  I suppose to create a Service (which can be called in numbers) with Automator which includes an Applescript script - but - no idea since the script is not one of my strong suits.

  There is not need to be perfect, because tables are not necessarily the model presented above - so to tweek the script to the application will be necessary. The text files can be created/saved in the same folder as the file numbers is in.

• Text files creating blackBerry Smartphones

  A simple requirement: I want to be able to create a text file on my computer, transfer it to my BlackBerry, then search it later (for example the list of movies, I have "Sahara"?).

  Firstly I find word go does not work, I can't create a folder on the BlackBerry. I need an update for $50, after paying $600 for the BlackBerry.

  I can't find any instructions on how to create the files and transfer them. The Manual deals with music and photos. Is it just a toy?

  Frustrated and very annoyed, can anyone help? Please, I beg you.

  I finally have a working system.  I went on the site downloaded and DataViz Documents to go Premium, but there is an easier way. If you open Word to go and select the menu there is an option to try Premium for a few weeks, it would have been nice to know that. I had all sorts of problems trying to activate after purchase. A lot of the instructions are confusing and the activation key does not work. Obviously the key doesn't care if zeros or SST (number or letter) is used.  The problem has proved that for some reason, I got the Documents go version 1, but the error message was a bad key.

  I then re - download Documents to go Premium 2, PDF to go and Documents to files (so much for synchronization with your computer).  This time, he seemed to turn on. The key was maybe still in memory somewhere. The PDF to go icon does not appear, and was in the download section and I moved it to the Applications.

  I printed the Documents go manual but had to write in page numbers, because they are not numbered which makes the index type of unusable.

  I also printed user guide BlackBerry 9700 (323 pages) but have not found that it is as useful as I had hoped.

  I installed the Desktop Manager and the Documents to go Desktop on my computer and have backed up the BlackBerry, the copied files and photos throughout and have synced files.

  On my computer, in a list of words in my films, I added bookmarks to movies beginning with A, B... to XYZ. which makes them easy to move on. There are also shortcuts in the manual to skip pages and research (or was it find?) function in the menu. Now I can find any movie in the list easily.

  It is possible to use the BlackBerry as a PDA, but you won't find much help in the manual.

  Is it possible to import data to a text ring with labview control.

  I have several definitions of register in the ring controls, but manual entry would take a lot of time.

  Was wondering if there was more automatic way, I could read the values from a file.

  Using the first method gives you the ability to extend such that each column specifies a control of the ring if you need fill the multiple rings.

  This example assumes that all of the three rings contain the same number of elements. If this isn't the case, you will need to create a Subvi, which removes the empty elements. [Edit - create a text file that contains a column for each ring, separated by a tab character.]

  I don't know why the name of the text file adds extension ".rem" in 9530.

  My wife has created a text file to his medical practice. This is just info on meds. After using it for months without problems, the Palm device stop now when she just open the file.  I went through the file on his PC and it has fewer than 100 characters. Small file.  None of the other files it has created for this. Any ideas?

  OK, so you have a corrupt Memo instead of a "text file".  Very different situation... Indicates the use of the term "text file" came from a computer and he was transferred to the TX.

  First of all, open Palm Desktop and go to the Tools/Options/Tools tab and click on the button check the records.  Let it search the corrupt files, and if none is found then a simple solution is to put your HotSync Manager affecting the memo application "Desktop replaces handheld" for a single operation.

  This will force copies of memos on the PC to install over both on the TX and replace the damaged one.

  Click the HotSync Manager icon in the toolbar and select "Customize".   Make sure your HotSync username appears at the top of the window, then highlight the memo application and click on the button 'change '.  Click on the selection for "Desktop replaces handheld ' and click 'done '.  (DO NOT select the "Set as default" box!)  Do a HotSync.  Given that you have selected "Set As Default" it will be only the replacement for an operation, then by default to "synchronize".

  If the memorandum does not exist in the section Notes of Palm Desktop on your computer, your other option is to install a program called "DBFixit' Pimlico Software.  It will search for free files corrupt, but to correct them, you will need to purchase the program...

  Well, your code is not still valid in the first place.

  There is no function called "tank", the real function is "chr".

  The character for a new line character is Chr (10) rather than Chr (13).

  In unix operating systems, the line break is just Chr (10).

  Operating systems windows/dos line break is Chr (13) | Chr (10), although some windows applications such as Word/Wordpad will understand * nix style chr (10) is like the newlines too, however, things like Notepad will not and will eventually display all data on a single line.

  When you transfer a text file of a unix operating system to an operating system of windows that it is usually performed using FTP and you need to make sure you put the software FTP in ASCII mode so that the new line characters get converted correctly...

  By transferring your file using FTP ASCII mode, from unix to windows, the characters Chr (10) in the file will be converted to Chr (13) | the pairs of characters Chr (10), then the file will be displayed correctly in Notepad.  If you transfer from windows to unix in ASCII Chr (13) | Chr (10) pairs are converted back to just chr (10) for unix.

  As an alternative, there's also a Unix utility called "unix2dos" which converts a text file from unix style returns to the line of back style line breaks, then you simply transfer the file in binary mode, so no other conversion takes place.

  I have a list of 18 000 words. I put these words in a table and I wrote a code that filtered the list to 2000 words. How can I take these 2000 words and create a text file that can be used in something like Notepad or Word.   I am actually compiling about 13 different lists with almost the same amount of words and, unfortunately, there is no "Select all" option in the menu of the exit sign. It takes a few minutes to scroll through an entire list.

  I do not know what Maury is trying to say, but the code is very well.  1009 error means your code is trying to target something that does not exist for as far as the code sees it.  In your function textLoaded, add the line I show below and see what appears in the output...

  Your code looks OK and also fine requirement. You can create a text file on your PC, if you are working on the server or client.
  It works fine without any problems abs. The only thing to be supported is the path of directory and file mode.

  1 directory path - it must be created on the Oracle server, pointing to the location of the target file you. If target is the customer, you must use the name of the computer and the relative path to create the directory as below. If your machine name is CLIENT001 and the target location is C:\Test, then your directory must be on the server (as sysdba)

  Because file access operations are supported by the server, so the server must have read/write access on the directory path. In the direct words, target your path on the cleint must be shared for access to the R/W server.

  2. If you want to create a new file on the location of the target file, it must be open in write mode (w) only. You have already done, which is correct.
