  I left as is for two weeks.

  I just checked the motherboard for laptop and there is no symptoms for short circuit.

  Don't know not if this issue could have something to do with the previous question, but the use of incompatible cards could affect on the motherboard also.

  However, if you are sure that the adapter is 100% ok, then the problem could be related to ESF on the motherboard as you see, here in the forum, we can assume that I think that only a technician of the laptop could provide more details after checking the s portable

• Power supply N6700B Low Profile pilot backward compatibility

  I've recently updated the instrument for the Agilent N6700B Low Profile Power Supply drivers on my system. I run LabView 8.2.1. For some reason, the new LabView VIs have all their VISA Instrument inputs and outputs incompatible with my previous thread and definitions of port at the top level VI. We don't know yet what exactly is different, but I need to remove the wire and the port at the top level VI and re-create it. Do this for all my screws where this driver is used is very tedious...  Is this really a compatibility problem, and this is known?  No work around available?

  Unfortunately, I do not know what was the previous version of the driver N6700 overall.

  One thing I noticed and found strange: on a separate system where the pilot works fine (which I assume is the old driver), the pilot of VI property indicates the revision number is 104. On the newly updated system, the same driver VI property indicates that the revision number is 16. Does this mean my update failed?

• How to control the TTi QL564P Power Supply with USB connection?

  When I connect the TTi QL564P power supply via the USB port I see not on MAX (peripherals and interfaces) the virtual serial connection. With GPIB, everything works great!

  I already downloaded the latest drivers on the site of the IFG.

  And I created a simple VI like this:

  OPEN--> VISA VISA WRITE ('V1?") --> DELAY (0.1 s)--> READING of VISA--> VISA CLOSE

  (works via GPIB, does not work via USB)

  VISA OPEN I have the name of resource VISA only the LPT1 and COM1 ports available... so where is the USB port (this virtual serial port, case)?

  VISA GPIB resource name is the ALIAS that I set on MAX...

  If you cannot find a component in Multisim, you can always create it using the Component Wizard (Tools menu), this is a basic tutorial:

  Creating components 101

  To create a component simulatable, it need a SPICE model. SPICE models are therefore created by manufacturers, visit the manufacturer's Web site to see if they have the model you need, you can also use a search engine.

  For your reference, I have attached a file Multisim with the LM723. You can save it in youruser database, just right-click on the component and select Save to DB component.

• Power supply hangs after running vi second time

  I'm just starting my adventures in worlds of LabView and I encountered a problem with my first serious vi which is control CPX400DP power and oscyloscope DPO4104.

  What my vi should do:

  Firstly, it defines two supply channels current levels (5V on the first, 0V on the second, etc.) and the size of the jump (0, 5V for example). Then vi must change two levels depending on the size of the jump, and repeat until the current levels of the two channels would be opposite to the starting value (in this case, 0V on the first channel, 5V on the second). Also before every current change the vi would save to the file average measurements out of oscyloscope waveforms.

  What does my vi:

  In the first round, it seems he does everything in order (with resonable numbers a new text file is created). However, when I try to run the vi again my power supply freezes short after some changes underway. I can't stop the execution of the vi in LabView (it takes a while though), but to run the vi successfully, once again I have to reset my power (turn it works).

  I tried to work around this problem by modyfing the vi in such a way that he would do what I want several times during the running vi only once, but unfortunately that did not work.

  If someone would have any suggestions on what I am doing wrong or how to help solve this problem do not hesitate to share I don't bite... much , but seriously, I'm stuck with this problem for over a week and I will be happy to advice

  It uses a standard size of W 150 mm x H 86 mm | 5.9 "x 3.4", where length / depth is the variable that changes according to the size / output etc. Their 460w is about 5.5 "long while their 850 is 7.5" long. Both of their power supplies will be manageable short cables even if a spare chassis can come with long cables (one size), where a sectoral approach to theirs in a new requires diligence to cable manage all new cables whilst being aware that the swing arm is to close entirely & the side panel back on , that's why care are guaranteed when you install a new chassis with new cables IE "slow work & think through '."

  A comparison of the two power supplies. EVGA 650 GS is a little longer, to 5.9 "x 5.9", but still a relatively small power supply that was one of the main reasons I picked it

  

• System fails to recognize the power supply and will not charge the battery

  Had motherboard replaced but, before that, I had tried a secondary power to check if my principal could be faulty.  Card mother equipped now and all working fine except that I can't get the sytem to recognize my main diet.  Battery won't charge and the system stops if I remove the power supply.  This is on a DELL XPS M1530 laptop.

• Requirements of power supply for the HD 5850 2 GB

  The newegg for the HD 5850 2 GB specs say I need a 500W power supply.  However, the form printed on the box of the HD 5850 2 GB said it requires a power of 600W.  I have a 560w PSU, can I get away with this or should I spend at least a 600W?

  The amount of amperage on the bus + 12 volts is the important resource for video cards.  One manufacturer said a block of at least 450 Watt power SUPPLY.  Not all power supplies are created equal, but the power supply in your link has 46 amps on the bus + 12 volts and that's a single rail PSU.  This should be sufficient amperage.

  If you have an old HP PC, so it might be a compatibility problem with your motherboard and the HD 5850. Open your PC and do some measuring to ensure that the map will adjust.

• G4 MDD power supply Issue

  My MDD was recently stop only two or three minutes after a cold start. The power led lights up, the gray screen with the Apple logo appears with the spinning wheel, but then the machine suddenly loses power as if the power cord was disconnected. These are the things I've already tried:

  1. Removed the PRAM Battery
  2. Disconnected all devices except the keyboard and the monitor
  3. Tried a different power cord

  Start in safe mode did not help. The fans are all running, the red LED lights on the logic board and disk drives seem to work. This could be a power supply issue or a problem with the motherboard and is it possible that I can definitely identify the problem without being able to start the G4? The startup time has been considering more when everything worked last week, would that be a clue? I've owned this machine for more than twelve years and it put to the test so I wonder if it's time to retire him.

• Fan of mid-2010 MP in power supply

  The fan in the power supply of my Mac Pro (mid 2010, OS 10.11.5) began its decent slow in death - intermittent squeaking. I hesitate to pay a few hundred dollars to replace the power supply just when a fan $ 20 will most likely do the trick.
