  I'm pretty new to Lab manager 4.0. We have a configuration where our virtual machine can use a static IP. So we set static IP pool. Is there a way by which I can force IP customization every time I create a clone bound a model or configuration?

  I tried to look at the Vmware tools and I know that the Tools Customize VM in configuration first time it is deployed. But can anyone help me with how Vmware tools Gets the available pool of IP static IP address?

  When you clone a model or a configuration via the menu item 'Clone...', Lab Manager creates an exact replica of the original. The clones will have the same IP address and MAC address as the original one. This, in fact, is the exact purpose of cloning.

  If you want to give a new IP/MAC clone, you must do this each time that you create a clone:

  1. go to the properties of the virtual machine

  2 remove all existing network interfaces

  3. Add new network interfaces using the button 'Add Interface'

  4. press on "Update".

  5. deployment of this virtual machine will be automatically re - customize its IP addresses

  Why would you force the customization of the comments for the clones? Why not convert your source VM in a model and create machines virtual configuration of him? Virtual computers configuration created from the templates download automatically assigned IP pool IPs that you have defined.

  I want to create a .dll file from a simulink model .mdl file. I created a simple "Sample.mdl" file that adds two entries and gives the result.

  Before you build the .dll, I tried to run file .mdl veristand. Here, I got the below error.

  Method 1: I tried to create a DLL out of it by going to the Simulation-> settings-> workshop in real-time. Here I tried to change the target file system to NIVeriStand.tlc, but I'm not able to see that in the system target file browser dialog box. Can anyone tell me the reason behind that.

   

  Then I tried method 2.

   

  Method 2: I created this .mdl C code using grt.tlc in the Simulation-> settings-> workshop in real-time. I clicked on 'build' button, then he created C equivalent for this code. Using Microsoft visual C++, I tried to generate the .dll file, but I have the following errors.

  Can someone help me on this please. My goal is to launch this model with veristand eithor in.dll or .mdl file format

• Creating a Clone of VI in the real-time platform

  I wanted to create a clone of VI in time real LV on cRIO-9022 controller. I changed the properties to run VI and selected pre allocated incoming running clone.

  But I'm unable to generate the clone like this.

  I read from here, "you can configure LabVIEW to allocate or share a VI clones reentrant clone shared within a structure ofloop delayed or Timed Sequence" .

  My question is how can we create a clone of screws in the RT platform? clones are limited to Timed loops only?

  I got it, it was similar to what you do on a normal LabVIEW VI. I expect a change in the name of VI in CloneXXXX.vi, but in real time, I think that you do not have this indication.

  As he had no name and when I try to open the instances of these real-time clone live all were directed to the real VI itself, so I thought that it did not work.

  I did a test using the simple addition of numbers using clones and it works very well.

• How to create a shared library of Qt and use it on App without a head?

  I'm experimenting with some waterfalls headless basic application development, and I just hit another problem of blocking.

  I want to create a Qt library with some shared code between the head and user interface elements.

  That's what I did:

  1. created a new application without head the wizard project
  2. created a new library shared by using the wizard project. Adds a simple C++ (Qt not) class
  3. Set up the two parts of the Headless App to use the shared library ("Library in the workspace project" option from the "Add library...) (' Assistant).   Everything compiles and works very well so far.
  4. Now, I want to use the shared library Qt. I choose 'Library of the Standard BlackBerry platform' and ' platform > Qt Core "from the «add library...» "Wizard. Now, I had this error on the shared library project: C:\dev\bbndk\host_10_2_0_15\win32\x86\usr\bin\ntoarm-ld: could not find lQtCore.

  How to create a shared library of Qt and use it on App without a head?

  In fact, I would also use other NDK libraries on library shared as lbbdata and libbbdevice.

  The GSM user guide says that to create a model specification, users assigned to the role of CREATE_FROM_TEMPLATE_1009 can do. But what we realized, it was that users may need additional permissions from the template, the user should at least read permission to the specification of the model, in order to create from this Spec model.

  Is this approval as expected or we're missing any functionality-setting. Please confirm.

  Users must be able to read the model they use as a base, then they will have to be added to the permissions of the WFA of your model.    It's in place, so you can control the security and visibility of the model.   For example, you can have 5 groups that can create specifications for packing of models but only a group can use models of labelling of North American, Group B North American Base packaging models etc..

  Creation of Clones related to a paralytic is not possible through the vSphere API, only full clones can be made.   I want to prepare the number of virtual machines (i.e. clones or pictures) of the gold statue.

  I develop my own UI where I'll be selecting one of the images existing gold. I will mention a number of clones that I need. When I click on the button, I'll be citing vSphere appropriate web services API to create clones.

  Can someone tell me what do I want to accomplish is feasible or not? Can we create several clones at a time? And that too the use of web services?

  Take a look at CloneVM_Task() , you can certainly deploy several clones at the same time, but you probably want it saving 3-4 as it's pretty resource, especially against your storage space.

• Creating a clone to test the drive to the VM

  I recently installed an application on ESXi 4 with the VSphere client server.  I want to start the virtual machine as a test for a demo of client on your laptop with the VMPlayer.  Is this possible?  It seems that the only option to create a clone is to use VCenter Server, or is there another (easy) method.

  Use VMWare Converter standalone 4.0 and is also free. You will be able to convert back and forth ESXi Server VMs. Using this converter, you will also be able to P2V i.e. convert your physical server into a virtual machine.

  Y at - it options CLI to create a clone of a virtual machine without assistance from any infrastructure customer. It will be useful if the clone is a linked clone. I created a clone by copying the VMDK file and then I used VMIC. But, I'm looking for some commands, so this will be helpful when I wanted to create several clones.

  Do not JDEV_USER_DIR set in an environment variable if you want multiple versions of installed JDev. What I do is change the shortcut used to start JDeveloper to add "- J - Dide.user.dir =' I end up having several configurations of ide.user.dir even for the same version of JDeveloper for some of the tests that I do.

• Create a DLL to read an Image using OpenCV

  Hi all

  I am trying to create a DLL to perform image processing using OpenCV. In the first place, so I try to create a DLL that can read an image and display it. But I encountered a problem when I call this DLL in LabVIEW.

  The error in LabVIEW that says: "error 1097 appeared to call library function node in the .vi DLL Image playback (Play).

  Possible reasons:

  LabVIEW: An exception occurred in the external code that is called by a node call library feature. The exception may have damaged the memory of LabVIEW. Save all work to a new location and restart LabVIEW. »

  Here are the steps I followed:

  1. download OpenCV2.4.9 and extract the files. Make changes appropriate to the Environment Variables to include OpenCV.

  2 start a new 2010 Visual Studio from Microsoft Project to create a DLL.

  3. Add a property sheet in the property manager to include the OpenCV library.

  4 change the DLL of playback picture .cpp code (Play) as it is in the attachment.

  5 compile to create the DLL of playback picture .dll (Play) file.

  6 create a LabVIEW VI to call the DLL.

  Attached are the related files: 1 .cpp reading Image DLL (game) 2. Read Image .dll DLL (reading) 3. Read Image .vi DLL (game)

  If someone good to help me with this? I guess it might be the problem with the .cpp code DLL Image playback (Play).
