create a new user in presentation Services

Hi all
I would like to know if it is possible to create a user in presentation Services.

Now, when we create a user, we use the administration tool. We do the following:

Manage-> Security-> Action-> users

Is it possible to create a new user in the Referral Services?

Thanks in advance for your answers

Best regards

Hello

Users are created in the repository. When a user connects through the presentation server, this user is validated by report one created in the repository.

See you soon.

  • I can't create a new user account (Windows 7): the user profile service service has no logon

I tried to create a new user account, but I get the following error when I try to open a session with him:

the user profile service service has no logon

Until I leave than anything more I will add that I activated the hidden administrator account and this is the account I use to create a new standard user account.

Most of the patches for this issue are due to the fact that delete manually a user account does not remove the registry key that are associated, and you are required to go to the next section of the registry:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION\PROFILELIST

and delete the key associated with the user account to be deleted.

This fix IS NOT help, because whenever I try to create a new user, Windows doesn't bother creating a registry key to the new user.  The new user account appears in the account management window.  If I right click ondesktop and select Properties, then the settings , select the Advanced tab and click settingsunder USER PROFILES, the new account appears not here no more.

It is a huge problem.  I have other people who use this laptop and I don't want to use my login information, or the guest account.  I'm not editing the registry just to make a new account.

Please tell me there is a fix for this that works.  Windows 7 was not free, and this kind of problem is very frustrating for the premium software.

Thanks - this is the only tip that help me to find the solution to this problem.

Two files in the folder C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live could not be copied without administrator privileges.  This caused the connection in the attempt fail for all newly created user accounts.  The files are:

    C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\Bici\Bici1_00.sqm

    and

    C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live\SqmApi\SqmData720896_00.sqm

I've added the read permission for all users in these two files and retried the logon.  The opening of session proceeded set up initial user and filled perfectly.  Probably, this problem started when I installed Windows Live Messenger which is the only Windows Live application, I installed.

Other important in your message board was to check the event log which stressed the two files which could not copy.  Otherwise provided in WARNING messages immediately preceded files event log error message indicates that the profile service could not connect.

  • Cannot create a new user account, the user profile service service does not log and cannot install a program

I can't create a new user account (Windows 7): the user profile service service has no logon.

I have an administrative account which is the only account. I have problems with the installation of Autodesk Inventor so I need to create another user to see if I can solve the problem. But when I want to make a new user account and I get the following message: I can't create a new user account (Windows 7): the user profile service service has no logon.

I haven't added new programs in a long time and I don't know when this question has been raised as I've had my laptop for 3 years and this is the first time I create another account than my original. I don't want to reset my computer manufactured settings.

I also followed the http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/947215/en-us but I can't find any registry master in the list of profiles. In fact, I am the only user in there...

It seems that my computer does not have a record in the system registry.

In fact, the problem started when I tried to fix the "C:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\desktop refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer.or on a network. Check to make sure that the disc is inserted correctly, or that you are connected to the Internet or your network, and then try again. If he can't always find the information could have been moved to another location. "I was at least able to connect in the new user but will load a default profile and therefore do not load the profile properly. It seems I've done worse the problem after doing

    gpupdate/force

at the prompt as an administrator.

The very initial problem started all this was when I was running from Autodesk Inventor, it gives me the following error: Mismatched Ole32.dll and Comcat.dll. And the support2.microsoft.com/kb/201364/en-us is to say that since I am under Win7, the solution is not applied. So I'm stuck. And the next move was trying to see if a new user profile may solve the problem.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

And if possible, please also suggest a "repair" method so I can get Win7 function correctly without reinstalling the whole machine. "" I use a laptop so I do not have installation media.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Thank you for your update on the issue.

I suggest that you try to run the file system (CFS) Checker scan to check all the corruption of .dll files.

    1. Go to Start, click all programs and open the Accessories.
    2. Right-click on command prompt in the list programs, and then select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click OK.
    3. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

  • SRV Win2k3 creating the new user at startup profile

My Win2K3 Server creates a new user profile when starting, rather than use the existing account.
For example, the account is called "USER"
It creates a new profile named "USER. DOMAIN ".

The "new USER. The DOMAIN profile"seems to have migrated all the parameters of the 'USER' profile, so that it is almost impossible to tell them apart.

My problem is that this profile does not seem to be able to access the DHCP and DNS server (and other services) and the other server Win2K3, which is of the BDC.

