    The answer is that brush cannot be more than 2500 x 2500 pixels.  I reduced my image and it worked perfectly!  So make sure that your image size is 2500 pixels or less.  Julie

  • Create a Brush-> made to the Question of the circle

    Hello

    (See image below)

    As you can see on the image below. I'm taking the top of page 3 symbols and creating a brush of art with them. I would then apply the brush to a perfectly round circle, so that the parts fit together like a puzzle. If you see the circular part of the image below, the 2 first symbols line up properly, but the 3rd don't curl autour and sign in as a piece of the puzzle with the rest of them as I waited. If there is no help on how this can be achieved that would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Personally I prefer using a layer model and paint on the layer mask and make possible changes of color through cutting hidden (adjustment) layers.

  • Creating a brush 'fine teeth "?

    I don't know if it's even possible, but guess these days it's...

    I would like to create a brush stroke so that when I apply it to a form of sheet, it looks like all the fine teeth you would see in reality on some leaves. That's what I have so far, you mind - I'm completely redo the "veins" - the remains of a pochade earlier. And probably it remodel a bit still.

    leaf-only.jpg

    To be clearer, , I wish that these 'teeth' to be very little upside-down 'v', slightly tilted. How can I do this?

    Thank you!

    Carrie Anne

    Carrie Anne,

    For each number of teeth, you can create an Artbrush as follows:

    (1) create a straight horizontal path;

    (2) apply the effect > warp & Transform > Zig Zag with measures;

    (3) object > expand appearance.

    (4) object > transform > appropriate angle of deformation;

    (5) drag and drop the path on the button new brush in the palette shapes and give it a name, no need to change the properties by default, but it can be convenient to change Direction, depending on the direction of the track in question.

    (6) apply to the border of the path.

  • How to create a brush that changes brightness on pen pressure?

    I want to have a brush that changes brightness on pen pressure.

    I have essentially the same problem as this person 7 years ago: Re: draw under dark work (I'm even using the same tablet )

    There is a way to define a brush opacity on pen pressure, the problem is that it works well in a continuous race. If I start another shot, he adds the darkness at the previous race. Not what I want. The color should be only rgb, rgba not.

    Then, there is a way to define a ' background/forground color' brush on pressure of the pen, which is good for the cool effects and works pretty much exactly what I want if I set the background color of white, except that the light replaced darkness within a single shot. That means when I let go of the Tablet, a white dot appears where I let go.

    In this thread, he writes did he use to do this: "merge layers > layer > Set current to darken layer > Exchange swatches > fill > Exchange color chart." I noticed that in photoshop today cc 2015, when you make a new layer, there is an option to set the blending mode and fill with a neutral color for the blend mode. I don't know how to make the actions, so it would be nice if someone tells me how to do this action.

    To get into the Action:

    Window-> Actions

    Create a new set, and then create a new Action and start recording the steps

    Firstly, I reversed the image by pressing Ctrl-I or Cmd - I on mac. Then, I use the marquee tool to select the area I want to do as a brush. Then edit > define Brush preset

  • In any case to create a brush beveled without a Tablet?

    tried to change the dynamics of the form and the creation of a brush, nothings seems to be worjking.

    I'm using CS5 and I swore that you used to be able to do in other versions of Photoshop...?

    No, I can't use a Tablet

    There are two ways, depending on what you need:

    1. in Control Panel brush dynamic form select fade size Jitter.

    It would be a little conical brush, but your time will be so long.

    2. draw a path with pressure simulate enabled in the feature dialog box.

    You must activate the pressure of the pen under the size jitter in the Panel of the brush for this to work.

  • Creating a new text brush

    I've created several brushes in the past for my tattoo photos, but when I try to create a new one now the predefined shape set is not clickable... don't know what I'm doing wrong...

    The steps that I use...

    1 NEW

    2. Enter the new text

    3 EDIT

    4. define a Brush preset (can not do this step because it is not 'interactive')

    Tip size brush more large cabin you set in Photoshop is 5 000 px by 5 000 px.  With the help of a text layer would be better that a brush the text layer. A layer of editable text, including changing the font and size.  A brush set once and fixed just to the low pixels the text will not resize.

  • Why brushes that I create with the application not supported by Photoshop? -Is this not the point of the whole of the cloud?

    I have created custom brushes that I need to use for a project and features works of great brush. However, these brushes are unusable in Photoshop.

    Wwhy is a brush under construction engine in an application that is not supported in your cloud applications? It makes no sense at all.

    HI Dave,.

    This is probably how the brush has been registered. History:

    None of the Adobe tools use the same rendering template, each has its own format of brush and the brush characteristic, so not every brush works in all applications.

    In other words, you cannot use brush in Illustrator into Photoshop or sketch, or a drawing brush in Photoshop or Illustrator. Photoshop rendering template just can't manage that made the sketch, it works in a very different way. That's why when you create a brush brush, you must choose which tool you will target. If you are ultimate goal is to use the brushes in Ps rather than in the skit, then you need to limit yourself to the brushes Ps targeted when you get to the Style section (look for the Ps icon in the upper left section, after the Sketch in Photoshop brushes).

    When you save a brush, you are redirected to a screen (see photo) where it can be edited/named. This is also where you can see which brush to work with each application. The first three are sketches of Photoshop. If you scroll down you will see the brushes for PS and AI. When you save, except for the application in which you will use it. Let me know if that clears things up for you.

    Try this with one of your brushes:

    Go to your library and choose a brush

    Tap the change (square with a pen). This will open a Visual list of brushes

    If you want to use a sketch brush, choose one of these brushes (tap the circle to check), name it and save it. It will save in your library as a brush drawing, and as soon as it syncs you should be able to open in the skit. Once on the sketch, now a pressure on the fifth brush in the toolbar and your library of brushes should be there. The same process works for brushes for Photoshop and Illustrator CC.

    Let me how things are going.

    Sue.

  • Files using PNG in Photoshop to create Brush preset for watermark

    How can I talk to a png file in Photoshop and creating a Brush preset with it to use as a logo watermark?

    Thanks for any help you can give me. I am a bit challenged in this area

    When you create a brush. What is black is that the brush will use to show. So if you say you have a box that is 100% black, the brush will make a box of 100% of the color you choose at the time of the brush. White will show nothing, and gray will show an opacity of 100% and 0%. So adjust your logo accordingly. All what you need to do is to open the png and go in Edition > set the preset shape.
