  I need to create an animation that pulls in the data and images from an external source. I know how I would do it a few years ago (by exporting a SWF movie that can load in pieces), but these days I need something that will work on all devices.

  Is there another way? Flash produces something different which can accept external data while playing live in a browser (html5 maybe?)

  ID thought to After Effects and render a movie file each time on a server (as it appears that AE can accept scripts and external data)

  What options do we have for this sort of thing these days?

  Flash pro can publish easeljs html5 and supports directly.  Easeljs (in part, the api preloadjs) contains classes for loading xml and images from json data.

  When you configure multiple views puppets (that is, by pressing keyboard triggers to switch to profile/quarter views), you need to adapt the behavior of the Face and behavior of lip sync (if do lip sync), the puppet of top level down to the individual view subpuppets.   This could have cache problems. I would approach this kind of animation differently. Instead of sequencing layers could import as a sequence of images. Make sure you have defined the interpretation of your sequence of images based on the cadence of your final file. Looks like you have picked 2 image by image, the standard for animation-Cellulo. 12 fps to 24 fps project where each image is duplicated. So, if that's what you want, import your sequence of photoshop 6 framework as a sequence, the film as 12 fps, drag the sequence in a model of 24 fps which is long enough for the complete shot, enable time remapping effect, go to the last time remap keyframe using the k key and then return a frame by using the page to the top or Ctrl/Cmnd + key left arrow , add a new keyframe, remove the last keyframe and add the expression loopOut(). That's all there is to it.

  If you want to use your sequenced layers and you have a cache problem or a problem of frame between the comps rate then to restore your layer comp sequenced like a movie and loop that.

  It will take maybe a few different apps.  The number one app is clearly you and your ability to conceptualize.  And well, it depends what kind of animation desired end product.  Graphics of the game is much different from an animated banner .gif web.  I think animate in Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.

  You left out what software you have.  Older versions of Photoshop open the animation palette and then use the menu drop-down and click branding om of layers.  Version of Photoshop.  Open the palette of the timeline. Click on use the picture in the menu click animation drop-down palette make management of layers.

  Use a strong and belnding modes such as Add, multiply or whatever. Don't make an adjustment layer. If you need a real transparency, create it using the shift channels effect as I advised by stacking it after the noise.

  Hello useful community! A two-part question.

  I'm just getting started on the video production and have some needs in mind. I hope you can let me know if FCPX can do that hopefully, if there is an obvious solution, I am missing, or some of you approach use.

  I'll be doing a few videos of interview style and will have several camera angles, with that I need to work. So if I understand correctly to work with iMovie, I'll have a main video timeline and then 'cut' in and out secondary structures for the other angles. But I must have a logo sitting in the corner as well. Is there still enough chronologies to cut in different camera angles while having a timeline showing the stationary chart? iMovie does not you have only your primary and another calendar cut in and out, but I hope that FCPX has the ability to overlay 2 more than at a time? Or maybe I'm going about this the wrong way need?

  The second part is linked, I want to be the logo/text animation because it is (as a brief introduction). Not throughout the entire video or something extremely complex, but to animate shapes and text sliding in such that the name of the speaker, the name of show graphics, etc... And I'm hoping to create my own custom animations, not the familiar "motions of text" located in iMovie. I feel like the examples I found online that all look like they have animations the same model and I hope for much more creative in this area occasionally, if that makes sense. In its most simple example I guess, the design and animation capabilities/techniques you can do in Keynote for graphics/text that can be market timed, fades, slides, etc.

  Is FCPX the right program to incorporate more complex forms of text animations as well? Or is it the work of another software?

  Four notes to add to this that said this article...
