Create a link to a .html file

I'm creating a web page with a flash intro, but the rest of the site is done in dreamweaver.
End of my intro animation two buttons are displayed to go to two different parts of the site, I want these buttons to post a link to a file .html on my computer that is part of my site.

Can someone tell me please how to link the buttons in my .swf/flash to local .html on my computer files?
(I know simple action script e.g getURL() etc...)

Thanks in advance.

That's what you're after, why would you make a link to a local file on your computer.

This should be so easy! I've created a header with Flash. I want to integrate my html in the header files. When I click on the flash buttons it should link to internal html files. Therefore, the About Us button will go to Aboutus.html. I don't know how it can be manipulated with the URL request, but I do not want to include the http:// and so on in the link. If I can get help with this code, it will be great.

you did not include the http:// in your url request (if you are linking to the same domain/subdomain). Just do a urlrequest of the slash. As if, you are linking with the aboutus file / just set the path to the "/aboutus/" and he gets the currentdomain/aboutus /.

Adobe Reader says that it cannot find a file even if it gives the correct path and spec in the error message?

In LaTeX, I use the hyperref package to produce a pdf document called pratiques.pdf

Frustrating is that Adobe Reader allows the specification of OK in the error message file when he says that it cannot find the file! ??

I tried enclosing the specification of file within various quotes etc, but I just can't get this relative file specification to find the HTML file. I wish it works so I can apply a structure for the structures of files for this work.

Reader 9.3.4 cannot open files in sub directories (and all other directories), but if you move the files to the same directory where the pdf file is, they can be opened. Other people in the forums has encountered the same problem)

( http://forums.adobe.com/thread/714892?tstart=0). I guess everyone will meet the problem when they click links in a pdf document that point to files in other directories. 9.3.3 seems do not have the problem.

  • Where detailed instructions for developers to link the RoboHelp HTML files to an application?

I'm pass RoboHelp for word in RoboHelp HTML. The initial project of assistance was created years ago, and the developers who worked on it are not here anymore. Where can I find detailed instructions for our developers understand how to link the files to RoboHelp for our product application? (I haven't decided yet if you want to use Microsoft HTML Help or WebHelp as a main page layout. More information on how to associate the files could help me decide).

Also, are there instructions anywhere to help understand how to bind the files in application contextual help card ID?

Thank you, Jessica and Pete! I'll try MSHelpWiki and see if the developers can figure out with this info. If they use Delphi, I'll try the HelpScribble site.

    Thank you for you cooperation.

If you add a PDF file in the HTMLResources.zip file, creating a button that points to the PDF file allows you to view the PDF in the browser in application. See the number of overlays advanced DPS Tips for instructions and a free app example.

  • Create a link to the source file

I imported a Photoshop 7 Captivate file. Captivate converted into a PNG image in the library.

Then, I edited the original Photoshop file.

There are a couple of commands I had not noticed in previous versions: "Edit PDF Source File" and "update the Source.

When I choose upgrade from Source a message:

"Impossible to update from the source file is mising. Relink the source file before continuing. »

The location of the source file has not been moved or renamed because it has been imported into Captivate, so I don't know why I get this message. I can't find an explanation anywhere on the way to 'connect '.

Y at - it an easy way to recreate a link to (or what I need to re - import the file, reposition, resize, etc.)?

Jay, do you see the Photoshop file as a separate folder, containing layers, or the image flattened in the library? There should be a green light next to the folder, which shows that she is linked and synchronized.

  • Create clickable link in Windows 8 Signature of Mail?

I know that you go into the Tools menu to change your signature in the display of Windows 8 Metro.

I got the signature I want but I want to make a site name in the signature in a hypertext link to the site.

I tried just write and I tried html but no work.

My signature in Outlook online version works fine, but when I try to add the link in the windows version 8 metro of mail, I just can't figure how to make "clickable".

    Help, please!

    Thank you.

    JB

When I try to add the link in the windows version 8 metro of mail, I just can't figure how to make "clickable".

Looks like the best we can do is put all the bits you want in your Signature via the charm of settings, then when you start a new message or a reply you can assemble it in a link if you want, for example using Ctrl-x and Ctrl-k.

I want to know is why is the Outlook webmail signature not integrated with the Mail app signing?   For example if this would happen you can create a raw RTF (or HTML) file signing there probably can be used unchanged by the Mail app.   Sounds like a feasible enhancement request.   ; )

  • Open Local HTML file in the browser to the app?