I tried to remove the disk from the machine and on another windows machine, remove the directory "USER. DOMAIN"and place it on a USB key. Then, turn the player on and start again. It just creates another "USER. The DOMAIN profile"again but this time that all parameters were also lost as if it created a whole new USER profile from scratch.

I need to get her back to the original profile 'USER' to make everything functional again.

I would also like to know how this happened and why, if someone wants to be good enough to explain it to me.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I created a new user account, but it does not appear to connect to it. (Vista Home Premium)

I created a new user account for my admin account.  I tried to create a standard account and I tried to change to an administrator account.  The only place that this account presents itself is managing it new user accounts in Control Panel.  If I try to change user or sign out and then sign back, it never gives me the possibility to sign until the new user account that I created.

I read another post that said to try to restart in safe mode, what I tried without success.

I also don't get no error messages, so I was not trying to fix anything, given that I'm not sure it's broken and I don't want to do something worse.  I only use this computer and Vista for a few days now, so I hope it's something simple I'm missing because I am not yet familiar with the operating system.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

  • Windows 8.1 did not create a user profile after creating a new user

I was deeply puzzled by this problem.

Just bought a MS Surface Pro 128 GB and upgraded to 8.1 Windows it works fine until I needed to create a new user. He is a user of child for my daughter with a local account only. After creating the new user account, I tried to logon. He complained "user profile Service does not have the sign in» Google it and found the solution to change the registry for the location of the profile displayed on many sites. So I launched regedit. But to my surprise, there is no entry for the new user to the profilelist title - there are only two entries: one for me (admin), and the other is for a user named "fwuser". So I couldn't use the method to rename the master for this problem.

Could someone give me a tip, which could cause this problem and how to fix it? Much appreciate it.

  • Create a new user, FDM

    Hello

Could someone give me the steps to create a new user for the purposes of the FDM?
I created a new user for the application of FDM without any password, but it does not logon to the same application of FDM with the new user.

First, you must create user in Shared Services and to grant access for the purposes of the FDM. After that, you need to add user in select (Administration-User Maintenance) application of FDM security level and a location for him.

  • Unable to see the user in presentation Services

    Hello
I created a user in OBIEE administrator but I don't see the user when I go to the Administration of the Referral Services. All the world is facing this problem?

    Thank you

If you need to set the security permissions on the user who is logged in to create a group in the administration tool that points to the USER variable and create the group even in presentation services to set relevant privileges in this regard. In this way the LDAP user would inherit all the security features set for the group to which it belongs once it connects. If you do not need to set privileges on the user, then you have no connection as an LDAP user. In order to see the users, it should be possible that when the user logs in for the first time after the LDAP authentication.

  • Cannot create a new user account

    Hello and good evening,

I have a laptop HP Pavilion I've had for about a month. I was creating a HP recovery disk. As I didn't have the right amount of available disks, I cancelled it. The next time I went to do the same thing, there was a message in the HP support assistant saying that the recovery disk was no longer available.  So I created an image of the system in case I ever needed to recover my OS. It was stored on drive C. I copied and pasted into the recovery d drive [I don't know if you can do].

Anyway, some things have changed after I created the image of the system. The C: disk OS folder has been renamed Windows C:.

I felt a little uncomfortable about the whole, so I thought that I create another user account. Hoping that this would also restore my HP Recovery disk.

In any case, I went to do this and all seems to be OK, install applications and so on, until he came to a blue screen that says "Please wait". He remained on the screen for about 2 hours, after which the battery was flat. I repowered it and he started upward. He returned the same screen. I took the battery and plugged a USB based recovery disk. This led me to the Welcome screen, and I could log into my original user account.

I'm not game to try again to create another user account in case something terrible happens and it does not restart.

    What should I do?

    1. create another user account give back me my recovery drive originalHP?

2 could have another go to make him a corruption on my hard drive?

I don't know if it's an HP or a problem of Windows 8, so I posted both.

    I hope someone can help

    Chris

    Hi jcdck,

I see that you have some problems with your recovery disk. Create a new user account won't get your recovery disk. The same file structure will be implemented regardless of the user account. You should not generally be copy or save anything on the recovery disk.

You should be able to restore your PC to factory settings , but you need to back up personal files on an external drive or burn to a CD. It might not get your recovery back disc because this isn't the Windows function of HP.

Your only other option is to order the recovery CD for your model. If you can provide me with your product number I should be able to get your link to order. Are which country you located?

    Thank you
