Creating controls in Documaker Studio

Hi all, we seek to create controls using Documaker Studio.  I see that the MICR font used to print on the check account routing numbers is included in Documaker.  My question is about the special characters printed with these numbers.  Is there some set upward we do that automatically generates these?  I don't see anyway to insert them ourselves.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the info about the placement.  My question was specifically about special characters/symbols that delimit parts of the MICR-line that you mentioned above.  With some additional research, I discovered that these are represented in the Documaker Studio using the characters A, B, C, and D in their place.  Thanks again for your reply - will be useful when you install these.

  • Time of design and of the dynamically created controls

    I have a project written in VC6 as a project of the MFC dialog box. In a particular area, I dynamically create several (the exact number depends on user input) CNiGraphs. There is also a two CNiButtons that were created at design time using the resource editor. The problem I have is that when this dialog box is open, a message appears saying it is an eval version and the control will go off after 5 minutes. After 5 minutes of waiting, the CNiButtons 2 go inactive (black tower), but the continuous CNiGraphs of work. I have a valid license of MStudio 8.1.6, version but it seems that these 2 buttons do not recognize the license. There are also other buttons from the moment of conception of the project, but these have no problem at all. When you create the dynamic creation of the CNiGraphs, give them a valid license string, and I was wondering if there is a problem with the time created and dynamically controls created in the same dialog box to design. Anyone know?

    I don't remember, but I can have created these 2 CNiButtons when I was with only an eval license. (All others were undoubtedly create when I got a full license) Could have an impact on them? I have a vague memory of reading somewhere that DTC create controls to check the license when they are created in the designer and store that info in them license. If this is the case does anyone know an easy way to update the license stored in control? I rather not just delete it and Add again because I would avoid having to redo the tab order (unless someone knows how to easily insert something in the middle of the order of tab instead of having to click through all the controls in the correct order)?

    In addition, I don't know if this would affect anything, but the project was originally built with ComponentWorks 1.0, we were forced to move to MStudio when we met a few bugs in CW, so all controls were originally CW controls which have been converted into control of CNi. I doubt that this is so like everywhere else, we changed during controls is not a problem, but I'm ready to try the suggestions.

    Hi JC,.

    I hope you had a good weekend!  I'm glad to hear that you're back running.  Add the extra button was, in fact, causing update the licensing information for the other buttons, as you can imagine.  After further research, I found that the license information are stored only the form of the control, and if this control doesn't change in any way (or in your case, adding a new project), he sees no reason when compiling to recreate a link to the license.  However, after the change of control and a new, it updates the link between the license information, which solved this problem in your case.

    I hope this helps, JC.  Have a great day!

    Fillable PDF is available in the two 12.4 SE and EE.

    In most cases, the XFA PDF file will have validation and formatting similar to the field types used on the Documaker data entry forms.

    If you issue XFA PDF files, the fields fill out the PDF form will have no formatting and validation in the field.

    Some things like the DAL support not available in XFA PDF files.

    If you are not familiar with the Documaker data entry forms used in Documaker Workstation, you can use the tool to check data entered in DMStudio to see how different types work on field data entry forms.

    Here are the types of fields available on the Documaker data entry forms.

    No, this isn't

  • Review: Adobe RoboHelp 11 stopped working Source code control from Visual Studio Professional 2010

    We contacted Adobe for help, but I also wanted to put this question in case someone has had this experience and can quickly provide a solution.

    Environment

    Windows 7 business

    RoboHelp 11.0.3.268

    Generation of WebHelp

    Team Foundation Server

    Visual Studio Professional 2010 Source code control

    Problem

    I am the original author of the Touchstone help system. Last week we started having two colleagues on board to work with me. On their systems, we have configured RoboHelp for working with TFS in Visual Studio using MSSCI provider 2010.

    The initial project was a lot of conditional compilation tags. I removed all the and the expressions and everything checked into Source control. When my colleagues got the latest files from Source code control, and opened the project to Version control, we noticed that their projects were still conditional compilation with other elements that had long been removed tags. After some research, we have removed the CPF and PSS of source control files and let the RoboHelp to create them when we opened the project. That solved these problems - no conditional more don't build tags in the project.

    Last Friday a colleague began to experience significant problems. When it right click on a topic to view properties, RoboHelp has stopped working. She was not able to do anything in RoboHelp since.

    The same day I tried to look at settings of Version control (I had no problem to access all week). RoboHelp crashes as soon as I clicked on tools > Options. Colleague B had the same problem today.

    This morning, I had problem A colleague.

    Bottom line: we are suddenly not able to run 11 RoboHelp.

    Our office employee internal help attempted to run the Visual Studio debugger. We get ' an unhandled in RoboHtml.exe win32 exception [5404]. " We also unhandled exceptions at various addresses with a read access violation address hex location.

    After watching the Willem site that lists updates of RoboHelp, we thought to their installation, but we didn't know whether to install ALL the patches or Patch only 11.0.3. If all the patches, we didn't know whether to install them in a particular order.

    Thank you very much for any assistance that someone of you may provide while we're also waiting to hear from the Adobe Support.

    Carol

    I was recently informed that the patches have changed and you only need to install later.