    Hello

We have a question, we want to make a link to a local HTML file form in a DPS article, it takes the HTML file to open in the browser in application; We cannot use an overlay of web content for this feature. We are able to do this easily with the content of a source online by creating a link to go to the URL of the Web site in the URL section.

Is it possible HTML form resources folder and can it be tested in adobe content viewer?

Or better yet can we easily link to a local folder using the go to URL with a local file path? If so what would it be?

    Thank you

    Dream awake

Yes, you can open an HTML file in a browser in app by adding the HTML file to the HTMLResources.zip. Create a button with an action to go to the URL that looks like this:

    HTMLResources/HTML_Local/index.html

Make sure that you create your HTMLResources.zip file correctly and transfer it into the folder. You can test it in Adobe Content Viewer on iPad or on the desktop so that get you a glimpse of the folio (not article or page layout).

Basically, you use the same technique to post a link to the HTML file that you use to post a link to the PDF files. For more details, see the application of DPS tips > Advanced overlays > linking to PDF files.

  • Help with html files when you place the overlay Web content

    Hello

We have an educational application with plenty of interactive exercises - which were originally designed in Flash.

I have converted in HTML using Wallaby fla files. For each fla file, Wallaby creates a js, css and html file but also an active file.

When I place the frame Web Content, and then link it to the html file, it link to the real HTML created Wallaby? It wont let me select the folder containing all the files in that, and I can't link to a zip file either... Then, how it recognizes assets if I select only the html file? (see screenshot)

Or do I need to add a HTMLResources file and bind it to who?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You a link to the HTML file but make sure that these things are in their own folder or InDesign will add EVERYTHING in the folder that has the HTML in there.

  • Opening of the local shared .html file in the browser?

My WebWorks application creates and saves the test.html file in the shared folder to 'blackberry.io.dir.appDirs.shared.documents.path' successfully. If I try to open this file in the browser of PB, like this

    var filePath = blackberry.io.dir.appDirs.shared.documents.path + "/ test.html ';

    var args = new blackberry.invoke.BrowserArguments (filePath);
    BlackBerry.Invoke.Invoke (blackberry.invoke.APP_BROWSER, args);

can I get an exception with the message: 'undefined '; I guess that the args object is not created. The browser is not started.

However, if I run the browser PB manually, navigate to the file test.html in the 'file:///accounts/1000/shared/' folder, I can open it.

    What Miss me? Thank you.

More surprises every day... Apparently, the browser of PB does not file:/// protocol support; He expects a URL that begins with http:// or https://. But I managed to write my own code to open the .html file in the browser of PB. However, it's disappointing to do this kind of "gymnastics" to activate the basic features.

The index.html file is the page that is sought after by the browser when someone types a web address (this is the landing page for the entire site)

  • Link to a pdf file that requires a connection

I am trying to find a way to create a link to a pdf file that requires login/password, but it masks so that the user is not aware that they connected using the credentials.

Basically, I'm trying to provide links to the Monroney labels, which are only available through a network of dealers login. If I give the link specifically to this pdf, you should not allow access to the dealer network but only this pdf. At least in theory, it's where my head is.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

Sounds very complicated.  I don't see how you can have two meanings.  In other words, how do you access a network password protected without giving access to the network?  You can not.

I think you would need to put the PDF on your own server and place this file in a password - protected folder, assuming you want to log-in to get it.

  • Creating a link to Flah

Newbie and pulling hair. Trying to create a link inside a flash file on reach a url. 'FLA' file type contains a photoshop layered file that was animated. I would like to click anywhere inside a flash to goto URL file. Before posting tried many things of the button symbol, music video, etc. Did not flash help. I don't know what my lack of experience inside flash, given the subjects of the forum and tried several things listed at nothing doesn't. I would appreciate it if someone could give step by step instructions, or a sample file that shows the steps.

I'm so dense with Flash CS3 or this program is really difficult. Have little or no problems with Photoshop, Illustrator, LiveMotion and other products adobe... what I understand.

    Thanks in advance.

Strange. There is an error in the code, I posted, but it seems nevertheless
    work.

But for good shape, Please rephrase "eventMouseEvent" as "event: MouseEvent.
Hmm, I'll have another look on this afternoon.
