Yet an another big update to CC and once again all workspaces, filters and settings etc are deleted!

Surely, it is simple to remember all of this to be transferred in new editions? You used to do

I now spend hours (still) reset all my workspaces, create filters, blah blah blah blah

You will fix this simple thing because, frankly, it's bad

    (1) uninstall Adobe CC (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html)

    (2) restart the machine.

    (3) install the latest Adobe Creative cloud version from the link: CC help | Creative cloud desktop

  • Creating cloud updates fail because the U43M1D212 error

    Problem:

    Creative Cloud desktop is installed. Connect on cloud creative works. Applications can be installed, BUT applications cannot be updated. Error message: "cannot happen on the Adobe servers."

    System:

    Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit

    What I've tried so far:

    1. all uninstalled, ran CC Cleaner Tool, computer rebooted, reinstalled.

    2 disabled the Windows Firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials. The router is reloaded. -It is a home network, not a managed network.

    3 checked everything this page told me to: sign activation, or connection errors. CC, CS6, CS5.5

    -Internet connection is fine

    -Course work sites

    -Hosts file is clean

    -GlobalSign Root CA certificate is OK, just to be sure, I downloaded a new copy and re-installed the certificate

    4 checked aamu.log in the users folder. It shows the chain of U43M1D212 error as the reason code to download update failed.

    Thanks Paolo. I have reviewed the case and appreciate the abstract.

    Do you already have the Traceroute report for swupdl.adobe.com results you provided ISP, Eircom?  I would agree that same your own tests, it seems to be tied to your ISP.  They should be able to take your traceroute results and report any irregularity to the hosted servers.

    As an alternative, you can try using another reliable DNS server.  He can't help if there is a lack of infrastructure, but it is the test only replacing, I can think of if you are unable to change your Internet Service provider.

    I did a quick search on our data on the case before responding to this message.  I found three different people, using Eircom, who have all the failures reported in the last month update.

    Please perform the following steps:

    (1) restart the computer.

    (2) if the error persists, rename the OOBE in OLD OOBE folder of

    Mac: MAC HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe

    3) download Creative cloud once more and try to run.

    (4) if it you is still facing a problem then Quit/end the notifier AAM address

    Windows:

    Press Ctrl Alt Del

    Start the Task Manager

    Click on the "processes" tab and check if you have AAMNotifier running

    If Yes, click end task

    Mac:

    Go to Spotlight (magnifying glass at the top right on your screen)

    Type activity monitor

    Press ENTER to open the activity monitor

    Check in activity for AAMNotifier monitor

    Leave this process if you find