  • How do I get the name of a duplicated or created control and add a reminder

    Hi all

    According to the number of entry points I need, I duplicate a digital or an input string to the DuplicateCtrl function. My question is, how do I get the name and id of the control that has been created, and how can I assign a callback to it? Alternatively, it would be better to create a fresh ctrl instead of duplicate?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi TurboMetrologist,

    Why are you trying to get the name of constant control? Remember that you cannot use this name to address control; control names are in fact simply the macros in the file associated with the UIR, include in other words, the preprocessed compiler code and everywhere where the names of PANEL_CONTROL replaces the digital value as parameters to functions (and therefore 'control' parameter is an int value and not a char *)

    That's why NewCtrl () or DuplicateCtrl () functions return a control ID: this is the handle to the new object, the only way to handle it. You will need to store this handle in a nonvolatile memory so that you can access durng life program.

    In addition, there are other ways to assign a meaning to a control to pass on the name of constant control. For example, you can use the callbackData parameter to differentiate the different copies of a control.

    Let me explain with an example. You said that you need several entries (dynamically created that you don't know in advance how many of them use); a solution could be:

    • Design a master copy of a control in the IUR Editor, where it is easy to customize; also assign a callback function, if it must be common to all copies of the control
    • Assign a value to this control callbackData, programmatically for example SetCtrlAttribute (...,..., ATTR_CALLBACK_DATA, (void *) 1);
    • Duplicate the control, and then assign a different callbackData
      for (i = 2; I have< 5;="" i++)="">
      handle = DuplicateCtrl (...);
      SetCtrlAttribute (..., handle, ATTR_CALLBACK_DATA, (void *) I);
      }

    By operating this way, whenever the reminder of control is triggered by any control, it will receive the callbackData assigned, and you will be able to differentiate your code with a simple switch:

    switch (callbackData (int)) {}

    case 1: / / the master controls

    break;

    case 2: / / first dual control

    break;

    }

  • Control of the Studio development plots Sun chart

    I paint a chart by using the graphic Studio development command and the following code:

    NationalInstruments.Controls.Plot insertionLossPlot = new NationalInstruments.Controls.Plot ();
    NationalInstruments.Controls.Rendering.LinePlotRenderer insertionLossLinePlotRenderer = new NationalInstruments.Controls.Rendering.LinePlotRenderer ();
    insertionLossLinePlotRenderer.Stroke = Brushes.Magenta;
    insertionLossPlot.Renderer = insertionLossLinePlotRenderer;

    NationalInstruments.Controls.Plot returnLossPlot = new NationalInstruments.Controls.Plot ();
    NationalInstruments.Controls.Rendering.LinePlotRenderer returnLossLinePlotRenderer = new NationalInstruments.Controls.Rendering.LinePlotRenderer ();
    returnLossLinePlotRenderer.Stroke = Brushes.Green;
    returnLossPlot.Renderer = returnLossLinePlotRenderer;

    This. NationalInstrumentsGraph.Plots.Clear ();
    This. NationalInstrumentsGraph.Plots.Add (insertionLossPlot);
    This. NationalInstrumentsGraph.Plots.Add (returnLossPlot);

    This. NationalInstrumentsGraph.Data.Clear ();
    This. NationalInstrumentsGraph.Data.Add (insertionLossPoints);
    This. NationalInstrumentsGraph.Data.Add (returnLossPoints);

    The plots are drawn correctly, but after about 2 seconds, the lines move slightly and their brightness seems to slightly reduce.

    I don't see all the graphic properties which would explain this.

    Can someone explain this?

    From your description, it seems that you draw a large amount of data for the chart at the same time. In the default RenderMode configuration of Auto , the graph allows to detect large, as default data Raster mode. After a short time-out, the graph will see that data are not updated with high frequency and pass automatically to the Vector , who uses anti-aliasing can give diagonal lines and a lighter side.

    To avoid the automatic ignition, just set RenderMode to one value other than Auto .

  • Create controls inside a container?

    I am now creating a checkbox when running with the following code:

    Import mx.controls.CheckBox;
    createClassObject (checkbox, "button2", 5, {label: "Test Case"});

    Is there a way to create a button inside another object like a ScrollPane (or something?)? I created a ScrollPane in designtime and want the boxes, as well as the text and maybe draw lines contained in it during execution. Is this possible? If not, is there another container which would allow this?

    I try this with the following code:

    CounterScrollPane.createClassObject (checkbox, "button3", 5, {label: "Test Case"});

    but it does not work.

    Any thoughts?

  • Creating control "choose one of the following options.

    I want to make a control to "Choose one of the following Versions" for the intervention of the user.  Normally I just make a list with the appropriate values and allow the user "choose".  However, I want a Big check, possibly in bold and blue, so that it stands out and makes for a more "user-friendly" front

    If it's a digital control, it is easy to define the size and font of the entrance, but an Enum does not seem to allow this.  So I thought of curious Cousin of the Enum, the ring of text.  It's pretty easy to fill the ring of the Enum and the ring has a RingText.Font property, but when I try to connect something in this property, I get error 1.  While writing this note, I checked to see if I could read it - that works!  [It is said that the police is no 15 "App Font" color is 0, and no 'option' is selected].

    Is this inability to write the property of RingText.Font a Bug or a feature?  Someone at - it an elegant way to approach this problem?

    Bob Schor

    You can have the selected enum, then simply change the size of police through the box at the top. You need to have the selected text to change the text content. Change the attributes of the text required programmaticaly?
