinstall Realtek. My computer says that I installed it but there is no program to access my different options.

  Now when I check the sound folder, during playback it says peripheral digital output (HDMI) 4 times.
  Although the sound does not work.
  Im just trying to run her on my Logitech X 540 speakers. When I plug the speakers that they appear not yet as an option in the sound folder.

  I don't really know what I can do to make it work.

  If you have any software backup as totalrecovery pro 9 or norton ghost, they prevent you from creating a manual restore point.  I have 9 pro full recovery and everything I do is to disable the Recovery Manager when I want to create a manual restore point.  There is no problem with system restore points created they work very well it is the manual of who are the problem.
